💖 The day ends and it goes quite… They’re asleep. You finally get a moment to breath. To maybe watch a movie or play that game… But it’s quiet. Too quiet. You miss them. Time to go to bed, too, to prepare for another hectic day.

Your caregiver notices as your eyes begin to get heavy and you nod in and out of sleep. They pull you close and ask if you're ready to go 'ni ni', you assure them you're not tired but caregivers know better. They pick you up from their lap and take you to the kitchen where they make you a warm sippy/bottle of milk. Its sweet and fills your little tummy making you even more sleepy. Your caregiver then carries you to your room and changes you into a fresh diaper. It makes you feel clean and safe and even more small now. They then dress you in a cute onesie and give you your paci and favorite stuffie before whispering goodnight and turning out the lights.

💫1. remember crying is okay, and healthy! let it all out if you need to!

💫2. hold your stuffies, they don’t mind how tightly you hold them, they just wanna help you feel better! but make sure to give them extra love afterwards!

💫3. keep comfort items close by! your favorite stuffie, toy, blankie, or a gift that your cherish. i hold a toy that my daddy gave me, it feels like a part of him is with me!

💫4. hydrate afterwards! fill your bottle, sippy, or a cute cup with juice or (preferably) water!

Daddy: Okay, button, you need a break. *daddy voice*

Me: No, there's too much to do.

Daddy: *taking away all the papers* Come color me a picture, princess. You're too little for all this.

Me: Wait... My work... *staring from the pile of papers to the crayons and coloring books*

Daddy: Where's your binkie, button? Did you lose it again?
