Last night he mentioned feeling like hes "doing it too much" or being greedy and thats rlly got me thinking.... for me those feelings arise from my trauma, specifically my neglect. I felt greedy for asking for help meeting my base needs-- eating, drinking water, new clothes, not having goddamn lice, etc etc-- and now, when regressing/regressed, shame surrounding meeting needs still arises. That includes the need to regress. Especially coming from a household where childish behavior wasnt really encouraged, least of all my autistic traits. Just something on my mind this morning.
