imagine christie and christian practicing their creepy twin shtick with each other and in mirrors. sometimes joseph walks by the bathroom with crish in his arms, planning to put the baby down for the evening. he’s tired and almost doesn’t see them, but he stops and walks backwards a few steps. they both turn to him slowly, staring at him. he just groans and continues on to crish’s room while shaking his head.

So I was doing Craig’s route on Dream Daddy and there’s this one part on the second date where you have to look around the park and woods to help find River’s lost stuffed animal. In the end you find Joseph’s kids are the one’s playing with it and once you get the toy back, they leave.
Once they left I saved, made a wrong decision, and then loaded that save.
But the game kind of messed up and then these kids were just everywhere and wouldn’t leave me alone
like they were just
following me
they didn’t even leave when I went in my house
or amanda’s room
i had to wait for a loading screen so they would leave.
I’ve never felt more genuine fear playing a game
I like the thought of the Cahn twins getting along fine with the Christiansen twins, and they don’t find them creepy at all. In fact, they admit that they did creepy things to creep out their mom and dad when they were young and give the Christiansen’s pointers. Craig and Joseph have a talk with their kids about why it’s not nice to scare the neighborhood children
some headcanons i wanna share about the christiansen kids:
because i dont wanna believe that mary would be chill with her kids all having the same goddAMN NAME JOSEPH all the kids have middle names based after the four gospels:

christian mark
christie lucille (luke doesnt work as well)
crish john
i love the idea that mary eventually tries to do better with her kids, not for joseph’s sake but for her own, and asks for robert’s help sometimes
going on that, christie and christian love their uncle robbie who lets them watch as much sci fi and horror as they want as long as they thank everyone in the credits with him
chris just does everything he can to stay out of the way and not bring his parent’s attention to him, that way they won’t have to argue over him
the twins love the dark and horror stuff cause they can’t stand the Perfect American Christian Children™ image they have to project
outside of their family the kids’ll tend to go by their middle names to give themselves a better sense of individuality

I started thinking about Robert interacting with Mary’s kids and I’m gonna cry
Like there’s some emergency where Robert is the only one who can watch them

Remember Robert’s thing about silence? Imagine him saying that to Chris, the kid who rarely talks. Robert and Chris sitting in silence, watching the things around them. Chris finally with someone else other than his parents that won’t pressure him into talking or communicating in ways he uncomfortable with
Robert has an especially soft spot for Chrish because he looks so much like Mary. At first he’s incredibly uncomfortable with holding a baby because he’s afraid he’s gonna hurt it but then Crish just looks at him and baps his face with his little hand and gives him this look of approval and Robert just,,,caves.
