Witchy Hornets

(All my oneshots and little drabbles of a child reader are gender neutral by the way!)

Snow sprinkled the ground, the sky was a bright white as the sparkling fluffy flakes floated down. Your breath was visible as you walked slowly through the 2 feet (60 CM) of snow. Your hands stung and were tingling painfully from frostbite, your shoes were soaked through and almost frozen, around your legs too was just the same condition. You weren't in winter appropriate clothing, as your foster parents had kicked you out after an argument. Sleepiness crept up on your and was tugging at your eyelids, which you knew was dangerous due to the temperature. If you were to take a seat and close your eyes, you wouldn't ever wake up. It was also sweaty and hot, which was another sign of hypothermia was taking you strongly by the throat. A house in the distance was your savior, but it was a little too late as you could barely trudge through the snow any longer. Maybe you could lean against a tree just for a moment and close your eyes for a second.

"Look up, sweetheart. I don't want to get any in your eyes."

Your head looked up at the ceiling as Midas gently rinsed conditioner out of your hair. Just earlier you'd had the living daylight beaten out of you at school and you were sitting in the bathroom with a towel wrapped around you to avoid getting your clothes wet.

"You're okay," You felt him kiss your forehead once you sat up fully so he could pat your hair dry, which made you sniffle and struggle to hold back sobs, "They're suffering now for what they did to you." Once the appropriate hair care was out of the way, you spent your time sobbing into his shoulder as he hugged you. To his employees, Midas was a cold emotionless boss. To you? He was your loving father.

"I'm so ugly, and.. and so stupid.. I deserved it." You shakily whimpered this between sobs. Midas became silent, his grip around you tightened dangerously and you knew this meant someone was about to die. "(Y/n), I know you won't take this seriously because I'm your father and you assume I'm only saying this because I have to, but beauty is a social construct. There is no such thing as ugly, just horrible people who say horrible things. And, you are only stupid to the education system, but I know plenty of people who are smart in their own ways."

You sniffled as you felt his hand cup your cheek, it was warm and genuine. "Can we go watch a movie?"

"(Y/n)?" Arthur called this out and looked around, "(Y/n)." He paused at the his baby sister's doorway, she looked at him forlornly.

"What's wrong?" He walked in slowly, shutting the door behind him, "You didn't even shut your door."

Arthur was taken aback at the silence as his eyebrows raised, he slowly pulled up a chair and sat in it backwards; he faced her gently with a soft composure, "It's okay, you can tell me."

There was silence as (Y/n) thought for a moment, coming up around 11-12 years old, "You promise you won't laugh at me?"

Arthur seemed a lot more curious, "Of course, I promise."

(Y/n) thought and shyly hid her face, "I think I could be dying," She stood off her bedside and lifted the blanket to reveal a stain of blood, "My servant wouldn't take my sheets, he looked at me funny and said to talk to a female servant."

Arthur's eyebrows knitted together, now this was something he didn't think he'd ever have to deal with. "Oh- oh. You're not dying, (Y/n)," He gently sighed, "You're a girl, and every girl at some age, start to bleed for a few days, once a month every month."

(Y/n) stared puzzled before she exclaimed, "For the rest of my life?!"

Toby: oh no

Hoodie: oh no

The universe: oh no

FAST APPROACHING FOOTSTEPS

Tim/Masky: WE'RE GOING TO MCDONALD'S IF I DON'T GET MY LIFE TOGETHER??

Rain pattered the sidewalks,the scent of petrichor from the light storm filled the air as well. Jeff walked quietly, wearing a raincoat over his old white hoodie. Admittedly, the hoodie was starting to stink and anything was better than the smell of death that came from it.

He had no idea where the hell he was, he’s worn a face mask to cover his mouth and the hood over his head. Hiding from police was tough, especially that he’d found himself in a big city. Although it was a lot better than lurking through forests and finding himself covered in ticks the next day. There were puddles on the sidewalk he walked along, with large skyscrapers and buildings packing each street side as well; cars raced down the road, luckily he hadn't been splashed yet.

Glancing up from his feet as he walked, he found himself stopped at a beat-up entrance to an apartment complex. Curiously, he opened the door and was greeted with air conditioning that was a better feeling to the humid hot air outside that accompanied the rain. He dried his feet off on the mat that sat just by the entrance door, he looked around to see the inside. It was a brick-walled lobby with several old chairs sitting around with a large wall of mailboxes sitting just by a stairwell. No elevators, which sucked ass in his opinion, as he made this observation.

The mailboxes gave an excellent telltale sign of which apartments were not empty so that he could pick off his next victim. There was 6 full mailboxes, each named accordingly with numbers to the apartments. There was a room on the first floor he knew would be an easy start as he heavily disliked stairs.

Making his way up the old metal stairs that made a loud creaky noise with each step, he noticed just how run down the building was. 'Damn, this place is a drug-hole. Nobody's gonna miss any of’ these fuckers at all.’ He thought this smugly, as he walked to the door of the victim in which he'd chosen out. Fortunately there weren't any security cameras, so he knelt down and pressed his ear to the door. The sound of a shower running was his opportunity, he was quiet and quick to pick the lock with a set of bobby-pin that he had DIY-ed into lockpicks.

Inside the apartment was shitty stained wallpaper, with old couches with disgusting stains on them and beer bottles stacking up on the floors. Jeff gazed all over when he paused at a large puddle of blood staining a hard-tile floor just adjacent from the bathroom door, his eyes widened slightly as he looked up to see that it belonged to someone. A body laid on the ground in the said puddle, it was butchered maliciously with clown makeup added on seemingly after the victim had been killed. As much as he was used to seeing bodies, this was just plain gross to him.

Footsteps echoed from the bathroom as a door opened, Jeff whipped around and gripped the knife that sat on his belt. A growl emitted from deep in his throat which soon turned into a terrified whimper as a man who seemed 6 foot or taller approached. That wasn't too scary, but the fact that the same man had his face stapled on while wearing a circus ringmaster outfit was the horrifying part.

Masky: I'm eagle one.

Masky: Hoodie is "Been there, done that."

Masky: Skully is "Currently doing that"

Masky: Toby is "It happened once in a dream"

Masky: Jane is "If I had to pick a girl"

Masky: Jeff is... eagle two

Masky: I don't have a son??

Alex: Then who tf is this kid sitting here losing an argument with himself?

Masky, 167 cm: I will tie your shoelaces together you MF-

Toby, 168 cm: HAH I'M ONE CENTIMETER TALLER. YOU ARE THE INFERIOR PROXY

Skully: ...no?

Hoodie: Good! What about you, Masky, you free then too?

Masky: Huh? Oh, uh, yeah?

Hoodie: GREAT! I'm not. You two should go get some dinner together.

Masky: It's cold!

Jay: nice cup of coffee

Masky: it's disgusting!

Jay: cup of coffee

Masky: I don't even think this is coffee!

Hoodie: what baby???
