“I have to say it’s nice having some time to relax and not to have to worry about everyone for once.” Logan admitted with a sigh, she tucked her hair behind her ear. “So how have you been settling into your new position? I mean after the last one abruptly left I have to admit I was worried.” She new the last leader had left in a haste and left the leadership in a tizzy. “Although it is nice seeing a Vargas back as the leader.” She told him with a smile. “So besides all this seraph leader stuff I have to ask, did you submit a basket or are you one of the many bidders?”

Tying up her laces as she looked over at Leyla to see how far along the other woman was. “You know I’m pretty sure considering I don’t have a healing witch on stand by that this might be dangerous.” Giving a laugh as she used the wall to pull herself up off the bench and she clung to it. “Or you know the fact I was never exactly good at this.” She reminded Leyla as she tried to make her way to pad. “I’m just saying I must really love you if I’m risking my bones to do this with you.” Giving Leyla a wink. “So how has life been since you don’t have death looming over you?”
@leohastingss
“I’m an idiot.” Logan sighed as she sat down on the bench with her hands covering her face. “I thought I wasn’t making enough gestures for Meena, so I did the basket knowing she’d purchase it, but she did a basket of her own. Plus it’s way nicer than anything that I could have done.” She admitted, she knew Meena had money, but seeing it so up front made Logan wonder if she was doing enough to keep the other happy. The fanciest place Logan had took her required them to cook their own meals. “Honestly maybe at this point the universe just hates me. I mean it’s certainly not working with me when it comes to Meena.” She could only be so lucky, considering she’d won out supreme over so many maybe this was her punishment. “I would ask you to bid on her basket, but is it selfish to say I would be jealous if you had a fun time without me?” Logan asked, half teasing and half serious. “So have any baskets caught your eye?”

Logan hadn’t expected for both her and Meena to submit baskets, but here they were benign bid on by someone other than each other. Walking up behind Meena, she wrapped her arms around the other’s small frame before resting her head against Meena’s. “Sorry that we didn’t communicate this better.” Pouting slightly at the fact she wouldn’t get to spend the evening with Meena and that the necklace especially for her would be around someone else’s neck. “I loved everything is it helps. I wish I could bid on you.” Nuzzling her head into Meena’s neck and she relaxed slightly. “Think we can pull my basket out last minute? I don’t think anyone will miss it. Plus we can go on your very fancy date. Which you’re clearly all dress up for and looking beautiful.” Complimenting Meena’s outfit with a smile. “Next time I promise I’ll do better for you. Although I can’t promise a Berkin.” She teased with a laugh.

“Hey,” Logan smiled as she waved towards her younger sister who was coming out of the latest firm meeting. Letting the people around them scatter away, before her face dropped slightly. “So how was it? I mean I know your still short a few members but I’m working on filling the spots. I want to make sure whoever fills them doesn’t end up allowing Hastings 2.0 to happen.” Referring to the incident with Richard from their childhood that The Firm had just casually pretended never happened. “You know if you aren’t busy, we could go get some lunch and review some of the candidates?” Logan offered, while she knew being on The Firm was basically a consultation prize when she was the supreme, she wanted Lennon to know how much she did value her. “Plus it’s a lot of paper work and reviewing files, which I know you love.” Nudging her lightly. “So what do you say? Girls lunch?”
SALIHA YALMIZ.

Another class had come to the end for the brunette as an instructor. “Thank you for the great class everyone,” she said as people began to file out of the room. The class had been great, keeping the witch’s emotions in check as she began to clean up the room. It was the last class of the day, which meant that Sal would tidy up around the studio so that she didn’t come into a mess the next day - nor would anyone else. Sal began to wipe down the mirrors in the front of the room. The spray blurred any approach of a person, causing the woman to jump as she cleaned the mirror of to find someone standing behind her. “Heavens!” Sal blurted out, placing a hand over her heart, “You scared me.” She laughed softly, continuing to wipe down the mirrors so the liquid did not dry, “I apologize, I have to get these done as quickly as possible or else they will smudge.”
