in all your years of life, you never thought you would be the one to beg a man for sex. but two months into your relationship with pope with not one night of lovemaking accounted for, you're honestly about to start.
you're not entirely sure why he never takes it farther than giving you your first orgasm. he'll use his fingers or his tongue or both, and then roll you over to go to sleep once you've come down from the high of pleasure he wrings out from you. and it's not like he's not turned on, you know that for a fact because he's always rock hard by the time he tells you to get some sleep. sadly enough, he's only let you use your mouth on him twice :(
unfortunately, you're always just a bit too floaty from your release to ever really fight him on it, but tonight you are determined to get to round two.
" 'm so close andy- please d-don't stop-!" is what you're whining against pope's lips as he lays next to you in bed. him only in his boxers and you only in your panties that are pulled to the side, as two of his thick fingers rub deep inside you while his thumb firmly circles your clit. your grip on his curls is probably painful, but he hasn't complained, he even groans a little when you yank them as you hike your leg higher up his waist to spread yourself even further for him.
the shlick shlick sounds of pope's fingers pumping into you paired with his warm, muscular frame that holds you close, has your body lock up tight in anticipation. one more swipe of his tongue against yours and the feeling explodes into white hot tremors that shake through you, from your spinning head to your flexing toes. "andrew andrew andrew", is all that sounds from you as you fall apart for him.
when you settle back into your body, pope gently removes his fingers that sparkle with your release then places a soft kiss to your nose. "so pretty. night sweetheart." his murmured words almost have you complying before you remember the task at hand. you follow when he rolls to lay on his back, crawling on him until you're straddling his tree trunk waist.
you rest your hands on his bare chest and whimper when you feel his hard on beneath you. " 'm not tired andy... lets keep going." pope blinks up at you for a second before his rugged face furrows in what looks like confusion. "but if we kept going⌠you'd have toâ i don't want you to fake it for me."
um- what? your face mirrors his in perplexity now. "why- why would i have to fake it?" rolling your hips against the bulge in his boxers confirms that you definitely wouldn't have to fake any praise regarding how big he is.
pope stares at you as if this is some kind of test you're giving him, his large hands slide up and down your waist as his tone goes slightly cautious. "because you just finished and you need time before⌠you know. you can do it again." knowing your boyfriend and his inability to take anything lightly, you bite back your giggle at his words. "andyâŚ" you explain slowly, carefully, "that's only true for men, not women."
he looks almost astonished, "what? r-really?" you nod in a gentle confirmation, no point in making him feel bad for not knowing something he clearly was never taught. you lean down to place tender kisses to his face. "you can make me feel good over and over again and i'll be able to finish. as many times as you want." pope's cheeks blush beneath your lips, grinding his hips up into yours enough to have both of you inhale sharply. "so⌠so i could use my mouth on you now?"
you hum in response, and even though the thought has your thighs squeeze at his waist, you're interested in something else. you both watch as you trace one of your fingers down his panting chest, then across each ridge of abs until you reach his waist band. "orâŚ" you slowly slide your finger back an forth just beneath the fabric as you kiss his neck, "we could have sex."
his breath catches, swallowing once before saying, "you want to?" you're squirming on top of him in anticipation, words coming out all whiney but you don't even care. "so badly andy. need you inside me." instantly, pope is flipping you over until he's pressed on top of you, his lips moving against yours and his hand pulling off your panties is confirmation enough.
after he slides off his boxers, mutters one more, "you sure?", the two of you are moaning in between kisses as he pushes inside you, only starts to slide in and out of you after a minute of letting you adjust to his size.
already sensitive and vulnerable from your first orgasm, it's almost embarrassing how quickly you feel another one start to build when you feel pope's thick cock threaten to split you in half. it's a mess of tangled sweaty limbs, slow sensual strokes, and hushed "you f-feel s'good"'s, "you were made for me"'s that have you hiccuping and clawing at pope's muscular back.
he's intently watching your face as he makes love to you, tracking what angle makes you moan, what speed makes you twitch and what location of his kisses has you clench around him.
with his bottom lip tucked over his teeth in concentration, he hitches your leg higher up your waist to get even deeper inside you, causing his coarse hair at the base of his length to rut against your sensitive clit, and the body tingling pleasure rises uncontrollably.
your hands tighten at the nape of pope's neck and your legs shake around his waist as you whimper "gonna-gonna come andy! feels so- gonna- oh andy-!" he kisses you as you tighten and cry out his name, not changing his pace or the way he holds you at all in order to intensify your release. only when you regain some brain power do you realize he's still moving inside you.
his freckled face is squeezed impossibly tight, abs contracting with restraint, clearly trying not to come yet. "andy..?" you rub your thumb on his cheekbone and his eyes flutter open, hips faltering as he looks down at you. you peck at his lips. "you can come inside me. i wanna feel you."
pope quickly shakes his head as you both groan at a particularly deep thrust. "not yet. want-want you to gimme another one." your eyes widen at his raspy words when you realize what he means.
there's no time to argue as pope abruptly pulls out and flips you over, your yelp at the upwards yank of your hips quickly morphs into a moan as he easily thrusts back into your sopping cunt. "ffuuuucckk" is all he groans before starting to pound into you. a silent scream graces your lips as his cock stretches your soft walls relentlessly, keeping you lightheaded and tingly all over as you're filled by him completely.
his tight grip on your shoulder keeps you compliant for each powerful thrust, and you can barely hear your shaky moans over the slapping of his hips against your ass. pope's huffing and puffing behind you, desperately trying to fend off his own orgasm.
"c'mon. jus want one more sweetheart. p-please. give it ta'me." he grits out above your whines.
pope uses one strong hand at the base of your neck to press you into the mattress, and brings the other to roll your clit in between two chubby fingers. the angle has his his fat mushroomy tip rubbing against the softest part of you over and over andâ "oh my fucking god andy im gonna-!"
your eyes roll back and you sob beneath him, not being able comprehend anything in your empty brain past the heat overtaking you and the stars twinkling behind your teary eyes. you're only vaguely aware and half conscious as the warmth of his come fills your fluttering pussy.
pope collapsing on top of you sobers you slightly, but not enough to do anything other than nod with a lopsided smile when he rolls you back over and asks "you okay?" as he gently licks up your tears.
your glazed over eyes flutter shut as he kisses you softly. your lips, then cheek⌠neck⌠breasts⌠stomach thenâ "think you can gimme another?" he rasps by the time he reaches your spread thighs and settles in between them with a hungry look on his flushed face.
maybe you shouldn't have told pope about the different refractory periods between men and women.

POPSTAR DARLING 'STAR' CAUGHT DISHEVELED EXITING A PINK LIMOUSINE ON SANTA MONICA BLVD WITH A NAMELESS LOVER.
