In a world where light flickers dim,
A door closes softly,
My lifeline slips through fingers,
Like sand in an hourglass,
Time is running out.
Pills that once whispered hope,
Now lie scattered in empty bottles,
Promises of better days are lost in the shuffle,
Voices that were once silenced resurrect from their Graves in my mind.
What now?
Caught in a storm of thoughts,
Swept away in a tide of gray,
The struggle to rise each morning,
Heavy with the weight of unspoken fears.
The sun still rises,
But shadows linger longer,
And laughter echoes like a distant dream,
As friends' smiles dim beside the darkness,
Unknowing of the battle within.
Where do I start,
To piece together what was lost,
To find the strength inside,
To continue, despite the ache,
To bloom again in forgotten soil?
Each breath is a step,
A fragile thread binding the past,
And even as I wade through despair,
I remember the warmth of the sun,
And that there is still tomorrow,
With whispers of hope to guide me.
