as my face presses against the covers i imagine it to be your skin; so warm, soft, familiar. i picture our noses brushing; the tip of mine gliding over your cheek, tracing along your neck, nestling into the quiet nooks on your body. i would explore each and every part of you if i had the chance to. you’re such a beautiful mystery to me that i am not ashamed to delve into. i ache to unravel you, i feel no fear in wanting to know and understand you deeper. you are what i crave to understand. you linger in my thoughts like a favorite melody; i can’t help but keep returning to you.
