I’m a ball of stress and exam anxiety.

[04182022] My parents brought my desk from home to my apartment and I'm so happy!! I love this desk (I've had it for about a decade) and the productive space that I'm cultivating in this corner is getting better and better.

btw im reading The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas! it's long overdue on my TBR list but i finally finished it yesterday and although the ending was abrupt i liked the development of the side characters much more than i expected

my neighbour is renovating his apartment, so i had to flee our apartment to get away from the insane noise :-) hence, i worked on my thesis in a coffee shop and the library yesterday.

Remember to take deep breaths and be gentle with yourself the next few weeks! We can do this and we will get through it.

i am currently having two weeks of easter holiday. as my focus is terrible when staying at home, i spend most of my time in the library. the idea of peers judging me pressures me to work :)

i got up before sunrise to go to a lecture held by the director of the doherty institute, professor lewin! she’s also done some work with dr fauci so i was literally starstruck. i had some crepes, went to my anat practical, studied some physiology after and had dinner with friends.

went to a cafe in a new part of town on this day, and journaled a bit about my trip to the Isle of Skye :)

Went for a walk in the rain and intended to do my reading right when I got home, but a certain feline had other ideas.

I have a ton of work to get finished today, but unfortunately have no motivation to do it. Fingers crossed that a walk to get some fresh air and a coffee can help jumpstart my productivity today.
