Fallout Equestria: Lk10Lenny

So, my grandfather's recovering well. I know I didn't update you all on his doctors visit, but they claimed to have completely removed the cancer cells from the effected areas. Not only that, the roof repairs are taken care of any their house no longer leaks! For now at least.

I am still helping them recover from the stress, as well as decompressing myself. As such, though I was ready to get back into a weekly post, it may not actually be a thing anymore. Life hits you when you least expect it.

Guess the return was just not in the cards this year. I'll be working on other projects while saving up money again. Sorry about this. Feel like I did a bait and switch for those who were looking forwards to a come back.

Starting the new year off strong. So, grandparents having water damage in the roof. Having to help them deal with that.

Not only that, my grandfather officially has skin cancer. Its early stages but is in skin sores that bleed in his hands and nose. So, also having to help get his hospital prep done up.

After dealing with my sick mother, I am feeling like this year is trying VERY hard to kick me in the dick. However, I’m still alive and I’ll just be slow in uploads. (Not that I am already not slow)

Here, we observe our subject finding a light source. A collapsed ceiling in the sewer structure. Unlike some fungus, Fungeling can endure bright sun conditions for a limited time. Some Fungelings will seek out sunlight and bask in the rays for a limited time. However, during peek hours, or when exposed to bright lights, Fungelings have shown a negative reaction. This particularly colorful subject, perhaps developed an appreciation for the smoggy light of Hoovesiana. Perhaps they could find better hunting conditions on the surface rather than in the dark tunnels. Then again, the surface comes with it's own risks making the decision not so black and white.

Here we see a wandering fungeling, deep in the sewers. They trudge on, looking for any form of rotting detritus or flesh for them to consume. Their bright colors, a rare acceptation to many of their kind, ruin what little stealth the infected changeling would have had. Even in the dark, their brighter, more pastel like pallet, can easily be seen in any sort of light. Though they possess two sets of eyes, fungelings are not known to possess great vision, though it is not much of a problem in the darkness of the sewers. Their sense of smell will be dulled by the pungent sent of the sewage around them, leaving their hearing as the only sense they truly can rely on. Will such a being be able to find food down in the refuse piles, or will they fall prey themselves to any number of stronger predators down in the sewage?

I had an old sprite of if Lenny was a potato boi. Decided to do a rework of it. Potato boi Len could be used for Stalker, Fallout, or other post apocalyptic things.

After all, where would Lenny actually go? The exploded Stable? The infested outpost full of those fungus things? Perhaps the middle of the Hoovsiana swamp where those flaming tar beasts are to dance in the moonlight?

Yes Lenny, let's tell them about what you were told to do and are currently not doing so you can wiggle your brows at anything with a pulse... The "Boss" Lenny met was this rather chunky looking pony in a wheel chair with at least 15 other ponys acting as body guards. Most of which are luckily off screen. Finding out the boss is named Sweet Biscuits made them sound rather nice but it turns out he was anything but... "It seems to me that you have not only killed a number of my men, but have also been makin' a name for yourself little blue... so, I'mma be blunt with you like a lead pipe against the head. You are carryin' something that my client wants. Since I don't want to deal with their little exchange, and since you apparently like running packages, you are gonna take care of this for me. You do this, and I forgive part of your crimes against me. I'll even consider lettin' you keep your teeth." While the Big Biscuit sits there trying to look less like a sweaty cake on wheels, Here clicks her tongue as Sweet continues. "Little boy blue over there puts on a smile. Takes the payment, hands over whatever it is the client wants, and that's that. Heck, he may be meetin' with the Aristocrats like he wanted soon if he does this right." Well Lenny, I know you are attempting not to have PTSD over having an angry boss yelling at you about your failures, but we do need to decide what to do.

Quest marker? You act as if Lenny had an idea where he was going in the first place. Lenny takes a moment to check on his friends. Roachelle is currently loafing. Still as lazy as ever, even after transforming into her true form. Lenny wiggles his eyebrows as instructed. Roachelle chuckles and looks directly at the camera, as if knowing you told him to do so. Mean while, Here Heart comes in off screen and looks just as annoyed as ever. Like a wife who married an idiot. "Hey, Glue boy. It's time to get movin'. Boss wants... What in the world are ya doin'? Damn it, are those voices tellin' ya things again? I knew we should have tossed that damn defective wrist watch." It appears everyone we have not killed is still alive and well. Lenny wiggles his eyebrows at Here, who, immediately rolls her eyes. I think Here doesn't like the 'voices' much, Lenny. I tend to agree more with her than those that tell you to dance with mutants and get shot.

It has been a while, Lenny. How have you been? Oh, don't you look at me with that smug smile. What are you suggesting? No, I didn't miss you. How could I miss you and your adventure of licking cars and getting shot? Just tell me what you have been up to. I see. More licking random things to make them yours and finding a new job down in the slums. So that means you have a new boss then? I bet he is just as terrible as your first boss. You remember, right? The robot who caused you terrible trauma? I remember. Well, I suppose the only thing we can do now is figure out what to do next... Not like anyone is still connected to these systems or anything.
