I heard a theory that when Eve meant “quitting”, she meant life, not just her work. I wish the movie delve into this more. I felt like there was room for more emotional dialogue between Ares and Eve, especially if it emphasized the importance of impermanence. I wonder if some higher up in Disney told them to take parts out bc I feel like it was a disservice to not at the very least show visually the struggles Eve was experiencing. I feel like the ending would’ve hit harder. Just some thoughts tho I’m curious to hear everyone else’s !!

2025 NIN logo designs + exclusive SDCC poster.

Friday was the SDCC panel for TRON ARES. Thankfully, the band didn’t end up performing a secret show or anything.

John Henselmeier shared his updated NIN logo designs on IG (but deleted the post shortly afterwards) and I’m hoping he (or Disney) don’t mind me sharing them here. Supposedly, these designs are featured on the NIN+TRON ARES merch at Hot Topic come September.

Matt Ryan Tobin also shared his design for the exclusive SDCC poster.

Plus, someone finally shared a snippet of the B-side to the SDCC 7”. All said and done, pretty cool weekend if you’re a NIN fan!