─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Logan had decided to pick back up yoga in the hopes that maybe it could give her some clarity to the mess she was referring to as her life, or at least calm her down enough for a few hours twice a week. While it hadn’t provided clarity on the Richard drama, her stressed relationship with Meena, on being the supreme, or anything that she found helpful. It had been nice to just clear her head for a bit.
Putting away her water bottle and mat back in her old beat up gym bag that was probably half as old as her. As she’d cleaned up she didn’t realize the room had emptied out besides her and Sal. Standing up with her bag in tow and she caught Sal’s attention from the mirror. Giving a slight laugh before putting both of her hands up. “Sorry wasn’t meaning to scare you, just was kind of out of it.” She admitted with a laugh. “Do you want some help cleaning up? Trust me I’ve cleaned many mirrors in my days.” Giving a playful wink. “Plus it’s the least I can do.”
MEENA RAJA MONTOYA.
Meena knew what Logan was doing. She knew Logan wanted her back and was doing everything in her power to prove to her that she was all in and, as much as she had her reservations still and wasn’t looking to rush back into things with the other, she was willing to at least enjoy their time together and try to get back to some semblance of normal? That and she’d be lying if she said she didn’t enjoy the flowers and hadn’t put them on display in the front foyer. “I look cute every night,” Meena pointed out. A soft smile tugging at the corner of her lips as she swung the door to the flat open. Resting her head lightly against the frame as she waiting for the other to come in. A light escaping her lips despite herself as Logan took her hand and gave her a twirl. “But, you don’t look so bad yourself, you know,” She complimented the other, pressing a light kiss again Logan’s cheek as she greeted her.
Only at the remark on Meena’s outfit, she pulled back, her eyes widening in horror as she began to scan her own appearance over. “Not fancy? This- this dress is Zimmerman. It’s not like I’m strolling around in Zara or somethin- oh god. I’m going to change. I’m just going to go upstairs and change,” She decided, having thought the dress would be a look when she had originally put it on, but now found herself tugging uncomfortably at the hem of the sundress she had adorned, wanting nothing more than to quickly turn on her heels and make a beeline up the grand staircase towards the bedroom. “I’ll just be a minute,” or thirty or more, given that she’d now have to carefully construct an entire new outfit and throw everything she had thought she knew about taste out the window and try again. Only, when Logan held out the gift towards her, she found herself stopping in her tracks. Still wearing a pull of a pout on her lips in regards to the comment on her outfit, but her gaze slowly softened once more as she reached out to take the present. “I love it, but it’s your necklace, Lo. It always has been. You should be the one who keeps it and, as much as I love randomly bumping into your brother, I think its about time it’s returned to its rightful owner. But, I can put it on for you, if you’d like? And then I can go change and we can go do whatever you have planned which I also have a feeling I’ll love?”
─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
“Well I don’t get to see you every night so I can’t make that judgment now can I?” Logan teased. Laughing as Meena showed off her outfit, she pulled the other woman into her. Smiling happily at Meena’s compliment and the kiss on her cheek. “Thanks, I even bought a brand new out for tonight.” Showing off her new outfit to Meena, even though it was nothing special she still wanted to show that she was making an effort. “You should feel special that I roughed all those stores to get a cute outfit for tonight. I don’t buy new clothes for just anyone.”
When Meena pulled away from her Logan stared at the other woman in confusion, wondered what she’d said wrong. “What? I said this isn’t fancy… what…” Logan rambled in confusion before grabbing onto Meena’s arm. “You look beautiful why are you going to change? We’re not going to La Grenouille or anything like that.” She explained while shaking her head. “I booked us a cooking class, it’s why I said don’t wear anything too fancy, because I figured with both of us cooking you’d end up with something on you and probably not be able to get it out.” Pulling Reina to her as she tried to stop the other woman from her impromptu outfit change. “I promise you look beautiful.” Putting both hands to the other woman’s cheeks as she forced her to look at her. “If you really want to change I’ll let you, but you already as so perfect.” Dropping her hand from Meena’s face and she held it out to her in case she wanted to read her thoughts just so she knew how perfect she already looked. “Plus if you’re going to change then I should too so I’m not the one completely dressed down on this date.”
