Honestly surprised it didn't do more damage. Given how monsters are especially vulnerable to violent intent, if she wanted to hurt him worse she probably could have done much more. Don't forget, Frisk is a mere child and was still able to go toe to toe with many of the strongest monsters just because of the power of Chara's killing intent (and Determination). Adrian is a full-grown adult. Protective as she seems, it seems to me she was showing a lot of restraint!
