Little 'Jim Henson Hour' Things

The music just keeps on rolling along Yeah, I got my friends, and I got my song I'm gonna be living for the rhythm, I can't go wrong As long as the music keeps rolling along!

Just a little doodle/debut of drawing these two for the first time digitally.

If you’ve watched The Jim Henson Hour, you’re familiar with the kiwi bird (yes, Lindbergh’s a kiwi bird) on the right. Less of you know about the pink bird, though. Let me educate you real quick. See this promo pic here?

See that bird in the top right corner? That’s the bird I drew. Wait, is that a yellow polka-dot tie? How/Why did I not pick up on that?

Because the show only lasted 12 episodes, a lot of ideas went un-seen. Like the Electric Mayhem thing in Mexico. But more importantly, this character never really saw the light of day. The only times she actually appeared on the show was during Bean’s “Story Time” segment during episode 3 and on background monitors with Lindbergh, driving around on what I can assume is a red scooter thing.

And because the show was cancelled, we don’t even know her name.

Guess who’s been on a Jim Henson Hour kick again?

Even though Bill might’ve foreseen meeting a being that had similar (but probably “inferior”) powers to him, he didn’t count on him being so annoying on first meeting.

Meanwhile, Waldo’s giggling about the different “dimensions” he and his new buddy have. Waldo’s three-dimensional, and Bill’s two-dimensional.

I see great potential in these two as a duo.