“It’s not mine Meena. It was mine for what five years? I’ve had this one a lot longer and I’m attached to it. Just like I know you are to that one. I mean you’ve only had it over twenty years.” She remarked with a soft smirk. “My brother? What? No.” She shook her head. “I personally am not a fan of sharing so the only person that necklace pulls too is me. It’s been respelled to mine and not Leo’s so no worries there.” Taking the box from Meena, she pulled the necklace out of it. “So let me put this on you. After all it’s always been yours and I’m hoping it always will be.” Holding it out to Meena with a hopeful look on her face. “So what do you say?”

While Logan wasn’t thrilled to be the one doing the chasing for once, her relationship with Meena meant more than her pride did. So as she’d promised Meena when she got off that couch she’d began her plan to reassure Meena that she was all in, to show her. Despite the extra shifts it was requiring at work and how tired she was from them she’d still managed to set up flowers for the next month to be delivered to Meena every Friday. She’d used one of the many connections she’d build as coven leader for this date, even if it was probably costing her an expensive favor later on; although if it meant she got Menna back it would all be worth it.
Knocking on Meena’s door as she stood outside with a gift in hand, she rocked back and forth on her tennis shoes. Once Menna opened the door Logan gave a sweet smile before greeting the other woman. “You look cute tonight.” She remarked before taking Meena’s hand and spinning her around. “Good thing you wore that because I’m not sure this would go with anything fancy.” She remarked before holding out the gift to Meena. “Although I’m not sure if it counts as a gift if you’ve had it most of your life.” Logan teased. For Meena’s gift she’d respelled the moon necklace to be linked to hers forever, so instead of pulling to Leo it would always pull to her. “If you don’t want it back yet I understand but it’s belonged to you longer than it has me.”

REINA REYES.
⋅𖥔⋅ ━━✶━━ ⋅𖥔⋅
“Just because I appear strong or put together on the outside, doesn’t mean that I am, Lo,” Reina whispered out. Her own fingers slowly tracing their way along the back of the other’s hand before she brought the other’s thumb away from her face and instead interlaced her fingers through Logan’s. Giving her hand a light squeeze as her gaze fell down to that of their hands intertwined in her lap. Reina knew she struggled with being taken care of, just as much as she struggled to allow herself to be vulnerable. And the sad part is, she wasn’t always this way. She always had her walls, sure, but before her dad had passed, she used to be far more of the baby of the family and far too affectionate for her own good. Her puppy dog pout used to sitting tucked away in her back pocket ready to be pulled out on a moment’s notice and she used to be the first to admit she was having a bad day or wanted to spend it whisked away in bed rather than venture out into the big wide world around them. Only now, she couldn’t help, but feel clouded by fear. Fear that her inner circle may be taken from once more. “If anything, I think it makes me weaker, but I know and a promise is a promise. If I ever feel more than a-okay, you will be the first to know. I’ll show up on your doorstep like that sad dog from Up and everything,” She promised. A soft smile finding its way to her lips as her gaze stayed glued on her lap where their hands laid together as it should be.
“I know. I know it’s hard. It’s practically killing me and you’re not failing. I just- I hate feeling like I’m pushing you away either? Which I don’t mean to be? But, if we were to get back together, I just want it to be forever? I guess I just want to feel confident that we can last?” Reina found herself admitting. Peaking up at Logan with those wide and open eyes of hers before embarrassingly dropping her gaze once more. Her cheeks tinging red at the little admittance.
“Don’t be sorry. I guess I just want to be the one to seduce you for a change? But, I also don’t want to have hot and passionate sex and have that be the bandaid on everything in our past either? I want us to have everything, Lo. But, more than that, I want you to be happy? And if we end up back where we were, I just- I don’t want you to end up feeling unsatisfied or bored or like things aren’t working? I just don’t want to rush into things out of fear losing each other? Which is why I’m not against the seducing me in my office thing. I just don’t want us to hook up and then be instantly back together either without putting in the work if that makes any sense? I don’t know. And,” Reina trailed off from rambling. A smile itching at the corner of her lips that she just couldn’t shake as Logan told her that she loved her too. “Please. We both know we’ve never been friends, but also okay. I think I’d like that?”
