Creepy Clowns - It’s really no wonder that coulrophobia, a fear of clowns, is a relatively common fear, and this footage of clowns caught on CCTV show exactly why. In 2014, menacing clowns were popping up in residential areas of Jacksonville, Florida. This bizarre and downright creepy craze began in California where students took to dressing up as clowns for a photography project, but from there, it escalated and pranksters began to dress up in clown costumes to terrorise local residents. These sinister looking characters would mysteriously show up on side walks and even on people’s own porches and behave in a menacing manner, terrifying a lot of locals.