â
The photo of you stumbling out of a pink limousine is plastered all over the tabloids sold in kiosks along Hollywood Blvd. Your stomach drops as you catch the headliner, your pristine reputation torn within minutes.
It isn't like you're a prude; your songs of shitty ex-boyfriends and unsatisfactory situationships have spoken enough to the world that you aren't some naive virgin. But your reputation is clean for the most part, adored by the general public for your class.
Being caught stumbling out of a limo at 3 AM after riding Jack Abbot, famed rockstar of the late 90s and early 2000s, did not match the public's general expectation from you. Except they didn't know it was Jack, at least. The world finding out that you've been regularly fucking a man that may be old enough to be your dad would just add fuel to the fire of your tattered image.
The news had broken the night before but the brunt of the damage didn't hit 'til this morning as you sit in one of the many conference rooms in the company building. Your schedule had only consisted of recording a few tracks, maybe a brainstorming session with some of your writers. A last-minute meeting with your agent, publicist, and a representative of the recording company you're signed under at eight in the morning hadn't been expected.
But neither has been bumping into Jack at a friend's birthday party at a bar in Silver Lake last night. With the private venue and the strict 'no phones' policy enforced, the both of you had thrown all caution to the wind when the older musician had pinned you against the exposed brick walls of the bar. His hands had wandered in the places you needed him most, artfully drawing out sweet moans in time with the bass drops of the DJ hyping up the small crowd. While the two of you might've garnered some interesting looks and playful whistles, there's no question that most things that go on in parties like these stay hush-hush.
And yet Jack had taken your hand, his graying curls flashing purple under the colorful lights, as he dragged you out of the side door and into the empty street where the garishly pink limo that your friend had arrived in a couple hours ago is sitting, abandoned. The two of you exchanged a single look before he's hustling you inside the backseat, snorting laughter when the zebra-print walls greeted you upon entering. But even with the tacky decor, it didn't take away the building lust the two of you held as Jack had all but ripped your panties aside, shoved his cock in you as your knees bracketed his hips.
It had been filthy and quick, sloppy drunk kisses exchanged in the dim lighting while your hand had slammed up against the roof of the limo for some balance while Jack fucked up into you. He finished fast and quick right after he made sure you did first, pressed a careless kiss to your lips while you returned the favor with a bright red lipstick stain on his collar. He exited one side, you went the other. Your hair askew, your dress rumpled and crooked to reveal more leg as you're half out of the limousine. Hickeys littered your neck.
Just in the perfect view of a paparazzi pack (hiding in the literal bushes across the street) awaiting for the perfect shot.
The shot is staring up at you as your publicist slides it across the glass table. You feel juvenile in your comfy hoodie and yoga pants, sitting across your team who's dressed in business casual. Your sleeves fall over your fidgeting hands.
"I didn't think anyone was out there," you mumble as you push the glossy camera shots of you back to your publicist, Dana. The older woman sighs. She's all hard edges, a no-nonsense attitude crammed in her petite 5'3" frame, but she's soft towards you.
"It's alright, hon. You're not a kid anymore, the company knows that," she says, her Pittsburgh accent still as strong as it has been since she relocated to Los Angeles decades ago, with a gentle pat to your hand. "So whatâ a grown woman like you had some fun at a party, no big deal. Our job here is to lessen the public outcry but we won't know that 'til we see how the internet's feelin' about all of this."
Her face is unreadable as she pulls out her iPad from her bag, flicks it open with a few sharp taps, and hands that over to you and your manager, Cassie.
@mariasont : god forbid a WOMAN wants to get fucked!!! in a pink limo, no less!!!
user1: where's her class? it's demeaning
@pearlessance: she's not a child anymore!!! people forget she's literally in her 20s jfc
The comments are plenty and while the negative ones are what steal your attention first, there's a flicker of hope that lights within you when you catch more people defending your actions rather than reverting to full-on slutshaming. You release a shaky breath as you return the iPad.
"See?" Dana hums. "Not so bad. Just gotta redirect the narrative, sweetheart, all there is to it. You just gotta help us out a bit, give us somethin' to gnaw on. Think you can give us the name of your Romeo?"
Your cheeks burn as you avert your gaze elsewhere.

ROLLING STONES PRESENTS: NIGHTCRAWLER, THE PRODIGAL BAND RETURNS.
NIGHTCRAWLER HAD BEEN THE 'BOY' BAND OF THE EARLY 2000S, REIGNING SUPREME ON THE RADIO DESPITE THEIR UNCONVENTIONAL IDENTITY OF OSCILLATING BETWEEN HEARTTHROBS FOR TEENAGERS OR SERIOUS MUSICIANS FOR THE OLDER DEMOGRAPHICS. DESPITE THEIR REFUSAL TO LABEL THEMSELVES, IT DIDN'T TURN AWAY THE GENERAL PUBLIC FROM DIALING THE VOLUME UP WHENEVER THEIR ADDICTIVE GUITAR RIFFS COME ON THE RADIO.
WHILE THEIR IDENTITY HAD BEEN IMPOSSIBLE TO PIN DOWN, IT WAS UNDENIABLE THAT NIGHTCRAWLER HAD STAR POWER.
MICHAEL 'ROBBY' ROBINAVITCH, FRONTMAN AND RHYTHM GUITARIST, WASN'T AFRAID TO SHARE THE SPOTLIGHT WITH FELLOW BAND MEMBER, JACK ABBOT, WHO PLAYED LEAD GUITAR. ALTHOUGH THE POSITION OF DRUMMER AND BASSIST WAS ALWAYS FULFILLED BY A NEW FACE ALMOST EVERY OTHER ALBUM, THEY WERE NEVER FORGOTTEN BY THE FANS.
(PICTURED: ABBOT, ROBINAVITCH â CIRCA 2006, GRAMMY AWARDS AFTERPARTY.)
NIGHTCRAWLER DIDN'T BLOW UP OVERNIGHTâ ROBBY AND JACK HAD BEEN CHILDHOOD FRIENDS, MOMENTARILY SEPARATED WHEN ROBBY HAD PURSUED A MASTER'S DEGREE AND JACK HAD ENLISTED AFTER THEIR COLLEGE GRADUATIONâ BUT AN EXPLOSION OF TALENT IN THE MAKING. WHEN THE SIMPLE LIFE HAD PROVEN NOT TO BE ENOUGH, ROBBY AND JACK REUNITED UPON HIS HONORABLE DISCHARGE FROM THE MILITARY TO FORM NIGHTCRAWLER.
