We deserve more than a tortured traumatic story that ends only at learning to not hate ourselves. We deserve more than privileged writers telling us what we should settle for. We deserve more than being used as a puppet to teach your audience a lesson. We deserve more than being constantly treated differently than all your other straight characters. We deserve a meaningful on screen queer relationship between main characters. We deserve to not constantly be thrown a random side character our way in the name of simply introducing a love interest with almost no depth. We deserve more than constant ambiguity and teasing as a means for financial gain. We deserve honesty and to be taken seriously for wanting a love story. We deserve more than settling for platonic love and giving up on romantic love. We deserve just as much as straight people and we should not be expected to be happy with just our friends and family accepting us.

And most of all we do not deserve to be used as a toy for your plot twist or your anticipation while you sit there laughing at us and encouraging hateful behavior towards the people who simply believed in something better.

Whether byler is endgame or not, we were used. Used as pawns for their game just so they could teach us a lesson and make money. They don’t care that they purposefully tried to make us look delusional. They don’t care that they mocked us in interviews. And they definitely won’t care about our disappointment because they’re too busy worrying about the people this show presents as villains.

We only have eachother and we need to stick together. So don’t back down and don’t settle once again.

I love this community and In 15 mins the time will be here. I will miss the theories and the fun and I hope we can one day come out on the other side, even if it’s not with this show.
