A charmed life was never in the cards for Nora or her siblings. Saddled with a druggie mother and an absentee father, the eldest of six was forced into the role of caretaker from the moment her mother brought her first sister home at 5 years old. Luckily she had some time for what she would call normalcy before the rest of her life was lived for her family. Her grandparents, though they couldn't seem to get custody, kept Nora under a watchful eye for most of her childhood and assured that their grandchildren never went without. That was until her grandfathers passing at the age of 15, followed by her grandmother in the same year. Almost in an instant, she'd lost the only support she'd ever known and her mother did everything to get her hands on inheritance they'd left the children with no luck. It wouldn't be available until Nora turned 18 and that gave her a sense of security.

Her mothers attitude towards her changed when she learned that the money would never make it to her wallet, now becoming more nurturing and maternal, but the damage had been done in Noras eyes. She'd made it this far without her mother by graduating high school early and obtaining her first job to save for college when she wasn't caring for Delilah, Malakai, Faith, Sage and Maverick. They were her focus now and on the day she turned 18, she used the money to buy a home for them in Olympus. The remainder went towards her degree in Early Childhood Education, where she studied to become a Pre-school teacher online.

The fireworks that lit up the waters of La Paz couldn't have been a better indicator of what Amorita's life would be. Her parent's had already been living something close to a fairytale before her birth, staying together through school and as political dreams were mapped out beyond that. Mateo would soon become mayor of their hometown with Perla and Amorita at his side, sealing the perfect image they'd worked so hard to build. All things come with a price though, and that was how Mateo found himself wrapped up in the Ramirez Cartel.

Due to her father political affiliations, Amorita was spared the hardships that typically struck within the homes of those involved with such a dangerous business. Perla made sure no expense was spared on her daughters education, but had plenty to spare when it came to material items. She was and always has been a daddy's girl and that mentality was something her mother made sure to nip in the bud before they had a brat on their hands. Time spent in Culiacan with her cousins seemed to tame the only childs erratic ways for a while. Perla gave credit to her mothers cooking, which was enough to slow the fastest man down, while Amo would say it was Catalina. She was the closest thing Amo had to a sister and the difference when they spent time together was noticeable for her parents. What they didn't anticipate was the pistol that the girl would grow into. She was as humble and kind as they came when the time called for it, but on any other occasion, you could hear the girl coming a mile away. Traviesa. It became her moniker and she wore it with pride.

It wasn't long before Amo got a little too curious about her fathers friends. They dressed and acted different then the diplomats he usually rubbed elbows with, so when they showed up for her graduation party, her natural instinct was to follow once she saw the telling whisper to her father. It would come to be her biggest regret. She had no idea who the man was that she'd seen them murder. He could have had a wife, a child, a whole life that was cut short because of her father and his associates. Maybe if she would have stayed inside, drinking and enjoying the merriment, she would have spared herself the obligation to give herself to the cartel. She knew too much now and that led her into picking a career that would ultimately benefit the cartel.