AFTER ONE RELEASED ALBUM (YOUNGBLOOD), THEY RECEIVED THEIR FIRST GRAMMY NOMINATION IN 2006 BUT WON THE YEAR AFTER FOR CALM IN 2007. FROM THAT POINT ON, NIGHTCRAWLER WAS A HOUSEHOLD NAME.
A FEW DAYS AGO, I SAT WITH ROBBY AND JACK AFTER THEY HAD ANNOUNCED A SUDDEN REUNION ALBUM AND TOUR AFTER NEARLY FIVE YEARS OF SILENCE WHEN THEY HAD RELEASED THE SINGLE GHOST OF YOU IN COMMEMMORATING IRISâ JACK'S LATE WIFE AND BELOVED ACTRESSâ AND THE FIFTH ANNIVERSARY OF HER PASSING.
Q: IT'S BEEN SOME TIME SINCE GHOST OF YOU, HOW HAVE YOU TWO BEEN?
J: WE'RE DOING ALRIGHT. TOOK SOME TIME OFF FOR OURSELVES.
R: COASTING ON THOSE ROYALTIES KEPT US AFLOAT.
Q: THAT'S WONDERFUL TO HEAR, DID YOU TWO PICK UP ANY NEW HOBBIES?
R: GOLF, BUTâ (LAUGHTER.)
J: I HATED GOLF. I ENDED UP WRITING LYRICS IN THE GOLF CART WHILE THIS ASSHOLE PUTTED AWAY.
THE TWO MEN CONVERSED LIKE NO TIME HAS PASSED AND ALTHOUGH THEY'VE STARVED THE WORLD WITH THEIR FRIENDSHIP AND MUSIC, IT WAS LOVELY TO SEE THAT THERE HAD BEEN NO LOVE LOST. AFTER SOME SMALL TALK AND HAVING BROKE THE ICE, WE DOVE RIGHT INTO THE MOST AWAITED TOPICS.
Q: SO. A NEW ALBUM AND A TOUR. HOW THE HELL DID THIS COME AROUND?
J: (SOFT CHUCKLES.) IT'S ALWAYS BEEN SOMETHING WE TALKED ABOUT AFTER THE SECOND ANNIVERSARY OF IRIS PASSING, WE NEVER DID STOP WRITING MUSIC.
R: THAT'S RIGHT, WE JUST FINALLY HAVE ENOUGH TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. IT'S BEEN TEN YEARS SINCE WE DID SOMETHING LIKE THIS AND WITH HOW THE MUSIC INDUSTRY'S CHANGED SO MUCH, WE DIDN'T WANT TO DEAL WITH THE BULLSHIT OF PROMOTIONS AND TEASING SPOILERS OR HOWEVER THE FUCK ARTISTS DO IT NOWâ
J: WE THOUGHT TO KEEP IT SIMPLE. ANNOUNCE OUR NEW SELF-TITLED ALBUM AND OUR PLANS FOR A TOUR, SIMPLE AS THAT. WE'RE A COUPLE OF OLD MEN NOW, WE CAN'T KEEP UP WITH THESE YOUNGSTERS.
Q: SPEAKING OF NEW ARTISTS, HOW DOES IT FEEL KNOWING YOU'VE INFLUENCED A WHOLE GENERATION OF SINGERS? MANY OF THEM HAVE NAME-DROPPED YOU BEFORE, ONE NOTABLE AS 'STAR' WHOSE PREVIOUS ALBUM HAD ELEMENTS OF PUNK WITH HER USUAL POP GENRE. SOME MIGHT EVEN SAY IT HAD A HAND IN HER FIRST GRAMMY WIN IN 2022, AN UPSET WIN WHEN SHE HAD BEEN NOMINATED AMONGST THE EXPECTED WINNERS.
R: AHEM, YEAH. IT'S INSPIRING FOR US, TOO, YOU KNOW. NOT TO STROKE OUR OWN EGOS BUT IT'S NICE THAT WE CAN LIVE ON IN OTHER WORKS RATHER THAN JUST OUR OWN MUSIC. STAR'S A GREAT SINGER, SHE'S ONE OF OUR FAVORITES.
J: ⌠DEFINITELY, SHE'S BEEN LIVING IN MY PLAYLIST FOR AWHILE NOW.
Q: COULD WE BE EXPECTING A COLLAB ANYTIME SOON?
R: NO PROMISES.
BEFORE THE TOPICS GOT AWAY FROM US, THE CONVERSATION WAS REDIRECTED BACK TO IRIS TAYLOR-ABBOT, JACK'S LATE WIFE. SHE HAD BEEN A PHENOMENAL CHILD STAR, GROWING UP IN THE PUBLIC EYE AS SHE GREW INTO HER OWN SHOES OF ONE OF THE BIGGEST NAMES IN CINEMA. HER LOVE STORY WITH JACK HAD BEEN ONE FOR THE AGES, ONE THAT PEOPLE TODAY STILL TALK ABOUT WITH REVERENCE. IT WAS A WHIRLWIND ROMANCE, HOW SHE TAMED THE INFAMOUS ROCKSTAR WITH A SIMPLE WINK WHEN SHE HAD WON HER FIRST OSCAR AND HE WAS IN THE CROWD FOR NIGHTCRAWLER'S SCORE FOR HER FILM.
THEY HAD BEEN THE NATION'S IT COUPLE OF THE EARLY 2000S.
J: I LOVE HER, THAT'S NOT GOING TO CHANGE, AND TIME DOESN'T HEAL ALL WOUNDS BUT IT SURE MAKES THE PAIN LESS. I CAN THINK OF HER WITHOUT WANTING TO LIVE IN THE BOTTOM OF THE BOTTLE.
Q: THAT'S WONDERFUL, JACK. WE CAN SEE THAT SHE STILL LIVES THROUGH YOU, AT LEAST, IN THE MULTITUDES OF LOVE SONGS THAT YOU'VE RELEASED.
R: SHE'S ALWAYS GOING TO BE A PART OF US.
HER UNTIMELY DEATH IN 2016 HAD BEEN A BLOW TO THE ENTIRE WORLD, ULTIMATELY LEADING TO NIGHTCRAWLER'S HIATUS. ON THE FIFTH ANNIVERSARY, GHOST OF YOU WAS RELEASED WITH LITTLE FANFARE BUT IT CHARTED ON TOP FOR MONTHS. PEOPLE HAD SPECULATED THE RETURN OF THE PRODIGAL BAND BUT CAME TO NO FRUITION.
UNTIL NOW, NEARLY TEN YEARS AFTER THEIR DISAPPEARANCE FROM THE PUBLIC EYE.
â
The ceiling spins above Jack's head as he reclines in his office chair, drumsticks loosely grasped in his hand while Robby messes with the soundboard. There's staff inside the recording booth, readjusting mics and filters.
