(WASHINGTON POST) — The White House plans to fight a subpoena issued by the House Judiciary Committee for former White House counsel Donald McGahn to testify, according to people familiar with the matter, setting up another showdown in the aftermath of the special counsel report.

The Trump administration also plans to oppose other requests from House committees for the testimony of current and former aides about actions in the White House described in special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s report, according to two people familiar with internal thinking who, like others interviewed for this story, spoke of the plans on the condition of anonymity.

A celebration of abortion at an event in Seattle by an actress and an abortionist who believes he’s doing God’s work drew attention on Twitter.

Abortion-rights activist and actress Martha Plimpton was on stage with Dr. Willie Parker when she noted the city of Seattle was significant to her, with family members from the area in the audience.

“I also had my first abortion at the Seattle Planned Parenthood! Yay!” she said to applause and cheers.

“Notice I said first. And I don’t want you guys to feel insecure. It was my best one,” she deadpanned to laughter from the audience and from Parker.

“Heads and tails above the rest, if I could Yelp review it,” she said to further laughter.

The event took place June 6, 2017, but was spotlighted Tuesday on Twitter.

Alison H. Centofante of the pro-life group Live Action tweeted that Parker is “a smarter, better dressed Dr. Kermit Gosnell,” referring to the Philadelphia abortionist sentenced to life in prison without parole for murdering babies after failed abortions.

“Equally creepy. Instead of breaking their necks outside of the womb, Dr. Parker breaks their necks inside the womb. Both laugh about it,” she wrote.

Actor Kevin Sorbo, known for his roles in movies with Christian themes including “God’s Not Dead,” tweeted: “Wow….how pathetic. Happy little murderers. Amazing!”

Parker was introduced by the founders of a group called #ShoutYourAbortion, Lindy West and Amelia Bonow.

Parker: ‘I meet God every day’

In her Seattle Times column before the event, Nicole Brodeur quoted extensively from Parker’s book “A Life’s Work: A Moral Argument for Choice.”

The columnist asked Parker if he worried what awaited him when he faced God.

“I meet God every day with the people who need my help,” Parker replied. “I know God and God will know me. I don’t believe that the people who say they know God will have any say in that.”

Last month, abortion-rights advocate Candice Russell accused Parker of committing “inappropriate and predatory behavior” toward her, reported Rewire News.

Parker denied the allegations, insisting he has “never had sex with anyone without obtaining their consent or giving mine.”

The report from FBI special counsel Robert Mueller found there was no collusion on the part of the 2016 Trump campaign with Russia, despite Democrats’ claims for two years that the evidence was there in plain sight.

On obstruction, Mueller waffled, citing incidents that might have been used if a prosecutor wanted to file charges, but Attorney General Bill Barr ultimately decided there wasn’t enough there there.

Further, the argument has been raised that without an underlying crime, collusion, there is nothing that could have been obstructed.

However, for some Democrats, that all doesn’t matter. They are coalescing around the idea that Trump should have been indicted anyway.

The Gateway Pundit reported Hillary Clinton said, “I think there is enough there that any other person who had engaged in those acts would certainly have been indicted.”

“Let it go, Hillary,” the blog advised, when she said, “I’m really of the mind that the Mueller report is part of the beginning … because there’s still so much more that we should know and that we should act upon … And we’re a long way from knowing because we need to get the full report – the unredacted version.”

She was speaking at the TIME 100 conference of celebrities.

She cited a “roadmap” for impeachment – the kind that was being developed during Watergate, on which she worked many years ago.

Social media commenters weren’t all sympathetic to her, with Sharon Portman writing, “Clinton knows she will be indicted soon,” and Joni Job writing, “Tick Tock.”

She also didn’t mention the fact that her campaign helped pay for the Steele “dossier,” a political opposition research document that was used by the Obama administration as a foundation for the entire “Russia collusion” investigation.

Also moving to the cheering section for “indict anyway” was Sen. Elizabeth Warren, one of a team of possible Democratic candidates for president.

Jack Moore responded online: “1/1024 truthful,” referencing Warren’s longtime claim of being Native American, when a test showed her to be 1/1024th Native American.”

