Penelope hasn’t even been developed enough as an individual character for her death to make sense at this point. The only person she has a connection with on the show is Josie and somewhat MG. So her death would really not be that impactful if it happened right now. 

Plus there has been no hints from the cast or showrunners that a death is coming up. Then there was that IG live where Quincy and Kaylee straight up denied Penelope dying. They would’ve just avoided the comment if it actually were happening.

But to address what you said, Beronica is not the reason I hate B*ghead. 

I hate B*ghead bc of the complete erasure of Jughead being aroace in the comics - and before I get another message about how “that was only in one comic” or whatever else shippers use to defend it just stop. Of course they weren’t going to label Jughead that 75 years ago when those terms didn’t even exist but he was always written that way and it’s comic canon now so it’s erasure no matter how you spin it. Ship what you want but at least own that. If they were going to erase that part of Jughead they could’ve,at the very least, made him gay and gave another minority group representation instead of straightwashing him.