"Did you see that TMZ article?"
Jack snorts. "Since when did you pay attention to gossip, brother?"
"Since your girl's plastered all over the front pages."
The chair releases a loud creak before Jack tumbles onto the floor, unceremoniously lifting himself off his feet with as much grace his prosthetic leg allows. "What the hell did you sayâ?"
Robby chortles as he hands his phone over, the obtrusively red logo of TMZ splashed across the top of his screen. Jack settles onto the leather couch pushed against the far wall of the room with his bandmate's phone in hand, shoving his readers on before he scrolls.
Sure enough, it's a photo of you exiting the pink limo from the night before. His concern for you (along with the feral instinct to protect you from wandering eyes) is momentarily silenced when pride grows at the sight of you wearing his marks. It isn't until his eyes snag onto the blunt and crude headline meant to clickbait, ultimately tearing down your character to the public.
His grip tightens before he hands the phone back. He leans back against the couch, head tilted backwards with his eyes shut.
"Can't do much. TMZ didn't name anyone and talking about it would just prove me guilty."
Robby releases a hum, half-distracted now as he turns his attention to the soundboard and the files he had just opened. The album's half complete now with just mixing and final changes needed before they hand the whole thing over to the company's in-house producers.
Although the album was supposed to be done half a year ago, you had entered Jack's life, kickstarting nearly five new songs from the first evening he spent with you. Robby doesn't mind, he likes you well enough. You're younger, maybe a little too young to be messing with old men like them, but you've got a love for music that reminds them both of their own start all those years ago.
"Did Star text you?"
Jack shakes his head as his gaze returns to the back of Robby's head where it's slightly bowed as he fiddles with a few chord progressions. "No. Also, she's got a name. You don't have to keep calling her by her stage-name."
"Habit," Robby shrugs while he hits the save button. A half-lie, he knows your name but Jack is possessive, moreso with you than anyone else. It almost feels like an intrusion, a false sense of familiarity that hasn't earned, to use your given name. He turns in his chair, grabs the acoustic guitar to absentmindedly strum a few riffs. "You heading over to her place?"
"I don't know, maybe. It's her first scandal, not sure if I'm what she needs right now."
"She'll always need you." The simple remark has Jack looking up in mild surprise, searching for any kind of jab there from his bandmate (maybe something about your age again), but nothing but sincerity lives upon Robby's features. "It's been six months, brother. Your past flings never lasted this long."
Something uneasy settles into his stomach then, his mind nearly splintering to try and skip over the almost-revelation there to stitch something half-true about your importance in his life. He shifts in his seat instead, grabs the other guitar by its neck as he keeps his hands busy by tuning it. "I'll call her later. Make sure she's okay."
Robby nods in slight approval. "Maybe lay low a little. I know you two like hitting up your usual bar but with the article outâŚ"
Jack hits a sour chord. He didn't realize Robby had been keeping tabs of their 'usual' places. "Yeahâ yeah, good idea. Or maybe I can stop by, pick up her favorite before heading over." He readjusts the tuning peg, misses the way his best friend shoots him an incredulous look at the blatant domesticity. Jack looks up then. "What?"
"Nothing. Just don't forget her fried pickles."
"⌠Right."
â
The bar in question is Barney's on Santa Monica Blvd, nestled deep in West Hollywood. To both of your closest confidants (Robby for Jack and Trinity for you), Barney's had been the 'usual' hangoutâ a perfect meeting point between your house and Jack's home. It's out of convenience, you told Trinity. Traffic's a bitch in Los Angeles and the shorter the commute, the better. Nothing more, nothing less.
No one knows that it's the first time Jack had met you in person, where he had roguishly hit on you about two old fashioneds in. No one knows that you had also been a tad bit tipsy, spinning wildly off of a strong margarita that you pounded down when your writers' block had become too much to handle. And no one definitely knows that you had giggled your way through Jack's cheesy one-liners, nearly tearing up and toppling off your barstool and into his lap when he asked you if you had a map because he kept getting lost in your eyes.
â
⌠SIX MONTHS AGO.
You're gnawing at the end of your pen, brows furrowed and nose scrunched up each time you scratch a line through a lyric. The bar is sticky beneath your notebook but you can't find it in you to give a fuck as your heels shift and resettle against the footrest under your stool. The bartender, Queenie, gives you a tender look before refilling your glass of water and placing a fresh margarita beside it. Despite the raucous cheers from the other patrons watching a football game, you're focused enough to follow the melody that's been knocking around your head all day.
But not enough to write a single cohesive lyric that wasn't actual dogshit.
So you reach out for the sweating glass near you, ice clinking as you lift it up to chug the rest of your margarita down. The room spins a little but you power through. There's movement on your left, silver gray curls catching your peripheral view.
"I have to say," a gruff voice sounds beside you. "You caught my attention the moment I walked in."
The cheesy one-liner coaxes an incredulous laugh as your spine straightens and you turn to face him. At least he's hot in that DILF-way, you muse to yourself. You didn't realize you had said it aloud until he's chuckling, takes a swig of his glass.
"Thanks, sweetheart. Glad to see I haven't let myself go."
Recognition would've kicked in earlier if aren't two margaritas in but it comes anyways and a flush creeps up your neck as your eyes widen when you take him in. Jack Abbot, lead guitarist of NIGHTCRAWLER. Widowed to Iris Taylorâ a favorite actress of yours, if you recalled your younger days. Even though you've established yourself as a musician, considering some other artists that you've admired as a peer and colleague now after you've won your own Grammy, you still get a bit tongue-tied when you're faced with literal legends.
"You're Jack Abbot."
"And you're Star..?"
You chuckle at the stage name you picked out so long ago and offer your actual name instead. When Jack tries it on, you fight the urge to shiver at how sweet your name rolls of his tongue. The thought has you turning back to your notebook, scrawling the line in as a potential lyric.
"So, I had to come by and let you know you owe me a drink." Your brows fly up, absolutely shocked as you turn to face Jack again who swirls his drink. "Because when I saw you, I dropped mine."
A very ugly snort escapes you at the absolute shit-show of a pickup line, devolving into giggles. "That can't be your best line."
He chuckles and hides his bashful smile against the rim of his glass. "Alright, alright. Hold on, I have more." He pauses and you wait patiently. "Look, I'm just trying to drink here. You're very distracting."
The line isn't as funny as it should be but you're at that point of tipsy where everything is hilarious and you're nearly pitching forward, cheek brushing against Jack's chest as his warm hand settles on your waist to settle you. "Careful, sweetheart," he chuckles. "Hereâ"
In the midst of your giggles, Jack's arm carefully reaches out between your knees to grasp onto the underside edge of your stool and drags you closer to him. The easy strength of it silences you momentarily and you find yourself gripping his bicep for stability. "Oh, that's unfair."
