It hurt the most that you left me when I was most lost in my life. I couldn’t live up to your expectations, I couldn’t become who you wanted me to be. You got over me in 6 months even though you’d say I was your soulmate and we’d be together forever. I wonder if those words ever haunt you. You don’t say I love you to your new girlfriend & your smile doesn’t reach your eyes like it did with me. I have to wonder what you have with her and if she’s just a fill in, will you break her heart too? I know that god has a plan and you weren’t the one for me. I don’t even miss dating you. I just miss the memories and the person that was my best friend. I still truly wish you the best and I know that shows who I truly am.

Sometimes I wish I could’ve just ran and never looked back but that’s exactly what you did and guess what, I’m not a coward like you. Never was and never will be. Good luck when it all catches up with you sweetheart. At least I faced my demons head on.
