been talking to a friend about some anti-pride bullshit that had been going down lately in my hometown. one major local hot headed pastor had been talking shit and disparaging our library for having a table at pride this year, and it’s just awful to see. like at this point, is this religious literature you’re yelling about come from a place of genuine compassion for the lgbtq community, or do you just want to see them annihilated?? because that’s no longer the work of Jesus, and you’re just playing the devil’s advocate, which is extremely ironic. Like I promise you that your God is bigger than you give him credit for. He’s got this. You don’t have to play his part.