Jack laughs, raspy and low as he retracts his hand and takes another swig of his glass. "What's unfair?"
Your hand wavers slightly as you gesture to his entire face and chest. "Youâ your whole⌠gentleman shtick. And I'm not dumb, y'know. I know the rumors about you and your manwhore ways. You and Robbyâ!" You might've been concerned with being a touch too crass, possibly offending Jack, but his easy and amused grin never falters as you babble adorably in his space. You haven't noticed yet but your bare knee is loosely slotted between Jack's and he's starting to crave the momentary brush of your skin against his denim jeans every time you shift.
"My manwhore ways" He repeats with a half-grin, hoping to coax you on to spill more.
"Yes, don't act coy, Mr. Abbot. I've seen the tabloid pages, the blind items." You sigh softly and regard him in a way that Jack feels almost exposed. Vulnerable. "If I didn't know any better, I thought I might've found my husband here in this bar in Silver Lake."
"It's concerning to think you're in Silver Lake, sweetheart. We're in West Hollywood."
"Irrelevant," you dismiss with a wave of your hand. "As long as my uber driver knows where I am, I can do anything I want."
"Alright, superstar. Maybe with how your words are slurring, it's time for that uber driver to know where you're at?" When he gently guides you off the stool, helps you with your jacket and purse, you go easily. He tips his head at the bartender who knows you by name, gives your manager a heads up while Jack leads you to the curb. He pays for your uber with just the regret of not giving you his number.
The regret goes away when he sees you at the same bar a few days later, this time stone cold sober.
â
The doorbell ringing draws you from your thoughts as you stare at the rerun of the TMZ soundbite where they have you splashed out on the screen, a half-step out of the pink limousine as an abrasive male voiceover eagerly dives in on your exaggerated exploits. Slamming the mute button, you look over your shoulder towards the door while tugging your stolen hoodie lower down your thighs.. You tug the hood over your head, harshly pulling at the strings until just a glimpse of your eyes and nose are revealed, while you drag yourself to your front door.
When you peek through the peephole, you relax and open it to see Jack with a baseball cap on, a greasy paper bag that smells faintly of your guilty pleasure snack in hand. A relieved smile curls upon your lips as you pull him in. "I didn't know you were coming," you say in greeting, shutting the door firmly before you're dragging him down by the nape of his neck for a kiss.
He smiles against your lips, reaching behind you to lock the door. "Wanted to check on you. You were trending again. Robby said so."
You groan dramatically and take the paper bag with Barney's logo on the front, turning to pad barefoot to your kitchen while Jack follows. You hear his keys jingle, settle into the bowl beside your keys, and his hat landing quietly onto the coat hanger you have by the door. "If your chronically off-line best friend knows about it, then it's definitely viral."
"Robby's getting better with the internet," Jack defends with a short laugh, leans against the threshold of your kitchen where you tear into the bag and lay out his treasure along your island counter.
"Mm, for a fifty year old."
"Sweetheart, we're forty-five." Your dramatic wince has him barking out a playful chuckle, crossing the distance that has you squealing and rushing around the island. He circles it, long legs striding with ease to catch and lift you to place you on the counter. "Glad to see the gossip circuit hasn't snuffed out your spark, superstar."
Your bare legs hook around his waist, feeding him a fried pickle. "It's not so bad. It could've been a leaked sex tape."
Jack frowns as he chews. "We don't have a sex tape."
"Not with you." When he gives you a shocked look, your face cracks and you burst into an amused cackle. "God, you should've seen your face, babe. And noâ before you start to spiral, I don't have a sex tape with any body. I justâI need to joke about this otherwise I'll overthink."
His lips snag onto the corner of your lips, cradling your jaw on the opposite side. "You'll be fine, sweetheart. The general public loves you, your fans would go to literal war for you. The world will adjust." When he sees the slight wrinkle that always settles between your brows finally smooth out, he knows he got you. "Mm, there's my girl."
A flutter grows in your stomach but you stifle it. Jack's too good with his words, means it just as much as a throw-away comment, and you're too clever to let yourself get lost in it. It's been six months of bliss and if you get to have that a little longer without the security that comes with a label, then you'll gladly coast this situationship until it crashes and burns. `
"Well, your girl is exhausted and it's been too long since I was given even an inch of attentionâ"
"You don't have to convince me, I'll stay the night," he says as he shuts you up sweetly with a kiss. "You have anything for me to wear?"
You give him a sweet hum, sharp eyes sparkling with mischief which he responds with a roll of his eyes.
"If you want me naked, sweetheartâ" He picks you off the counter, his low rumbling chuckle harmonizing well with your playful giggles, and brings you to your bedroom. He tosses you onto the mattress, unbuckling his jeans as you prop yourself up by your elbows.
"Your leg, Jack," you interrupt before you sit up smoothly, padding over to the attached closet to pull out a pair of crutches. He falls silent, looking gobsmacked with a look you miss as you set them down by the ottoman at the foot of your bed. "Jack"
"Right. Sorryâ" He snaps out of his throughts and leans down to steal a kiss. The action of removing his prosthesis in front of you no longer carries the odd sensation of shame or embarrassment but rather frustration out of a chore that's interrupting what he wants. With his leg set aside, he's back to joining you in bed just as you tug the stolen hoodie off to leave you in just an old t-shirt and cotton shorts. It gives him pause. "Baby, was that mine?"
You bite back a smile. "You left your hoodie in my dressing room a week ago. I told Cassie that I thrifted it. Did you want it back?"
He shakes his head, takes the shirt he must've left behind at your place too because it's folded nicely and smelling like you and pulls that on next. In just his boxers and a fresh sleep shirt, he joins you into bed while you reach over to your bedside table to flick the TV on. "No TMZ," you promise while you put on a streaming app instead. "I just want to turn my brain off a little."
"I can help with that," he murmurs, lips grazing along your bare shoulder while he spoons you from behind. He drinks up you soft laughter, basks in how it shifts into something breathier when you feel his bulge prod against your underwear.
"Jack," you murmur but you part your thighs, pulling your knee up just enough to give him room to grind his clothed cock against your core. The TV continues to blare but you're only giving it part of your attention when you feel Jack's hand slide between you two to tug your underwear aside. A broken whimper falls from your lips as he presses kisses into the nape of your neck.