─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
“Trust me I know. It’s why I’m practically begging you to open up.” Gripping Reina’s hand tighter to let her know that she had her. “Plus you’ve got to be vulnerable and messy at some point otherwise I’m going to look like a complete disaster next to you.” Logan teased softly in the hopes it would lighten Reina’s mood somewhat. Logan sighed at Reina’s pout knowing that it’d cause her to cave in a moment’s notice, she leaned her head against Reina’s for a moment. Closing her eyes as she fought off looking at her once more. “Please you’re the strongest person I know.” Logan remarked, putting her free hand to Reina’s face as she pulled her to her. “My door is always open you. Hell I’m pretty sure you have a key and can let yourself in. I’ll always be there waiting for you though, I promise.”
Logan nodded and let her other hand drop from Reina’s face. “Hey, stop Rei.” Trying to calm Reina so she wasn’t feeling as guilt about turning her down. “You made the right choice and I get it because as much as I very much want you, I also want a forever with you. So let’s do slow this way when we are back together you don’t have to question it okay? Because I can promise you one thing after all of this I’m not letting you go again.” Logan teased. “I mean I can only pathetically beg you once to take me back. After that well I’ve just made a fool out of myself.” She did find some humor in the fact that for once she was so desperate to be with the other person, begging for them back.
“Fine I guess I can let you seduce me for a change, even thought I thought that was kinda my thing in our relationship. I mean I did seduce you the day we got together. I mean literal fireworks went off when I kissed you.” Logan laughed as she reminded Reina. Letting the teasing drop as the conversation turned more serious and she raised an eyebrow at Reina’s words. “Wait what? You think I would ever be bored or unsatisfied with you?” Logan questioned getting up from the couch as she looked at the other woman in shock. “Reina Reyes, I may be a lot of things with you, but none of them were ever unsatisfied or bored. Nor would I ever be for that matter.” Reaching down as she pushing the hair out of Reina’s face and tilted Reina’s chin up to her so her blue eyes met Reina’s dark ones. “Clearly this isn’t working for you, so let me prove to you how much I truly do love you and will never be bored of you.” Clearly Reina needed more reassurance than Logan had offered in the past so now she was determined to make sure Reina never once questioned how she felt again. Leaning down as she placed a peak to Reina’s lips, she carefully moved the hair out of her face and tucked it behind her ear. “Reina Reyes, let me be clear about one thing, you’re it. If it’s not you then it’s not going to be anyone because yes every person in this universe who isn’t you does leave me bored and unsatisfied and wishing they were were you.” Logan rambled on. “I’m not the girl who chases anyone, but I would chase you all over this globe if I had to so you understood how much I love you.” Reaching down as she laced her hands with Reina’s. “I know you need reassurance that this is forever and fine. I’ll reassure you every day if I have to.” She informed her as she sat back down on the couch. Pulling Reina into her lap as she laid back on the couch and got comfortable.
“You’re right we aren’t friends but we also aren’t just a hook up.” Logan informed her as she nuzzled her head into Reina’s neck. Letting her fingers trace little lines up and down Reina’s arms. “Might as well relax for a bit because after you let me up I’m going to forever ruin dating for the both of us.” Whispering the promise in Reina’s ear before she placed a kiss to the other woman’s cheek. Closing her eyes as she settled into the couch, she wrapped both arms tightly around Reina as she snuggled into her. “Also be ready at 8 on Sunday - nothing fancy because I promise you it’s probably ending up dirty.” She whispered to Reina before giving a soft chuckle. “Also in case you forget, I love you.” Reaching her hand over as she laced it with Reina’s squeezed it tightly.

