Tell your partner that you need to be cuddled and reassured and told you're a wonderful person, lover and Dom.

Learning the signs that they have become “socailly exhuasted” and taking them someone solitary for some alone time

Not being upset or jealous if you are not their “never exhuasting” person (some of us have friends who never seem to drain our social battery)

Understanding that you may have to leave some social events early because your little just can’t do it anymore

Knowing that your little may use regression as a way to socailly recharge 

Helping them recgharge by snuggling up and watching cartoons together (no talking, just quiet snuggle time)

Not guilting them over “missed” social opportunities 

Never, ever, forcing them into a social situation 

Understanding that they will need time alone (yes, time alone without you)

Checking in on them while you’re out and about, seeing if their battery is getting low

Being “the bad guy” and ending a playdate early when you notice that your little is close to exhusation 

Creating a code of words or small hand signals so your little can discreetly let you know how they are doing

Having their comfort object(s) handy when you go out

Encourage them to make new friends, but don’t force them

Planning regression dates that are mostly at home or in places that aren’t usually crowded