"Shh, it's alright, pretty girl. Just missed you." His hands are soothing as they coast along the planes and curves of your body, reverent and nearly worshipful, while his cock starts to press against your folds. It isn't filthy the way it usually is, fast and dirty while he presses your face against the mattress, but it's nearly gentle and domestic. You banish the thought before it can take root and force yourself to focus on the rerun of a show you put on, allowing tiny gasps and whimpers as Jack sheathes himself completely inside you. When he doesn't move, you glance over your shoulder with a little pout.
"Why aren't you moving?"
He chuckles, heartbreakingly fond when he leans over to kiss your pout. "I'm not trying to tire you out tonight, superstar. I just want you to rest. Unless, this isn'tâ"
"No, no, it's fine," you interrupt with a shy grin of your own. "Didn't think you were into cockwarming."
Jack gives you a deadpan look. "You think me sticking my cock in your pussy throughout the night isn't gonna turn me on?"
"⌠good point." You turn back around to the show, sighs as you sink deeper into Jack's arms while he presses more lazy kisses into the nape of your neck. "S'kinda nice. Feels good⌠feeling comfy and full."
He hums, chest rumbling as his grip tightens around you. "Good. Get some rest, sweetheart. You've got a long day ahead of you tomorrow, right?"
You nod, half-asleep now as you trace little shapes along Jack's forearms. "I have a brainstorming session with the writers, recording⌠mm, but that's all after my brunch with the girls."
"That's right," he muses as he gives a little, shallow thrust. "I'll try to get out of your hair early, let you get ready."
Your eyes fly open (when did you even close them?) and release a quiet huff of protest. "No, you can stayâ I like it when you make me breakfast." His laughter is warm against your shoulder, warm and sweet.
"I thought you were going to brunch, sweetheart."
"Let's be real, Jack, it'll mainly just be Trinity and I pounding back mimosas."
He sighs. "Your best friend's an awful influence. Make sure you drink water in between, baby."
Your tone is wry but thick with sleep, already nodding off but not without slipping in one last bratty little remark. "Yes, daddy."
His cock throbs inside you but neither bother to mention it.
â
Morning comes with stubbly kisses to your cheek, a kind beginning to buffer the sun's cruel rays that are most definitely not being shielded by your usual curtains. You groan, shove your face into your pillow before peeking above to see your blinds and curtains open.
"Jackâ" You whine pitifully but he merely chuckles, circles the bed with his leg already on to settle on your side of the bed. His large hand smoothes back your hair, his calloused fingertips tracing along your jaw. You nuzzle into his touch like a cat. "Are you leaving already?"
He nods and lowers herself down to kiss your forehead. "Robby called. Our producer flew in early and they're calling for a recording sesh."
You sigh dramatically and lift your head up, lips pursed. "Tell Robby he owes me for stealing you away."
"You got it, sweetheart," Jack smiles against your lips, pinching your chin before he releases it to rise to his feet. "I'll call you later, yeah?"
Mumbling into the pillows to catch on some more sleep before one of your girlfriends call you up, you wave Jack goodbye. His footsteps fade into nothing and it isn't until your little security camera at your front door beeps with activity, letting you know that Jack has left your property. You sigh and roll over, shamelessly shoving your face into his side of the bed to inhale his shampoo and aftershave. It's an addicting musk, something clean but woodsy, something that reads 'older man' rather than some male manipulator's basic odor of Dior Sauvage.
In the privacy of your bedroom, you release a swooning sigh and allow yourself to daydream about Jack. It's dangerous territory, you know this, and yet you let yourself think up scenarios of simple domesticity. No one can blame you; your tumultuous relationship with Jack had gone from one night stands and stolen quickies in dressing rooms to picking up your shampoo on the way home or sharing pizzas on hotel rooftops.
Before you can sink even deeper in your fairytale thoughts, you drag yourself out of bed and stumble into the shower for a fresh start. You play your colleague's music rather than the demos you've been hoarding, all of them meant for your latest album that you've been working on. Nearly all of them about Jack.
As you sit at your massive vanity, Trinity facetime calls you without warning. You prop your phone up, accept the call with a soft sigh.
"Bitch, tell me you're ready."
You set the powder brush down and bring your setting spray within view of your camera in answer. Trinity rewards you with a bright grin as she shoves her sunglasses up her forehead to settle in her sleek updo. Despite the group chat claiming it to be a 'chill' brunch to catch up (now that all of you are finally in the same timezone), everyone is far too media-trained to ever be caught dead without looking effortlessly put together.
"We're on our way to you, get your ass to the front door!" Trinity crows as she turns the phone around, panning to the other girls in the car. Samira's glowing beside Trinity, the wonderful benefits of having wrapped up filming in Malta, and Victoria looks clean cut yet practical as if she's trying to demand the whole world to take her seriously as a filmmaker (even if she's one of the most famous nepo babies in Hollywood). The phone's passed down to Dove Tala, another singer-turned-actress that's been added into the fold of your friend group after sleeping with Trinity.
(As of now, you still have no idea what relationship they even have for each other.)
With a final swipe of lip gloss, you slip into a pair of kitten heels that match your sundress. Even now, your professional life bleeds into your personal as you slowly adopt a more girly style, something your team and creative partners had insisted on as you begin to build your next album release. They want more immersion, they said, especially with a fanbase like yours that follow your every move.
Already, some of your fans have begun to wonder if you're seeing anyone (aside from the pink limousine fiasco) due to the way you seem to be 'glowing' (a class effort from Tatcha's Luminous Dewy Skin Mist Finishing spray).
When Trinity's driver pulls up to the front of your house, the door swings open and you climb in where you're immediately greeted by a chorus of sweet 'hello's and gasps from your outfit.
"Okay, you're giving girlfriend material," Samira grins as she scoots down to make room for you. "Who's the lucky guy?"
Your eyes roll. "Jesus, I haven't even buckled inâ! Can we please save the interrogation until after the mimosas?"
Dove's eyes glimmer with mischief. "I'm holding you to that, babe."
â
The car takes your group to Beverly Hills, rolling to a stop in front of a podium where a gloved valet opens the door. With your glasses firmly placed on your nose, everyone schools their expression into one of neutrality before you're inside and the host guides you to your table near an open window for some natural light. While it leaves all of you exposed to any possible photos taken, none of you have any concern for it.
"Your server will be with you shortly," the host says serenely as you all scoot into your booth, purses set aside and sunglasses carefully placed upon the tops of all your styled hair. While your friend group aren't the only celebrities frequenting the infamous brunch spot, you still garner a fair amount of looks. Mostly awe but many are of sick curiosity.
Your cheeks burn and you recall the nasty exposĂŠ that TMZ had dropped the night before. Trinity takes your hand beneath the table and you immediately understand the silent question in her eyes.
