I AM WIRED! Too much coffee at 9:30 PM.

Today was Upgrade My House Day. I had truck loads of junk to get rid of. Since I don’t use my MC textbooks anymore, I wanted to see if I could sell them on Ebay. I quickly changed my mind when I realized they were already 10 + years old. Eesh... I am old. Most of my clothes didn’t fit me anymore, and my kitchen accessories were falling apart. It feels good now that everything has been replaced and is functioning correctly. I miss my hand-me-downs, but it was time. I did a little fancy feng shui with my furniture, too. BTW, when I move into my future house, those things are going in the trash too. I need to make my place look like a 33-year-old’s humble abode. I’m not 18 anymore.

Gotta go now. I feel a sugar crash coming, and my sister is calling. Zzzzzzzzz...

Attached is a picture of my toilet paper stash I’ve maintained over the last two years-ish. I’m a couponer, so this isn’t a recent pandemic TP stash. My mom’s old sponsor (who we called Grandmother) lived during the depression, so she taught us how to carefully buy and stock things “just in case”. We thought it was ridiculous, but something told me to start saving up on bathroom products. No, I don’t have some sort of stellar intuition about future disasters or pandemics of any sort. I was actually planning on going to the Tennessee cabins a few times this year, and there was no way in hell I was going to buy anything for the place in that same town. It’s a tourist trap, and I refuse to play that game. I’m glad I did it because we are using everything I saved. Way to go Lisa!

It’s been awhile since I’ve gone on a big grocery run. As much as I don’t want to go out, I have to refill my stock before everything goes up again. The prices of paper towels and cleaning products doubled last week. We do not have a lot of money, so I am trying to shop on certain discount days and put the cashier to work with my coupon clippings.

Stay safe, everyone. Whether or not you believe this virus spread is real, please believe that these price inflations are serious and not many of us are working. This too shall pass, so let’s hang in there.
