I took vacation next week, thinking we are done with the worst heat. Turns out, next week is gonna be a fucking inferno again. Sucks to be me I guess. But eh, I'll just make the best out of it. Definitely recharging my small table ventilator that has water inside, preparing ice cubes to put in there and hoping for the best.
Tomorrow is supposed to be pretty comfortable at least, so I'll try to reply to posts in my drafts and my inbox during that day. I'm not feeling particularly social still. That said, I just give in to the urge to delete the post I did yesterday again because I think it was a terrible idea to put out there with how I still have to catch up drafts and inbox things and how low-energy I am at the moment.
And I think my threads are not that terrible in terms of having action and plot anyway? Idk? I dunno why I thought I'd have to post a plotter call and push changes when A) No energy and B) it is in hindsight not even necessary. And C) I suck in plotting, I just hate it. It's this awkward 'do you have any ideas' and 'which muse/s do you want' and 'where do we start', and all this back and forth that goes rarely anywhere anyway in the end or takes fucking forever at least because timezones are shit... I hate it. There, I said it.
I can and will write fights when things come up in threads, that's not the issue. The only issue is me still not wanting to have my muses fight muses of my partners. I prefer pummeling stupid NPCs. And I know other partners feel the same way so *shrug emoji*
Idk why I thought whatever I thought yesterday, but writing fights as such is something I am not shy or afraid about, I don't mind darker threads either tbh, it just rarely gets there. I am more insecure or concerned about how far to push the plot on my end usually, that's the only thing I always really worry to a point of taking forever to reply. Am I giving my partner enough, is the reply offering enough, or is it too much?... that kind of shit..