"I'm fine," you murmur and squeeze her hand gently in affirmation. She holds your eyes a beat longer before she nods. The girls around you immediately notice the small interaction. You wave away their concerned looks. "Honestly. It's my first trashy tabloid photo, I'm just being a baby about it."
Dove tsks. "Still doesn't excuse them to blow it all out of proportion, especially with just one photo! Fuckin' deuxmoi's making it sound like you dropped a sex tape."
"Wait, what?"
Victoria elbows Dove and while a silent conversation passes, you turn to Trinity with a question on your tongue. However, the other girls interrupt. "It's fine, it's nothingâ!" Victoria cuts in, snatching your phone off the table with a slightly frazzled grin. "It's the same bullshit, these blind items are never accurate."
Panic brews but Trinity squeezes your hand before you can completely spiral. "No one is insinuating that you had a sex tape. It was a theory that your fans shut down immediately. Howeverâ the most common thread here is who the fuck you were with in that limo."
Four pairs of eyes land on you and while you've performed in front of tens of thousands of people, you feel an irrational sense of stage fright in front of your closest friends. But your server comes with a polite smile and you can sink into the plush velvet seats in relief.
"What can I get you ladies?"
"Let's start with a pitcher of Tommy margs," Dove smiles and her charm is blinding, eliciting a shy laugh from the poor server who nods. The rest of you rattle off your orders (the usuals, reallyâ the five of you frequent this place so often that it's an open secret with your fans that it's the best way to catch a glimpse of you) before relaxing back in your seats when your server leaves with the promise of returning quickly with margaritas.
Samira slides her phone towards you, screen displaying the TMZ article that's been haunting you alongside the photo that's shown you at possibly your worst: your black cocktail dressed ruched up one thigh in the stolen moment, one strap sliding off one shoulder where a myriad of lovebites are painted across your collarbone and neck, lipstick smeared and your hair mussed.
It's almost theatrical if you stare at it long enough. Maybe even purposeful if it had been taken with your consent.
"You look good," Dove murmurs with a light shrug. Your eyes cast up and her easy admission soothes the panic that's been simmering in your gut. She's kind but not always the most gentle with her words. Compliments are rare but it makes the ones that spill from her tongue even more precious. When she compliments, she states it like fact.
"Of course she does," Samira cuts in. "It's just awful that it was taken with the sole intent to defame her."
Victoria's nails tap away at her screen. "Some of these blind items say so. But lots are disagreeing." She hands her phone over to you.
Popstar princess snuck away from a party. Not so innocent now.
â she's a grown adult, let her have fun.
Popstar princess caught filming a sex tape in a limo. Call it a wild ride.
â if it was a real sex tape and we're thinking of the same singer, it would've been leaked by now. this is false.
And there were more, multitudes of comments defending you or demanding proper proof before any kind of accusations can be flung onto your name. It softens your racing heart as you give Victoria her phone back. "Thanks, guys."
Your friends all send you a smile, reaching over to rub your shoulder or hand or refilling your glass. "Of course," Samira coos.
Dove nods and takes a sip of her drink. "Now that we've got that out of the way, it's time to spill. Who's the guy, babe?"
As if on cue, your phone buzzes with a text, the table vibrating slightly.
J ⥠: Robby's driving me insane. Rooftop pizza later tonight?
The girls gasp and dive for it, eyes snagging onto the blatant red heart that's tagged right after Jack's initial. Before you can scramble for your phone back, Victoria's unlocking the text and blanching at the contact photo.
"You're dating Jack Abbot," she whisper-yells, remembering they're still in public settings and making sure to mouth his name at the end. The girls struggle to take the phone from Victoria who has a terrifyingly large grin. When you do not deign to confirm or deny, Dove deems this your silence as answer enough before her sharp gaze lands on Trinity.
"You aren't reacting." Her eyes narrow. "You knew, didn't you?"
Trinity's grin is wild. "Of course I did. Best friend privileges."
Victoria's expression is a touch hurt when she asks, "why didn't you tell us?"
"It felt so surreal, I wasn't sure if he was just gonna leave me high and dry after that first night," you share with a bashful smile. "We didn't even sleep together for the first couple of times we ran into each other at Barney's."
The food arrives, artfully decorated, and plates land quietly on your table. Your group give the server a distracted word of thanks before their attention is fixed on you once more. You drag out the moment as you grab your phone to text Jack back.
To J ⥠: Serves you right for picking him over me.
To J ⥠: But yes to pizza âĄ
When you hit send and lock your phone, you glance up to see them staring at you with patient expression. (Almost patient, Victoria looks like she's about to dive out of her seat.)
"So he joined me at the bar that first nightâyou know how I like to write at Barney'sâand he tried the most stupidest pick-up lines on me." You recall the evening with a smile, telling a shortened version before you continue on to tell the next time you'd seen him. "I didn't give him my number then and I was fully regretting it until I saw him again a week later at Barney's."
â
⌠SIX MONTHS AGO.
The loud music and wild cheers is a comfort that doesn't deter your concentration as you try yet again to continue writing lyrics. While you manage to tune out the surroundings of Barney's, you can't quite tune out your own thoughts. You're better than this, you think to yourself as you set the pen down with a little groan in favor of sipping at your glass of cherry coke.
Jack Abbot has been living at the forefront of your mind since he had helped you get home a week ago. You scoured the internet for any trace of him at two in the morning, stalking his non-existent socials only to come up with just their last release of Ghost Of You about five years ago.
The song itself is heartwrenchingly beautiful, the ache interlaced within the chords and harmonies, it had driven you to your piano and write a short melody you can't quite put a name to. It's the same melody filtering through your mind, one you've been trying to write lyrics to.
"You'll end up scratching a hole into the page if you write so hard."
You nearly fall off your stool when Jack settles into the seat beside you. Effortlessly handsome, his silver curls are messed roughly atop his head, crows feet deepening in amusement.
"Are you stalking me?" You blurt out but he chuckles and shakes his head.
"No, I just wanted a beer. But seeing you's a nice surprise." He takes the open bottle with a nod, takes a swig without losing eye contact with you. When you don't speak, a silent challenge, he gives in with a slightly bashful grin. "Alright, I might've⌠been coming every night to see you again."
The immediate confession floors you, flattery blooming in your chest. "Seriously?"
He laughs and it's such a boyish sound that he nearly looks ten years younger. "Seriously," he confirms. "Didn't feel right though since you weren't sober the last time I saw you."
A smile rises up your lips, unbidden. "I'm sober now. Still want that number?"
"Yes, but I was hoping for more now."
Your brows raise in playful surprise. "And what did you have in mind?"
His eyes flick up and down but rather than feeling like a piece of meat, he makes you feel like art being appraised. It sends a shiver down your spine. "One evening with you."