“Biblical Historian” commented, “So Elizabeth Warren believes … when no crime is found and a person is determined innocent, the political class doesn’t have to be bound by a legal finding of no crime, they can continue to misrepresent and destroy the credibility of any person in the court of public opinion?”

(FOXNEWS) — A 20-year-old woman in Dallas, Tex., rushed to the hospital after waking one morning with a bumpy rash on her hands, arms, legs, scalp and torso. She was later informed the unusual skin lesions were caused by a sexually transmitted disease (STD).

The woman, whose case was documented last week in The New England Journal of Medicine, arrived at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas with muscle aches, fever and pain in both of her ankles in addition to the rash.

Samaritan’s Purse chief Franklin Graham on Tuesday rebuked Democrat presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Indiana, for the second time in weeks.

The first time was over Buttigieg’s attacks on Vice President Mike Pence’s faith.

This time it was over Buttigieg’s flaunting of his homosexuality.

Graham posted online his comment, after Buttigieg said God doesn’t favor one political party or another:

“Presidential candidate and South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg is right – God doesn’t have a political party. But God does have commandments, laws, and standards He gives us to live by. God is God. He doesn’t change. His Word is the same yesterday, today, and forever,” Graham wrote.

“Mayor Buttigieg says he is a gay Christian and he wants to unite people behind him. I’m sure there will be many people who will want to follow. But as a Christian I believe what the Bible says. God’s Word defines homosexuality as sin, something to be repentant of, not something to be flaunted, praised, or politicized. The Bible defines marriage as between a man and a woman – not two men, not two women.

“Mayor Buttigieg also said that to him, ‘the core of faith is regard for one another.’ We are definitely to support and help each other – no question. But that does not come above believing and being obedient to what God says is truth. Without that foundation, we really can’t help anyone in a way that impacts their eternity. The core of the Christian faith is believing and following Jesus Christ, who God sent to be the Savior of the world – to save us from sin, to save us from hell, to save us from eternal damnation.”

His earlier comments about Buttigieg came only weeks ago.

That’s when he said Buttigieg doesn’t have the authority to redefine sin.

That followed the Indiana mayor’s harsh comments about Pence’s faith-based stance on same-sex marriage.

The 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful, an Episcopalian, targeted Pence’s beliefs in a speech o the LGBTQ Victory Fund.

“That’s the thing I wish the Mike Pences of the world would understand … if you got a problem with who I am, your problem is not with me – your quarrel, sir, is with my creator,” said Buttigieg.

Graham, also CEO of the Billy Graham Association, reacted via Facebook.

“To set the record straight, Mr. Mayor,” he wrote, “the issue isn’t whether somebody has a problem with who you are – the issue is that we all have a problem with God because of our sin.

“And it applies to every single human being. God loves us, and the Bible says we are all sinners who need God’s forgiveness, which He offers if we repent and turn from our sin and put our faith in His Son, Jesus Christ,” Graham wrote.

“We don’t define sin, God does in His Word, the Bible. Using new terms like ‘Progressive Christianity’ and the ‘Christian Left’ may sound appealing to some, but God’s laws and standards do not change. He says, ‘For I am the Lord, I change not.’ I believe what the Bible says is truth.”

In his speech to the advocacy group, Buttigieg said his marriage to a man made him a “better human being.”

“Yes, Mr. Vice President,” he said, “it has moved me closer to God.”

CNN reported Pence responded to Buttigieg’s attack with: “He knows better. He knows me.”

Tom Fitton, the chief of government watchdog Judicial Watch, says President Trump should file a criminal complaint over the Mueller investigation.

“It’s that bad. He’s a crime victim,” he said while being interviewed by the “Justice with Judge Jeanine” program on Fox News. “Peter Strzok and people like that who abused their offices for political purposes, they victimized him and many others. There’s got to be criminal accountability.”

Fitton, whose organization repeatedly has sued to obtain information about the Hillary Clinton email scandal, the players who created the “Russia collusion” meme and more, said, “If I were the president I’d walk over to the Washington headquarters, Washington field office of the FBI and lodge a criminal complaint.”

Judge Jeanine Pirro was discussing the release of the report from FBI special counsel Robert Mueller, which found, after two years of Democrats confirming the evidence of collusion was there in plain sight, no collusion on the part of the Trump campaign.

