i hope he knows how loved he is, how beautiful he is, how smart and funny he is, the incredible music taste he has, how pretty his eyes are in the sun and when he’s sleeping peacefully, how gorgeous every dip and ridge on his body is, how kind and gentle his soul is, how talented he is, and what a wonderful wonderful human he is

no offense but i’m literally so excited for the next chapter of my life. i’m shedding so much of the dysfunctional old & ready to bring in the new. ik what my potential is & i fully intend to reach it. i used to be afraid to start from the very beginning, but that’s not the case anymore. i am on the verge of so much change & i’m so ready for it

Sometimes I forget that people can only meet you as far as they have met with themselves. If someone is being unkind, they struggle with being kind with themselves. If someone is being closed off, it is because they are having trouble connecting with themselves. Being aware of this reminds me to be patient with myself and others. In order to nurture others in a healthy manner, we must first be able to do that for ourselves.
