Stalled and ignorant to most of it all; the sudden halt through communication, not speaking at all.

Stuck on the side of missing the flaws, although I'm forcing myself to hate your guts.

It's undeniably bitter, almost tart, but cinnamon charred caramelize encases- never misses a spot.

but our story is much more layered and tethered together than I can properly muster up to confess to you.

i’m the mighty river that pushes past the rocks & debri

& you’re the one thirsty

the one on your last breath

but i’d be different,

i would gladly sacrifice anything for your garden,

to save your flowers

to save yourself

from yourself.

you wouldn’t give me any gratitude

but you’d be sure to give me a half-assed

if i were the giver,

i wouldn’t be it for long

until i had no more

well what do you do when thousands of swimming pools filled with water

are dumped in your backyard

you don’t scoop the water out

or try and move it

you let it dry

let it run its course

we don’t ask for even half of the stuff

that happens to each & every one of us

it just happens

you can change your own fate if you’re daring enough

if you have the patience & focus

what’s the fun in that though

everything happens for a reason

whether it’s for a good or bad reason is all up to you

life is based off perceptions

we all have unique & different ones

all contributed to the way we were raised & who we become

i don’t think anyone really knows who they truly are

but the whole thing about living is trying to figure it out

growing up is fucking scary

the rain as piano,

creating a melody for the three to come together in harmony
