i think the thing that really gets mes about riddlehat is that its just so…easy to imagine them reforming over it?? like, perhaps eddie doesnt NEED batman to find an intellectual equal….and perhaps jervis doesnt have to live a fantasy to find happiness <3 (aslo ik in your og post you mentioned eddie having to keep himself from proving hes superior to jervis but tbh i actually dont think btas eddie is that type of riddler? mind you i might just be talkin crazy, as im not as familiar with btas riddler as i am with btas hatter, but from watching eddies main 3 episodes, i dont really get the impression his goal is to be "the smartest man in gotham" like a lot of his depictions, to me it feels like eddie wants someone to match wits with. or at least thats what i get from watching riddlers reform. hes compelled to play these games, bc i think he wants to be challenged intellectually. or thats what im currently theorizing, more research might need to be done on btas eddie, but ultimately i think he could find that fulfillment in jervis. bc if theres anyone who could keep up with eddie, i think it would be jervis (i mean the alice books are basically Wordplay: The Books so lol). its also why i keep having the juicy scenario in my head where eddie, curious of his friends capibilities, challenges to play riddle of the minotaur. and jervis actually manages to beat it. though that might be me giving jervis too much credit since apparently No One had even beaten it according to robin in the 2+ years the games been out but i digress bc i feel like eddie listening to jervis explain excitedly how much effort and work he put in to figuring out RoTM makes him have his oh shit i love this man moment LMAO)

It’s high time our boy Jervis got his own fan week. I’m not aware of anyone else organizing one, so I figured I’d try to rectify that. Now I’ve never started a fan week (or even participated in one,) so please please PLEASE share any ideas/suggestions/etc you have with me.
I want this to be a week of love for all the Hatters, sweet Hatters, dark Hatters, evil Hatters, crazy Hatters. Any and All! Give me your art/fics/headcanons/fan edits/cosplay/all of it. I am going to keep this open to mature themes/art/writing but will tag it as such. I just want to encourage more fanworks in this world. The darling @birusoda suggested we could have it coincide with October 6th, which in America would be written 10/6. As much as I LOVE that idea (it’s pretty perfect) it feels like Tetch is having a bit of a moment on here and I’d hate to see that momentum go to waste. (That and I’m impatient and October feels AGES away even if it isn’t.) But it’s not about me, so I’m going to put it to a vote:
