BIOGRAPHY

Olivia’s life has been anything but easy. Born to a teenage mother who raised her alone in Hackney, Olivia has always had to fight twice as hard as anyone else for anything she’s wanted. All her life, people have been telling her nothing good would ever come of her, and all her life it’s been driving her to succeed. Graduating from college was one of the biggest milestones of her life, as she had been waitressing long hours to support herself and her mother alongside her study. Shortly after, she took a position bookkeeping and paid for dialect lessons to improve her “rough” accent. Upon quitting her waitressing position when her boss tried to come onto her, she found a job as a receptionist at a law firm and quickly rose through the ranks to become personal assistant to the director. 

Fashion has always been Olivia’s true passion, so with a friend’s urging, she applied for the position of junior PA to Cecilia York a year ago. At the interview, Cecilia, liking the girl’s determination, hired her. When Cecilia’s senior PA quit, Olivia was her natural successor. The first time Olivia touched a haute couture piece, she began to cry, as she had always been denied entry to the fashion houses she had loved so much when she was younger. This cemented her friendship with Cecilia, and the two have the utmost respect for one another. Cecilia appreciates her honesty and dedication, and feels very blessed to have her as an employee. 

Because of her tough upbringing, Olivia is resilient and determined to overcome any and all obstacles in her path. She doesn’t have any patience for weak people or those who can’t stand up for themselves. The most treasured moment of her life was when she paid the bond on her expensive apartment in Bloomsbury, and brought her mother out of their squalid Hackney apartment and into their new place, changing both of their lives forever.
