besides that i'd also say not to be afraid to lean on references to help you learn. some people get really weird about that but it absolutely could not be me lol, they're my best friend. as long as you're not stealing anyone else's artwork or just line by line tracing, doing things like sketching basic shapes or guidelines over a ref can be very helpful if you're struggling with anatomy or proportions