LEO’S APARTMENT
Logan laid down on Leo’s couch with a sigh, she pulled the blanket down over top of her. “I thought your thirties were when you were suppose to have your life tonight.” She groaned. “I feel like if anything I feel like I’m worst off now than I was in my twenties.” She told him. “At least then I was free to worry about only me and could wherever. Now I have a coven keeping me here, a new sibling, no place to live so I’m staying in my ex’s apartment, I’m literally chasing said ex in the hopes they want me back.” She rambled on before burying the blanket further over her head. “Tell me at least your life is somewhat better than my hell.” She asked hopefully. “If not we are running off to like California together.”
IVY GRAVES.
“I’m fine,” Ivy sighed softly “I mean if he’s good then I’m good. Right?” She shrugged leaning back. “But that’s nice to hear and I hope you won’t change your mind when you meet him.” She chuckled
─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
“Are you telling me or asking me?” Logan countered back. “You know just because he is alright doesn’t mean you have to be. He’s your sibling and potentially losing him is something beyond traumatic.” Logan sympathized with what Ivy had went through, despite the fact that Leo was still alive, she had felt the bond between them snap. “Nah, it won’t I promise. How old is he?” She wondered aloud. “His dad isn’t in the picture right? If you don’t mind me asking was he a witch? Sorry if I’m prying just wondering if I need to have any other species on stand by when he becomes a teen.” Logan remarked with a soft laugh. “I just want to make sure you have everything you need and are as prepared as possible.”
KEN MATSUI.
⇌
At the mention of the word closet, Ken’s features scrunched in distaste, “Thank goodness for that, I’d be on your case to move if I knew you still lived like that.” During the event, they spoke a little on this, ex’es and the things that came with them, never would he have pictured an apartment being on that list, “Not yours yet you stay and feel lonely? Do you see a problem with that?” Her quiet admittance should not have irked him, but eyes hit the ceiling regardless. “I don’t do backups, either you leave here and look for a place of your own, or you stay.” Ken still felt the edge to his words, but it didn’t compare to the bluntness he would normally dish out, which unfortunately was undergoing an entirely unwanted update. “Excellent, you’ll be charged then,” he said as he relaxed into the couch, “I need to try this kind of laziness for once, little work and still reap the rewards, must be nice.”
─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
“Good to know nobody would let me live like that, but where were you all two months ago?” Logan asked teasingly. “I do, but it seems silly to leave at this point.” She remarked with a sigh. While she did miss Reina, maybe it wasn’t so much about the place as just Reina herself. Especially when Reina had just been back in this apartment with her. “I guess I’m just holding out hope eventually we’ll work this out and she’ll come back.” She admitted to Ken. “At least we’re trying to but there’s a lot of stuff on my side I’m working on and well… I’m not sure she actually forgives me for breaking up with her.” She remarked quietly as she rubbed her hands together, and looked at the floor nervously. “I don’t want you to waste your time, but I pick here I guess then out of those options. I’m not going to pick somewhere else, because as crazy as I am I believe eventually this will work itself out. Either that or the year will come to an end and Reina will kick me out of here.” Logan told him with a laugh. “It’s fine if you want to call me crazy though, I know most people don’t stay in a place hoping that the person they love will come back.” She knew in a way it was sad and pathetic, but as much as this place hurt it did provide comfort. “I mean there’s things in this apartment that are just as much me as they are her.” She remarked offhandedly. “Fine. I’ll still pay you. Just Venmo me the amount I owe you.” She told him with a sigh as she grabbed her phone. “Well lay down and be lazy. You have what at least two hours booked out with me?” She questioned. “Put your feet up and relax.” Gesturing to the foot rest in front of him. “I even have a cute Easter blanket if you want it.” Logan told him as she grabbed the blanket off the latter next to the couch and tossed the white bunny blanket to him. “You know in case you get chilly.” She teased.
JOSEPH GRAVES.
He might have been trying to avoid Logan. If he was being completely honest, he’d been avoiding everybody by throwing himself into his work. Even the people he wanted to see the most. It had been too hard to look back at the event’s of the day, and looking at anyone in the supernatural world hadn’t made it easier. So he’d thrown himself into work more than ever and seen every client he could, even picked up a shift or two at the hospital itself. Anything but the reminders.
