draws mostly girls

So I finally drew something again! It's been really long, even when you count my sketchbook 😥 For artfight and bc I love @mahouwl and her characters. 💕

New drawing is on the left! The original I made for artfight in 2019 and I really love it still, but I wanted to try to give her a makeover!

 as my friend said: why not continue the princess theme with Belle! 📚📖

Honestly so many characters would look good with shorter hair... but I only have a little time with exams going on 😭

Another Rapunzel because I didn’t know what to draw and my friends had a wonderful suggestion! @aprildrawing‘s challenge was paints, so this sorta kinda fits yesss 🎨🎨🖌

I feel like she matches Rapunzel from last year quite nicely 🥰

For the prompt beginning for @aprildrawing I went for Juniper moving into a new place! Seems fitting for a new start for her! 💕

@space-glitter-gay suggested we draw our ocs in this wonderful outfit by @misswynn, because somewhere right in the middle of their dressing styles.

Instead @mahouwl suggested I draw cure Flora and yes! Who doesn’t love Cure Flora? 🌺💕

The reality is just that I enjoy drawing girls and it’s my standard which I always return to, would love to branch out but it’s a struggle and drawing is meant to be fun to me. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Instead I drew the wonderful Galathea who was created by @space-glitter-gay. I’m finally getting her nose right but drawing curls is still a big struggle. 🌌 🌟

I missed yesterday, so to post something today I’m sharing this wip! Hopefully this will turn into something eventually! 😊

I usually really only tackle hands when I need them and sometimes it turns out well and sometimes it’s a mess. I like using references though, and sometimes to first trace it and then draw it. It lets me figure out which lines I find important ahead of time, without confusing information like shadows and details I don’t need.  🤚 ✍️

I think this is probably the 20th time I’ve tried to draw her, she never turns out right, but I actually love this sketch! 💙💙
