Blessed are we to receive the Purple One's jolly relative, Uncle O'Grimacey, once more.

It’s a total change of pace, so I guess all of those who’ve been living in the middle of the city are looking for a beach escape. Yes, after college we got claimed and I moved into him and his brothers apartment. I loved it there. Aww it seems like a lot of people also have dogs around here and I love that, I was talking to Blaine about his dog Yoda and he says they all hang out at the dog park together.

That’s true, Florida’s about as different from New York as it’s possible to be!  That sounds really nice, was it tough leaving Philadelphia or were you just excited to be with your Dominant?  There are definitely some lovely dogs around - just be careful which park you go to, because there’s a dog park and a play park, and those are very different experiences.

The little brunettes eyes narrow immediately when Lisette says she doesn’t think she should tell her, back up at the idea of someone fucking with the other girl. “Why?” She quizzed, trying to work out any reason why Lisette wouldn’t want to talk about it. “Was it someone here because you know I’ve got no qualms having anyone who fucks with you. Dominant, sub, switch they’re all equally biteable.”

Lisette frowned.  She really didn’t want to do this, but now that she’d opened her mouth there was very little choice.  Fauna wasn’t about to let it go now, and she didn’t want it to turn into an argument.  “Okay...I’ll tell you, but please no biting her because it wasn’t her fault.  You remember how the headmistress in Ohio used to like..give people random things to do for points that were always horrible?  She gave one of those to Miss Alexis.”

Oh cool! There seems to be a lot of people here either from New York or who’ve lived there at some point. I actually just moved here from there myself, though I’m originally from Philadelphia. Well just let me know when you want to come over and use it and I’m sure we’ll be more than happy to have you, you may have to resist a bit of a surprise cuddle attack from our dog but he’s only little so I’m sure you’ll make it through.

There really do - somehow Florida is a magnet for New York people, I suppose!  Were you living in Florida with your Dominant?  I’ll definitely let you know; and the dog cuddles aren’t a problem, my Mistress has a support dog named Copper who’s my favorite boy in the world and I don’t mind cuddles from another lovely dog!

That’s very fair, I guess I just thought it would come up on the recommendations I got but then I suppose it’s pretty obvious. Are you from a beachy place originally? Or this your first time living near a beach too? I’d offer you the same service… but you’re better not digesting my meals. However I do have a pool that you’re more than welcome to use.

I’m actually not, I’m from New York - so yeah, there’s beaches, but it’s nothing like Florida at all!  So living here has actually been incredible so far.  How about you?  I certainly appreciate that, because who can say no to a nice pool?  Not me, that’s for darn sure.

I absolutely can, though for a beach school nobody has really mentioned the beach that much so I was wondering if it was uncool to hang out there. No, also I don’t get the point of those ‘air’ parts of some of these courses.. why would I want a passion fruit air when I could just eat a passion fruit. Please do bear me in mind, if there a form I need to fill out?

I think probably because everyone was in Mexico!  But the beach is absolutely awesome and it’s absolutely a place you should hang out.  I definitely love it out there.  The airs and the foams are the things that I just don’t understand.  Ha, no, the line isn’t that long and I’m always happy to share!

Honestly all this sand being around makes me think about when I was little and me and my siblings used to take turns lying in the sandbox and playing beach. Absolutely! Honestly I think that’s why some of these fancier restaurants don’t actually taste so good, because they’re so busy being fancy they forget about the love. Both amazing choices, I’m an absolute pasta monster.

Well now you can lay on the beach and really play beach well, right?  I think that’s a really good point, having a michelin star or a james beard award isn’t the same as cooking with love.  Ooh, I’ll keep that in mind if I ever have pasta left over and need someone to share it with!

Fauna laughed. “Well if they heard me then they’d at least have exactly the right flavour of the life I lead.” She teased, and then narrowed her eyes a little. “Who shot their fireworks at you?” The brunette asked, she didn’t feel at all guilty about her own run in with the fireworks since Chris got what was coming to him, but it was another thing. Someone having upset Lisette.

Lisette’s eyes widened.  “Wait...have I honestly never told you that story?  I don’t think I should, Ma.”  The last thing she wanted was to get Fauna upset with Alexis, because neither of them needed that.  Not to mention that it’d likely end with Fauna doing more burpees, and she didn’t need that on her conscience.  “Maybe just forget I said anything.”

A lazy afternoon in the sun is always a treat. Yes I know my limitations but I promise I have talents too, they’re just not as practical as cooking. Well I think loving it is half the battle, my sister Ellie says everything tastes better when it’s made by someone who loves you. Even if it’s just ramen that you’re eating. Well it sounds like you’ve got great passion to me. Do you have a favourite thing to cook?

It really is, and they don’t come around nearly often enough once you grow up, right?  Of course you do!  Everyone’s got talents, and it’s important to celebrate them!  That’s a really good point, actually, love is absolutely an important ingredient in food.  Hmm...it’s tough to pick, but I think either carbonara or chicken pot pie.

I’ve promised myself today I will leave the house and actually check out some of these places, even though the hammock in the garden looks super tempting. Absolutely! The more the merrier. I confess I won’t be there, no matter how hard he tries I have not obtained any of My Lords skills… ramen may be my skill level forever. Are you much of a cook?

I don’t blame you, a hammock in the garden does sound like a pretty amazing way to spend your day.  Oh, that’s completely okay, it’s always okay to know what you’re good at!  I’m definitely not a chef, at all, in any way, but I do love to cook.  My first Dominant had a very specific diet and I had to learn a lot of new techniques and recipes, and cooking for Mistress is one of my favorite things in the world.

Then I’m definitely talking to the right person for recommendations! Honestly I shouldn’t say this but even if you’re not interested in cooking club you should go along to the first meeting because the things he’s been making in the kitchen to teach for the past few days have been so good and I have insider knowledge there’s going to be tasters.

Well I hope so!  Once I get to know you better I can probably be better at recommending things but I try!  Oooh...that is a very tempting offer, actually!  Maybe I’ll see if Mistress would like to come along with me, I’m sure she’d enjoy the tasters as well.

It’s no worries! It’s a pleasure to meet you Lisette have you been on campus long? I was going to try it the other day but I’ll be honest I’m a little spoiled King cooks for me for most meals so I’m used to really amazing food so I got distracted by eating something we had at home.

It’s nice to meet you as well!  I’ve been here for a whole year now, but it’s also my second school - I did a year at the last one as well.  That makes sense!  Why spend the money to eat out when you’ve got a great chef at home?

Is Basil and Garlic good? Italian food is a slightly contentious subject in our home. My Lord used to be a chef you see.
