I'm sorry to be so alarmist - but i have been made aware that there is a blog posing as me and asking people, including mutuals, for money and banking details... as well as directing them to contact a fake Tumblr support link to do so...

I was contacted by a mutual who fell for this scam and reported me, thinking I'd been hacked... whilst I'm frustrated that they didn't speak to me first... I am working to resolve this with Tumblr support and have resolved the issue with the mutual (no harm no foul I can understand their panic)

Please do not respond to any weird links claiming to be me - I would NEVER ask for any money or personal details under any circumstances. This is not me. People claiming to be associated with me and asking for any kind of money are not associated with me nor have i asked them to speak on my behalf. Please reach out to me via inbox if someone has contacted by you. I am collating 'evidence' for tumblr support to stop the investigation of my account...

Please do not report my blog. (You can report the user who messages you about me as spam - they have more than likely unfortunately been hacked)

tumblr Support is aware of the issue and working to restore anyone impacted. Please do not follow any instructions given to you by anyone if messaged.

They may provide a fake support link or ask for your name/email do not give that information.

I’m so incredibly sorry to anyone caught up in this I had no idea this person was using my blog name to do these things!

To be starkly clear I have full control of my account- I was never hacked there was a person impersonating me asking for money and personal details from followers and mutuals - they have since been removed by tumblr and the impacted blogs are being assisted by tumblr support.