Except here was a reminder. Not at all successfully avoided. “Yeah, Reina’s been texting me. I’m sorry, things are just busy. Do you have any medical concerns, Logan?”
─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Logan smirked slightly as he walked into the room, she knew he hadn’t been expecting her. “I see. Well glad to know your at least communicating with Reina. Or is it more just she’s texting you and your not replying?” Logan questioned to him. Knowing that she couldn’t ask Reina in the off chance it was patient client privilege. “If I say yes will you sit here and talk to me? Because I can come up with a lot of concerns if it helps?” She offered to him. “What do you say Doc? Do you need me to bring up my medical concerns or are you going to talk to me?”

DEVIN KHAN.

“Wow. Okay, well, I wasn’t really asking for an outfit review, but for the record, I’m fine. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to get back to capitalizing on these after Valentine’s Day sales in an aisle that’s a little less judgey,” Devin exclaimed, rolling her eyes lightly over at the witch before her as she began to turn on her heels. But, at Logan’s next words, the vampire found herself letting out a sigh. Slowly turning back around on her heels, she only gave the supreme a small shrug. “I know, but… but I haven’t spent two months like this, Logan? It’s been barely one night where a whole bunch of people including my sister were locked up in a room having to hurt each other for their freedom? I’ve been focused on the clan and my family, so I haven’t had time yet to go home and change. It’s really not any more complicated than that and just like it’s okay not to be okay, it’s okay for me not to have to look perfect all the time without it being pointed out to me?” Devin pointed out, despite knowing that she was being partially defensive herself seeing that she wasn’t exactly ever okay. But, that had nothing to do with the reasons Logan may think. “But, hey, if you, um, if you do want to talk, I’m happy to lend an ear? Just maybe after I get all of this,” She motioned to the stuffed animals practically spilling out of her arms at the given moment. “Back to my apartment? Then I’m all yours?”
─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Logan had to admit she was taken back but Devin’s words, she stood there silently for a second. “Devin I wasn’t trying to—“ Logan stammered. Devin’s next words felt like a slap in the fact, because she knew it was a shot at her and how she’d been the past few months. Looking down at her feet as she tugged on the sleeves of her sweater. “Sorry.” Logan muttered out. Unsure if she should say anything else to further trigger Devin, despite the fact she had just wanted to help out. “Ummm.. I think I’m okay.” She had to admit she wasn’t sure if this was some kind of trap to get more information to use against her later or what Devin’s game was. “Do you need help with it?” She offered, still half expecting Devin to bite her head off for trying to help. “I don’t really have much to talk about. I wasn’t the one with people I love trapped inside.” She pointed out quietly. “My sister had some people inside thought.” She added to make sure Devin knew she wasn’t referring to just her.
REINA REYES.
⋅𖥔⋅ ━━✶━━ ⋅𖥔⋅
“No one. I’m one of a kind clearly,” Reina teasingly brushed her hair back over her shoulder as if for dramatic effect. Only, the bright smile she somehow managed to have whenever Logan was around began to fade as Logan urged her to get deep and emotional. Two things that she wasn’t even all too sure she was capable of? Suddenly all too reminded of that time in middle school when some teenage boy in her class had told her she was about as deep as a kiddie pool and vapid too. Two things that clearly at the time had been meant as an insult and, yet, Reina had never really minded being viewed in such a way? As vapid? Because maybe in a way it was engrained into her dna? The Reyes could talk about other people’s problems all she wanted. She could give wise and well-crafted advice. She could mold herself into the friend and confidant that you needed or desired in drop of a hat. But, when it came to analyzing her own emotions, she had spent so many years pushing them down that she didn’t even know where to begin. After their father died, her mother put on her favorite pair of red bottom pumps, perfected her mascara and hide the puffiness of her eyes from a night of crying alone in bed under a dab of concealer, before heading downstairs for breakfast. Sure, her and her brothers knew the truth. They all could hear the faint and muffle sound of her whimpers throughout the night, but they also knew better than to ask about it and, if the conversation even remote alluded to the horrible tragedy that had just occurred, her mother would simply raise her mimosa filled glass to her lips, taking one refined sip as her fingers shook ever so slightly, before resting the bottom of the champagne flute back down against the white table cloth, draping her napkin as nonchalantly as she could over her lap and making passing remark about how she wasn’t feeling all too hungry and would be spending the rest of her afternoon off at the spa.
