Here For You || Jett * Logan

Opening the door up to see her big older brother was not what she was expecting to see, at all, and if she weren’t so high in the moment she might’ve looked more confused rather than just blank. He must’ve found out her dirty little secret and from the handful of people she knew, that knew of it, she could easily track them down and hit them. “Aren’t you suppose to be anywhere but here.” She said groggily, walking away from the door allowing him to follow her further into her place. “You’re not suppose to be here.” She mumbled plopping herself down on the couch, bringing her knees up to her chest. “So who told you? Because I doubt you would’ve left Johanna alone with someone just to come see me if someone didn’t tell you.” 

Thomas smiles and shrugs his shoulder “damn it must be really bad” he says, but doesn’t push her to tell him, because he knows from experience that sometimes your just not ready to talk about it, and people need to learn to back the fuck off  “best idea ever, let’s go.”

Giving him a smile she raised one of her shoulders. “Bad enough that I’ll probably only ever talk about it when I’m totally black out wasted.” She chuckled dropping the cup of coffee she had in the trash then turning to face him again. “Bar or should we raid our parents liquor?”

“I….” She shuddered, scrunching her face. “Didn’t need to have the image of Nathan Salvatore in someone’s bed…especially my daughters.” She rolled her eyes. “Look, he’s a very sweet boy. He has manners, he is charming- i’ll give him that. It’s just- as you said… every girl in this town wants him…even the moms which is gross in itself. I don’t want you hurt…that’s all.”

Logan shrugged. “Well it’s what he’s known for isn’t it.” Mumbling she looked over at her mother with a smile that seemed sincere. “He’s already hurt me but i’ll be fine. Maybe for yours and Travis’ sake he won’t want me as much after I lost his kid.” She said nonchalantly popping a snack in her mouth.

“Good, because I can’t have a traveling companion who is only going to drag me down. Especially if we happen to encounter some cute traveling guides.” Erin giggled sliding a little ways so that she was now pressed against her sister. “I like the sound of that. Travel the world and find out what a real man is like.”

“What you think I would be the one to drag you down when there’s boys involved?” She scoffed. “Please, I would love to see the day.” She joked nodding her head with a big smile. “Mhm but until then you’re just going to have to settle for the men around this town. Just don’t trust them.”

He looked down at her as she cut through. Part of him knew that this was wrong, but it was all he knew. Girls doing drugs with him, and him being too high to think about his morals. Normally, it would be way different with her- but he was different himself. He slid his hands onto her arms, slowly brushing down before her comment. He reached into his back pocket, pulling out the hundred dollar bill and rolling it thin enough handed it to her.

“Honestly… come to think of it, I haven’t even seen Nathan in a while… since you left actually. I mean I saw him once… yeah, he came into SDS for what I assumed was a pick-up…” She bit her lip at the mention of Zac. “N-no. He left too. He was gone for a week. I mean not gone- like that… just I don’t know. He’s acting… weird.”

“Oh..” She shrugged it off, raising a brow as Lily spoke about Zac. “What kind of weird like he might be cheating kind of weird or? Ew what if he’s cheating with that hoe.” She wrinkled her nose up in disgust. “Why was he gone?”

“Oh my god! Don’t bring that up!” Erin laughed loudly, falling over on her side due to her fit of laughter. The memory in itself was enough to cause her a pain in her side. It had been a horrible experience. “Oh, trust me you could.” Erin replied as she continued to lay on the floor. No point in getting up. “If I can survive and make my way through a foreign country, then you can too. Plus, think of all the men we can meet.”

Logan couldn’t help but start laughing again simply because of how much Erin began to. “I might not have been in the middle of nowhere but I did go backpacking and that’s enough for me to know I can survive.” She smiled moving down to lay beside Erin on the ground. “We could have our own Eat. Pray. Love but instead it would be Eat. Fuck. Sleep.”

