I honestly think a Ninjago/LMK crossover could be fun, mostly for the parallels ya know? SWK and Wu are both mentors who've fucked up in life and have helped train a kid to harness their god powers.
Garmadon and Macaque are both the evil, fucked up shadow-power guys who are in some way or form considered brothers to the mentor character, and have taken on mentoring roles to the main character!
Mei and Nya are silly, goofy dudes who will kill you if you piss them off. Lloyd and Mei both have silly, goofy dragon powers. MK and Lloyd both have to bear the weight of immense power and responsibility on their shoulders.
Cole and Sandy are like, super tough and big and strong but they're also the sweetest men you can ever meet.
Tang and Jay (mostly modern Jay though) are more cowardly and easily intimidated, but Tang and Zane are both also smart.
And Kai? Uh. Fuck. Uh, he and Red Son are hot-headed and have fire powers?

“Curse these—“ Tang cut himself off as he stopped his tracks, shaking and stared at the trio. They all were in immediate shock as Mei took a deep breath and grabbed ahold of MK’s wrist, running after Red Son. MK looked at Mei in disbelief as he tried to stopped her, reaching out to Tang’s direction.
MK’s cries were loud but muffled, tears streamed down his face. Mei looking over at the boy in regret but immediately took him down the mountain. MK yelled but it was muffled in the scholar’s hearing.
Tang stared at the ground as he noticed the spike impaled in him, he looked at the trio while tears streamed down his cheeks. Blood dripping down his lips while LBD grinned, he was glad they ran from the danger but hurt how they left him. He coughed out some blood and moved his hand to touch the spike, tears trickling down his face in sadness. But also in agony.
“Such an unfortunate little soul.” LBD said as she lifted the spike up, Tang let out a blood curdling scream, his pulse dying out as he took a couple deep breaths. LBD removed the spike as Tang fell against the floor, the scholar shaking while the blood poured out of his wound. He tried to force himself up but he couldn’t, he was spent.
C’mon… Pull yourself… together, He thought to himself, his arms shaking as his vision went blurry of tears. He needed to get back to them, he couldn’t die yet. Tang reached his arm out and moved his body forward, groaning in agony before he stopped himself. His breathing fading away. He took a deep breath as he rested his eyes, sighing while resting his head on the ground, The others..are counting on you…
Tang kept trying to keeping himself awake, allowing his body to go limp as LBD grinned as a wave of wind swirled around her and disappeared. His slow breathing, Tang wasn’t going to last long, of course. The immediate puddle of blood was draining everything, his life, his motivation. The puddle of blood soaking into his half-white clothing, breathing as he weakly chuckled, slowly closing his eyes.
