I AM SO TIRED

Thank you as always! I’m having so much fun redesigning and making family trees for the OC clans I came up with in middle school, thanks to your genetics/family tree videos!

Actually my friend is babysitting a cat rn who is this!! She's the lowest-contrast ticked ginger we've ever seen, and almost all of her ticked is hidden behind the nonagouti black-base, so her only stripes are like 1 on her paw and 2 on her face

Anyway they look like ticked gingers but w/a layer of black-base "over the top," just like any other solid calico :3

Take a moment and ask yourself, a project like this requires a lot of time, money and dedication of resources, why would scientists dedicate that time to something that could just be done by a tree?

The answer is they wouldn't. So that means this claim requires further investigation!

This project is called LIQUID 3, and it's not meant for cities with wide open spaces, it's meant for cities like Belgrade in Serbia. These cities are densely populated and heavily polluted, to the point where pollution actually chokes out current trees and makes creating green spaces difficult.

Liquid 3 was a PhD scientists answer to these problems. The microalgae tank is intended for spaces where you either:

Don't have enough space to plant full trees, or

Don't have enough time to plant trees and wait for them to grow up.

The tank is extremely efficient when you consider the amount of space needed compared to the amount of CO2 turned into oxygen. The tank can operate throughout the winter. And most importantly, it can be quickly set up in areas that desperately need relief from air pollution NOW not in 10 years when trees are done growing. Children currently suffocating on polluted air can't wait for trees to grow, they need to be taken care of now, and Liquid 3 is one of the ways to take care of them. Depending on the species of microalgea used, a number have shown a pretty amazing capacity to pull heavy metals out of the air which is something trees can get choked up by.

The tanks aren't just tanks either! Liquid 3 have solar panels placed on top, they have lighting and mobile phone charging, and they work as public benches. The designers of it want to encourage green spaces where there's room, but where there isn't room or time, Liquid 3 can step in. Realistically, this isn't a replacement for trees. It's replacing boring metal city benches with new, cooler benches that also clean the air (and have at least some heating during the winter).

Not only that, but the microalgea that grows is native to Serbia and all that microalgea has a ton of great uses! It makes for great fertilizer, compost, wastewater treatment, cleaner biofuels and even for helping create new tanks for further air purification. They only require a quick algae divide once a month, and the produced algae can be carted off to where ever it's needed. This makes them effective solutions for areas that can't sustain complex installations.

Jumalanpelko over all is ofc inspired by warriors to some degree, it just is not a warriors fan comic nor is it highly inspired by warriors (like it was at no point a warriors fan comic/au/ect). Kuutamo's family is not inspired by warriors more or less than other stuff in Juma.

The Rule is just a thing I thought cats living like this would have to lessen fighting and it would be a great way to show differences in culture between the cult and cats outside of it. I think it is a great way to show how much harder life without Her is. It is not really inspired by Warrior code and is more a courtesy thing.

you dont need to do research about this, you can look at a strapless bra and immediately intuit that They Do Not Support Your Tits Much. my mother did not own a strapless bra in 1993 at all because she did not need one because she didn't wear anything that was off-the-shoulder or strapless, which is what strapless bras are for. they are to be worn under dresses or tops that have no fabric on the shoulder area, in contexts where showing your bra straps with nothing over them would not be desirable, from a fashion perspective. this can include more casual settings like clubwear, but more often at formal events like proms and weddings where it is considered fancy or simply appropriate not to show your underwear, and also to wear garments that show the decolletage and shoulders. they are almost always uncomfortable, slide down constantly, and generally are only worn for short periods of time in high-demand, high-complexity dressing situations (weddings again being the big one).

some modern strapless bras have rubber or silicon added to the band to grip your skin more and slide down less. this is helpful for grip but causes skin irritation

although the majority of tit-support should come from the band in a correctly-fitted bra, the shoulder straps are an extremely important part of making sure the band does not gradually fall down your torso and the cups dont flip down or collapse

a "longline" bra, bustier, "merry widow" or overbust corset are all strapless boob support options that support from the waist or hips and can be a better option than a strapless bra for formalwear. support from the hips is best, like hiking backpacks, but we've sort of lost a lot of everyday boob technology in the past 150 years.

As a trans girl who once wanted to be a civics teacher, stuff like this is terrifying. As a high schooler, having teachers who are like me would have shown there is a pathway to being a teacher. In this world, if I tried I would be bringing inappropriate questions to children.

My body, my expression, all of it could end up a school board meeting's subject, if not a national debacle. Even though i want to teach high schoolers who are not some subhuman race incapable of thinking about big questions like who they are, I would still be talking to children inappropriately by the mere existence of myself near them.

It's terrifying, I've cried because I can't do what is basically my dream job because I have needs that i want met. I can't do anything about this, no amount of voting will change bias. Trans people are increasingly villainized and any amount of publicity is almost always bad. I'm scared about my future. I don't have a career I want to do where I feel secure with being a trans woman.
