“I was getting the ingredients to make my grandma’s soup! I think the only one I’m missing is some herbs for the seasoning…or, well, at least according to the list I am.”

“Ah, you must be Mr. Game & Watch, right? Welcome to my private little technology party!” Loid welcomed the guest in to his hotel room. There was several electronics there, including consoles from varying eras, a supercomputer (who knows where he got that), and a normal computer.

He went into the room, looking around at all the different gadgets in awe. He beeped to Loid curiously, wondering about all this stuff.

“Uh, would you like anything? Like, a drink or… something?”

“Oh, the G&W’s i have? All the Donkey Kong games, Judge, Octopus, and Pinball!” Loid smiled at the enthusiasm displayed by Mr. Game & Watch.

“Oop! I’m so sorry…” Loid said, feeling the floor for his glasses. It was kinda hard to see without them, since he was both short-sighted AND far-sighted, so even if he was looking directly at the glasses, they could be mistaken for something else. “…Are you able to give me a hand, sir-slash-ma’am?”

“I-it’s okay…Are you hurt?” Toon Link asked, looking down at the boy. He saw the glasses near him, so he picked them up and handed them to the boy. “Here you go.”

“Sorry to ask, but what might be your name?””

“So, what’chya after in the supermarket?”

“Oop! I’m so sorry…” Loid said, feeling the floor for his glasses. “…And yet i’m still shorter than you. When will i get bigger?!”

     A silent chuckle is displayed along with his words. Smooth.

“Well, don’t you complain if i have a major growth spurt and become the tall kid~” Loid said keeping a straight face. Inside he was probably having a party for getting that sentence out with no problem.

               ❝ Ninten, huh? He sounds like a good guy. Glad to know you have good friends in Merrysville. That’s a cute name for a town by the way. Hey, you should try to contact Ninten if you want to see him again, it’s important to keep in touch, right? ❞

“So, how’s the pie?”