She said a long list of Obama administration officials, including then-FBI chief James Comey, deputy Andrew McCabe, agent Strzok, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, DNI James Clapper and CIA chief John Brennan, are responsible.

Fitton explained, “They’re trying desperately to hold on to and keep propped up their hoax. And it was a knowing lie in my view. They all knew there was never Russia collusion and they concocted pretextual intelligence reports working also with the Clinton campaign as part of that to go after President Trump with an illicit and unprecedented, unprecedented spying campaign.”

He continued, “It’s not just a DOJ-FBI scandal, judge as you point out, the CIA, NSA, office of director of National Intelligence, and the State Department were all part of this. Was all hands on deck going after then-candidate Trump and then it continued and morphed into the corruptly formed Mueller investigation.

“As you and I discussed I think the last time I was on this program, there should never have been a Mueller report.

“As far as I’m concerned. This monstrous report is just another abuse of power by the Mueller special counsel operation, designed to defame and political hamper the president as opposed to shed light on anything substantial,” he said.

(BLOOMBERG) — An offshoot of Alphabet Inc.’s Google has become the first drone operator to receive government approval as an airline, an important step that gives it the legal authority to begin dropping products to actual customers.

The subsidiary, Wing Aviation LLC, now has the same certifications that smaller airlines receive from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration and the Department of Transportation. It plans to begin routine deliveries of small consumer items in two rural communities in Virginia within months, the company said.

In an order issued Tuesday, Judge Leonard Hanser ruled that Kraft’s right to a fair trial trumps the media’s request for the videos to be released immediately.

U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination, accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of running a “racist” government.

At a CNN event Monday, alongside other Democratic candidates, Sanders said, to applause, the “fact of the matter is that Netanyahu is a right-wing politician who I think is treating the Palestinian people extremely unfairly.”

“The United States gives billions of dollars in military aid to Israel. I just believe that the U.S. should deal with the Middle East on a level-playing-field basis,” he said.

“In other words, the goal must be to try to bring people together and not just support one country, which is now run by a right-wing and, dare I say, racist government.”

An Israeli cabinet minister reacted Tuesday.

“We condemn statements like that made by Sanders, which was really strange,” Tzachi Hanegbi, a minister in Netanyahu’s cabinet told Israel’s Reshet 13 TV, according to Reuters.

“The Israeli government is not a racist government, nor does it include a single racist minister,” he said.

“To be right wing is not illegitimate, and it is odd that the Democratic Party allows one of its senior members to not respect the democratic choice of the State of Israel.”

A senior FBI official has admitted under oath the bureau found emails sent from Hillary Clinton’s unsecured server in President Obama’s executive office in the White House.

E.W. Priestap, assistant director of the FBI Counterintelligence Division, made the disclosure to Judicial Watch as part of court-ordered discovery into the Clinton email issue, the Washington watchdog said Tuesday.

“This astonishing confirmation, made under oath by the FBI, shows that the Obama FBI had to go to President Obama’s White House office to find emails that Hillary Clinton tried to destroy or hide from the American people,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton in a statement Tuesday.

“No wonder Hillary Clinton has thus far skated – Barack Obama is implicated in her email scheme,” he said.

Fitton was referring to the more than 30,000 emails under subpoena that were thoroughly deleted through an application called BleachBit by order of Clinton’s State Department team.

When James Comey announced in July 2016 that the FBI had decided not to refer criminal charges in the case, the then-FBI director, nevertheless, said Clinton had been “extremely careless” in her handling of classified information.

More than 100 emails on her server contained classified information, including 65 emails deemed “Secret” and 22 “Top Secret.” Another 2,093 emails were retroactively marked classified by the State Department.

Judicial Watch is trying to find out whether Clinton intentionally attempted to evade the Freedom of Information Act by using a non-government email system.

Priestap helped oversee both the Clinton email and the 2016 presidential campaign investigations.

Judicial Watch said Priestap also disclosed that nearly 49,000 Clinton server emails were reviewed as result of a search warrant for her material on the laptop of Anthony Weiner. The former congressman, who is serving a federal prison sentence for transferring obscene material to a minor, was married to longtime Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

U.S District Court Judge Royce Lamberth has ordered Priestap, along with Obama administration senior State Department officials, lawyers and Clinton aides, to be deposed or answer written questions under oath.