That was how the Reyes dealt with their emotions. They didn’t. They avoided them like the plague and exchanged knowing glances that only the inner circle that was their family would be able to pick up continuing on with their day. So, when Logan tilted her chin to face the other and begged her to talk to her, Reina wanted to comply. She wanted to say the right words and be the right kind of vulnerable in order to make the girl she was infuriatingly in love with happy. Only, as eyes of brown met that of blue, her mind seemingly went blank. “I- I don’t know what to say?” She found herself admitting. “It’s not that I don’t want you to take care of me too, Lo, I just- I don’t really know what to feel right now about everything that just went down? But, when I figure it out, you’ll be the first to know? I promise?”
“I know you have and it’s incredible, Lo. You’re incredible and I’m so happy that you’re smiling again because, well, your smile is one of my favorite things to see and I’ve missed it. You have no idea how much I’ve missed it, but I guess I just don’t like feeling like the bad guy for wanting to not make things messier between us then they already are? I mean we’re supposed to be taking a break. We’re supposed to be having space. I mean that’s what you wanted, wasn’t it? I mean you don’t think I want to take you into the back room and have my way with you? You don’t think I want to be with you? Because I do! You want to know how I feel? I fucking love you, but that doesn’t-” Reina pressed her lips together as she shook her head the tiniest bit back and forth. An exasperated sigh breaking from her lips.
“That doesn’t change anything. I’m not asking you to turn off your feelings. But, I am saying that us sleeping together doesn’t make us back together or even that we will be? And it’s not that it’s not enough. You’re more than enough, Logan. But, if you want to work on yourself, that has to be for you, not for me and honestly? It’s frustrating feeling like I’m the one who has to hold you to the decision that you made.”

Logan kept her hands on Reina, carefully brushed her thumb over Reina’s cheek while she waited for any kind of word from the other one. “That’s okay.” Logan reassured. “You sure about that?” She half teased. “I know your use to be the stronger put together one in the relationship who is always taking care of me.” Logan replied softly. She knew part of their relationship was letting Reina be the one who had it “Okay and I hold you too that promise.” Leaning over as she placed a kiss against Reina’s cheek, before letting her hands drop back in her lap. “But I want you to know the offer stands for more than just what happened there it stands for everything.” She wanted to be there for Reina as much as Reina was there for her.
As Reina questioned her Logan sighed, she knew that Reina was right but it didn’t mean that it made her feel any better. She wanted this all to be over, for things to be back to the way they were before, or well maybe not that exact way, but at least back together. Even though she knew things had to be sorted before they reached that point it didn’t mean she didn’t wish they were there right now. “Your right I asked for this, but it’s harder than I thought. I’m failing at this left and right clearly, because I do miss you and what we had.” She explained softly. She knew as frustrating as this was for her it was difficult for Reina too, listening to the other woman’s words, she placed her hands over her mouth while she listed to her. Mostly just to hear her and not react for once.
Letting Reina finish before she dropped her hand from her mouth and she nodded. “I’m sorry.” Reaching over as she placed a hand on Reina’s harm. “I get I’m making this harder than it needs to be and that it’s frustrating holding me responsible for my choices.” She acknowledged that she wasn’t the easiest person to be with. “I am trying I promise, just I know I’m also back stepping because part of me does want to be with you and wants it to be easy.” She admitted. “How about we step back and forget me trying to seduce you in your office?” She asked hopeful. “I promise I’ll make it up to you if you are willing to consider forgetting this mess?” She already knew that she’d be going to the florist after here to get flowers. “Also—“ Reaching out to Reina and she laced their hands together. “I love you too.” Rubbing the back of Reina’s hand with her thumb. “I know I’ve wasted a lot of time and your probably running out of time, but do you just want to sit here for what time you have left? I can play with your hair while you relax. I promise no funny business just me helping you relax as a friend.”