“Oh they weren’t offering candy? That makes me feel much better.” She laughed. “Tell me that they at least asked you to help look for their dog?” She added, leaning forward against the counter. “Things happen. Sometimes it makes us question the world, it makes us question ourselves but-” Still, something wasn’t making sense. “I just- I am sorry I keep bringing it up it’s just you and Nathan were always such good friends. He was always here… eating our food, hitting on…. me.” She added, looking at the counter like she was looking directly at the memory. “I always thought you two would be a thing… but then when you guys never did end up together I thought okay well obviously that won’t happen….but it did happen?”

“They didn’t have a dog...” She frowned. “Or else I totally would’ve helped them find it and then kept it for myself.” The corners of her lips turned up into a smile which quickly faded making her expression look more blank, thinking of everything her mother was saying. “It probably shouldn’t have happened.” She said looking down at the ground. “Seems like bad things happen when we’re getting into it and half of the time we’re making the bad things happen to each other. I know you don’t like him and after everything that happened he might just go back to being the guy in everyone else’s bed but mine, realistically, so it’s fine you don’t have to worry about him being your son in law or anything.”

Thomas laughs “it’s seven somewhere in the world” he shrugs. “Besides, your looking at the poster child for needing to have a drink before nine am” he teases. “You get used to the stares, what’s on your mind Cousin.”

“You’re the poster child?” She cocked her head looking at him amused. “Oh how times have surely changed.” She smiled shrugging her shoulders. Mentioning what had her wanting to drink was like asking for a talk about life, which she didn’t need anymore than she had. “I think we should get drunk. Right now. Like you said, it’s seven somewhere in the world.”

Nathan side eyed her, raising a brow. “Uhm…why? Why would you need to be doing it on your own? and when will you be on your own?” He asked, blinking. “Y’know what- nevermind.” He placed the contents of the bag out onto the table and pulled the blade to cut it, slowly showering her how to break it up. “Point is to be very slow, and careful. Don’t smooth it down too much, but also don’t make it too thick.”

She was thinking of a response and when she realized it didn’t matter what her reasoning was he waved the topic away making her relax again. “Seems simple enough.” She stated looking down at how he made the lines. She slid off the couch onto her knees between his legs taking the blade from him and trying it for herself. Stopping a few seconds later she looked at him over her shoulder. “Now give me a hundred dollar bill, only something like that is worthy of being used to do this.” She teased.

“Wait, wait, wait… you were surrounded by built, HOT guys…and you didn’t- oh man.” She said scrunching her face playfully. “I guess you and Natey bear are more serious than I thought… well, good for you. Both of you.” She said smiling but widening her eyes at the pills. “You took pills from strangers? Bad girl.” She laughed. “But… I mean- those… you’re not like using them because you’re sad, right? Well that was a stupid question but you’re being careful, yeah?”

“I know! I’m a little disappointed in myself.” She frowned then shook her head. “What? Nathan had nothing to do with me sleeping with them...honestly I expected to get back and hear about how he’s fucked half the town again.” She shrugged nonchalantly smiling at the bag then walking over to sit back down. “I’m fine Lils, I’m just using these to be even more fine.” She lied setting them down on the table. “Anyway, you and Zac? Having crazy sex right?”

He let her tug his face around, still to dazed to move out of her reach. “And you’re pretty.” He stated, letting a smile tug at the corner of his lips. “I can’t recall if I have.” He said with a shrug of his shoulders. Already he felt like he needed to shoot up again, but he couldn’t let her know about that. Instead, he took a step back, reaching into his back pocket for the bag of weed. Instead, he grabbed the bag filled with coke as he pulled it out. “Oh…. oh well. Want to do a line?”

“Uh-huh.” Her eyes fell onto the bag and she scrunched her nose up at the thought of snorting that but when she thought of the feeling it would bring her eyes shot to his. “I’ve got nothing better to do.” She smiled turning on her heel to walk over to the  living room, clearing a section of the coffee table for him. “You can’t judge me for how I react I’ve never done a line of this stuff. Wait wait..” Plopping down on the couch she looked at him happily. “Teach me how to separate it you know, in case next time I have to do it on my own.”
