“Sorry to hear that. Have you tried drinking a soda? I heard the caffeine helps with headaches”

No. Is there a machine nearby?

Olivia nodded “there’s one right over there” she said pointing just across the courtyard

Oh, thanks! Are they a dollar?

"Yeah I think so" she said "I'm not sure"

“I know right” Olivia said “Are you going to be okay?”

I think so. I’m just sensitive to light right now.

"I know right" Olivia said "Are you going to be okay?"

“Rita.” She smiled back, stripping down to her bathing suit. 

"It nice to meet you Rita" she said kicking off her flip flops

“Well I can meet you at your dorm if you want”

Perfect! I live on the first floor. 

"I will see you there, then."

“You’re welcome. I could bring them to you tomorrow if you want?”

That would be perfect!

"Do you go to the school? I could meet you there, if you want?"

“Yeah I was going to donate them anyway. So why not give them to someone who might need them?”

Oh, okay. I could really use some clothes. Thanks!

“I have some old clothes that might fit you if you want them sweetie?” Olivia offered with a smile

You would really do that?

“Really? Why don’t you have any other good pairs?”

I don’t really have a lot of clothes.

Thanks so much! These are my only pair of shoes. Good pair at least.

“I think it was a pink flip-flop.” She said “it was smaller in size”

"Um... I think I saw one on the stairs" Olivia suggested quietly

“Is it hard? I’ve always heard it is hard” Olivia asked

“It’s not hard. It’s just… time consuming. I don’t know.” She shrugged and smiled softly. 

"Sound boring" she said scrunching up her nose "but congrats on the engagement"
