I can't actually believe that people take writers' attempts to give Cas straight love interests seriously. If Dean stopped hooking up with women in s13, Cas stopped doing that after his first hook up in s9. And still, somehow it's Cas who has a stronger preferance for women, not Dean.

Cas didn't even show any interest in the waitress Dean tried to hook him up with in s12ep12... iirc, Cas just sniffed her when she was next to him lol

Important to Me that we understand that Dean is a weird little guy to Cas as well, Dean through Cas's eyes is a yappy little stray cat who's a tripping hazard because he likes to get underfoot and meows incomprehensible things and has big wet green eyes and the mixtape is basically the equivalent of Dean leaving a dead bird in Cas's shoe and Cas is so so charmed by it

Remember after that hug when Dean said "This is Castiel." with the pride of a thousand suns when he introduced angel boyfriend to his mom that was so great.
