Three weeks!!

Ringing in 28 was definitely not how I would have celebrated in my early twenties. I am so thankful to have this guy in my life who holds me to a higher standard because he believes in me and knows my capabilities. I have found an entirely different level of happiness and enjoyment by being with Garrett! Shopping for a couch for our new apartment and dinner out made this birthday even better. My loyal Darby Cards client, burger bud, brother in Christ, and future husband, thank you for inspiring me and most of all, loving me! ❤️

This little girl was the life of the party at my bridal shower a couple weekends ago! If she couldn't be any cuter, my sister put her in a hot air balloon dress to remember our amazing hot air balloon engagement pictures!

We were handed the keys to our new apartment today! I won't be moving in until April so Garrett gets to metaphorically and please please please not actually, break in all the lovely wedding gifts we've received!!

Now this is sweating for the wedding!! We kicked off Valentine's weekend with a special "bring him to barre" class at Village Barre! We had a great time working out together...the champagne was definitely earned!!

Bachelorette trip is right around the corner! Can't wait to spend a couple days with my girls in Rosemary!

2nd graders throw the BEST engagement shower :-) I am incredibly blessed every Sunday to spend time with these wild and crazy and amazing kids. Their wedding wishes sand jar and hand painted flower pots are gifts we definitely treasure.My sweet and extremely thoughtful co-teacher put this party together to celebrate Garrett and I...such a surprise, SO much love. :-) <3

Ring a ding-ding!! The ringing of bells before or during a wedding ceremony dates back a long time ago (think Celtics) and is still a well known tradition in weddings today! After the flower girls have showered the aisle with petals, the "bell ringer" sounds his or her little bell to announce the bride's arrival! This tradition of announcing the bride's big moment has taken a modern twist with sweet little banners or wood signs that say "Here comes your (input flattering word here!) bride uncle Harry!" As a girl who fancies old world ways, I had a pewter bell engraved with our married monogram to ring during the ceremony and as a keepsake to hopefully hand down to the next Locklear generation! We are so excited to have Garrett's nephew Kai as our bell ringer!
