iKON Truly Owned Stage on Inkigayo, Making it Hard to Believe They’re a Rookie
[일간스포츠=황미현 기자] iKON put on a perfect stage for their first TV appearance.
On SBS’s Inkigayo on October 4, which was aired from 3:35 PM, iKON performed “AIRPLANE” and “RHYTHM TA”.
iKON started their special stage when the show was nearing its end. They sang “AIRPLANE” first wearing casual but unique costumes. They were relaxed and sang the song with emotion. They were not only technically good but also good at expressing their feelings while singing.
The “RHYTHM TA” stage was fierce. iKON wore black and white costumes and showed off their hip hop swag. When BOBBY started rapping, fans cheered loudly.
They did not seem at all nervous. They only sang two songs but they demonstrated that they are good at performing various genres of music including hip hop, ballads, and dance music.
After receiving the trophy for becoming No.1 on the last week’s charts, iKON said, “Thank you for giving this trophy to a group that has just debuted. We will work harder from now on.”
On October 3, iKON held their debut concert “SHOWTIME” at Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Stadium and attracted 13,000 fans. Press from in and out of Korea came to watch the debut of a super rookie.
CNBLUE, iKON, Red Velvet, Ailee, GOT7, LOVELYZ, December, Soyou X Kwon Jeong Yeol, Monsta X, UP10TION, Seventeen, April,Roh Ji-hoon, Dia, Jjarimongttang, 2eyes, and 24K appeared on SBS’s Inkigayo on September 4.
