It wasn't intentional and this scene makes me cry when I watch it because I imagine Meg assuming it was because of the Hatred of her Family It was a baggie of trash that's why Chris' sandwich crusts were in it too I made her a sandwich with the crusts left on and I even peeled the orange for her but it was love she was never able to receive pure love energy put out into the universe by me that was snubbed by a mistake.