The court ruled the Clinton email system was “one of the gravest modern offenses to government transparency.”

‘Cover-up’ discussions

Earlier this month, Judicial Watch released 422 pages of FBI documents showing evidence of “cover-up” discussions related to Clinton’s unauthorized email system within the company that managed it.

A Platte River Networks email sent in December 2014 says: “Its [sic] all part of the Hillary coverup operation I’ll have to tell you about it at the party.”

The documents obtained by Judicial Watch also show Intelligence Community Inspector General Charles McCullough forwarding “concerns” about classified information contained in the Clinton emails.

Judicial Watch also obtained Clinton’s 2009 classified information Non-Disclosure Agreement bearing her signature.

And documents show Platte River Networks’ use of BleachBit on the Clinton server to delete files. The program was downloaded on March 31, 2015, according to a computer event log. Over the next half hour it was used to delete the files on the server at a time when they were under subpoena.

The October 2016 Freedom of Information Act lawsuit was filed after the Justice Department failed to comply with a July 2016 FOIA request.

When President Donald Trump was a candidate back in 2016, he made commitments that he would support evangelical Christians in expressing their faith, and in opposing abortion.

Since his election, helped by support from that population, some of his efforts have been in the headlines, such as the release of Christian pastor Andrew Brunson from Turkey’s prison system to which he had been banished in what apparently was a series of staged claims.

Trump’s also appointed two justices to the Supreme Court that, by their background, could be expected to hold a disapproving view of rampant abortion.

But other efforts on the president’s part haven’t been so public.

Like the one revealed recently by Mick Mulvaney, chief of staff.

Explains a report by Daily Caller News Foundation, Trump, when he has world leaders visiting him in the White House, routinely asks them what they are doing for religious minorities.

Or tells them they are not doing enough.

Mulvaney’s comments came recently at the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast in Washington.

“What you don’t know about is what goes on behind closed doors,” he said. “I very rarely talk about my private meetings with the president, the stuff that goes on what goes on outside the private eye, but I can assure you that I have been sitting with him in the Oval Office, in the cabinet room, with leaders around the world, where he will look at them and say ‘Now, you’re not doing enough to take care of the Christians in your country,’ or, ‘Thank you for helping Christians in your country.‘”

The report explained Mulvaney was “a special guest speaker at the breakfast as a Catholic leader.”

He said Trump frequently has worked on the problem of persecution of Christians and other religious minorities.

“Mulvaney referenced the first-ever State Department Ministerial to Advance Religious Freedom attended by 600 people from around the world as well as President Trump’s role in the release of Pastor Andrew Brunson from his two-year imprisonment in Turkey,” the report said.

“That’s pretty powerful stuff, to be a leader of a foreign nation sitting in the Oval Office with the president of the United States and have him say, ‘Look, I need you to do more to help religious minorities,'” Mulvaney said.

It’s an issue, he explained to the Daily Caller, that “hasn’t been articulated in the Oval Office in way too long.”

In the wake of his election victory, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is planning to push for a “new community” in the Golan heights to be named for U.S. President Donald Trump.

It would be called Kiryat Trump, which means “Trump Town” in English.

His announcement came in the form of a video posted on YouTube.

“All Israelis were deeply moved when President Trump made his historic decision to recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights,” Netanyahu said.

“Therefore, after the Passover holiday, I intend to bring to the government a resolution calling for a new community on the Golan Heights named after President Donald J. Trump.”

The Golan Heights has been a disputed region between Israel and Syria for years.

In 1967, Israel seized the territory in the Six-Day War, and then annexed it in 1981. But America and other countries did not officially recognize Israel’s claim.

In March, Trump moved to change that by signing a proclamation in the Diplomatic Room of the White House.

“This was a long time in the making,” Trump said at the time. “Should have taken place decades ago.”

Though allegations came to light Monday night, a victims’ rights attorney who compiled a list of former Boy Scout leaders accused of abuse in New York held a press conference Tuesday morning to discuss the alleged widespread pattern of abuse within the scouting organization and to ask victims to come forward.