Maybe if it were anyone else, you would've made him work for it. Beg a little. Drag the moment until they're drooling for just a touch. But Jack's good at making you chase for it and make it feel like it's your idea.
"Take me home, rockstar."
No one bats an eye when you walk out of the establishment with Jack's arm around your waist, the other patrons turning a blind eye. His cologne is addicting when he tugs you into his side, effectively shielding you from a few stragglers taking a smoke break by the curb. When the car rolls up, Jack's got a hand at the top of the entrance as you slide in to avoid any accidental head bumps.
The drive is quiet but filled with a tension neither of you knew how to name. His hand is warm on your thigh and when you two make it to his place deep in the 'burbs of Holmby Hills. It takes your breath away when Jack helps you out of your sweater in the receiving foyer of his home.
It's massive and beautiful without seeming pretentious.
"So, be honest," you say as you follow him to what seems to be the main lounge, a plush brown leather sectional with a private bar hugging the far wall. "Do you use that line often to get women home?"
He circles around the bar, picks out a few glasses with a knowing laugh. "Whatâ? No, I don't just hang around bars to pick up women. That's more of Robby's prerogative. Haven't you seen our tabloids? He's the manwhore between the two of us."
You laugh and lean against the opposite side of the bar, nearly bending over to flash Jack a hint of your cleavage. "That doesn't help your case! Those same tabloids that talked about Robby also talked about you, you know. You two are one in the same."
He shakes his head with another amused chuckle before he gives in, narrating his tried and true methods. "⌠I start off with making mocktails. Makes it look less sleazy than me using actual alcohol." He does a few tricks with the cocktail shakers, indubitably impressing you despite your attempts to remain indifferent. When he finishes, he pours the mocktail espresso martini into two glasses, adds a coffee bean in the center.
"I hate to say it, rockstar, but I'm a little impressed," you say after taking a careful sip, noting the way Jack's eyes track your tongue catching the foam left behind on the corner of your lip.
"Thank god, I don't think I'd live with myself if I ended up disappointed you," he teases as he circles the bar to join you on the same side, leaning one elbow upon the dark wooden counter as he appraises you yet again. No hesitation in checking you out and you let yourself be put on display. He watches you look around, never taking his eyes off you as he absentmindedly reaches up to brush back your hair over your shoulder to trace your collarbone.
"You have a lot of decorâŚ"
The touch is light and undemanding, the backs of his knuckles feather-light as they brush along the remnants of glitter from your previous photoshoot. "I traveled a lot. And with the royalties, I have too much money I know what to do withâ yeah, I know," he laughs at your blatant eye roll but he continues on when you sink deeper into his space. "I bought a lot of stupid shit with it. I even got talked into buying a gold massage chair."
You gasp dramatically. "No fuckin' way. Those are literal scams."
"I was out $10k, of course I knew it was a scam," he laughs as he shakes his head. The hand that had traced your jaw and collarbone travels down to your waist, skimming a thumb along your hip bone. The space between you two is nearly nonexistent but before you follow the natural progression to kissing, he tips his head to the side. "Follow me."
His hand nearly swallows yours as he guides you to the leather couch, sits you down before he wanders to the corner of the room where a gorgeous turntable sits. The room's filled with slow crooning and instrumentals, maybe something from the forties if you had to date it yourself, when he drops the needle. The plush seats dips beside you as Jack's arm stretches out across the back of the couch, effectively curling you into his embrace. You aren't complaining as your shoulder brushes his chest, lifting to move your legs onto his lap while you sip at your mocktail.
"Your age is showing," you tease. "I didn't think you listened to Frank Sinatra. Were you two classmates?"
"Har har," Jack laughs dryly, pinching your side lightly while you lean over to set your empty glass down onto the coffee table. "You're real cute, sweetheart." In your effort to escape and wriggle from his ticklish touch, he uses your movement to his advantage to pull you even closer for a kiss that steals your breath away.
You kiss back immediately, a low whimper spilling between your lips that Jack swallows immediately. He kisses you like he's starving. His touch is warm and demanding as he coasts along the expanse of your ass and hips, drawing you closer. At one point, your hips rise, grinding slightly while you hover above him and his head tips back with the force of your kiss. It's hungry and messy now, your hair cascading down that he uses the back of his hand to sweep back your tresses before tucking it behind your ear.
The gentle touch brings forth a broken giggle before you full on start laughing against his neck.
"Sweetheart. This is kinda killing my ego," he says as his large hand splays out along your spine while you bow over to stifle your laughter in his shirt.
"I'm sorry," you manage to say, your giggle dying down as you lift your head while you smooth out the creases upon his collar and chest. "I justâ it was tickling me and then I just rememberedâ you have a massage chair? Like for real?"
He gives you an incredulous look but nods. "Yeah."
"Can I see it?"
"Not right now."
...
You sit in the massage chair with a blanket wrapped around your frame while Jack stands above you, fiddling with the remote control. The chair kickstarts and your eyes roll back with a quiet moan. Jack's eyes darken before you look up with a half-grin.
"This is great but this was definitely not worth ten thousand dollars, rockstar."
â
You're pulled back into the present when your phone buzzes in your hand. A red heart from Jack in reply to your text.
"You tried out his massage chair before you tried him out?" Dove interrupts with a bright giggle. "Did you guys fuck that night?"
When you shake your head, the girls gasp. "No, we spent the whole night talking. He took me back to bed and we made out some more but we kept laughing. At one point, we just fell asleep together."
You didn't realize you had been staring out the window with the dopiest smile until you snap out of it, glancing back to your friends who are watching you with varying looks of fondness and slight concern.
"You look smitten, babe," Samira murmurs gently. You startle and before you can deny it, Dove cuts in with a firmer squeeze to your hand.
"Just remember, honest love can be a cage that'll trick you into feeling like you're free."
Victoria smacks her shoulder. "Jesus, you're a bigger cynic than Trinity."
You shake your head and trace shapes into the condensation of your glass. "I never said it was love, guys. It's⌠We aren't labeling anything. And I'm not about to scare him off by asking the stupid 'what-are-we' question, I'm being cool. Chill. Relaxed and indifferent."
"Indifferent suddenly means your not-boyfriend coming around for pizza?" Trinity remarks with a sharp brow. "Be honest with yourself, he's doing boyfriend things, you're doing girlfriend things. I think six months is a little too long for a situationshipâ"
Victoria snorts into her glass. "Look who's talking."
Dove and Trinity share a look and an awkward silence falls on the table. Despite feeling sorry for your best friend and her own messy love life, you're grateful that the attention is finally off you.
The conversation shifts onward to different topics, Samira bemoaning the strict thematic approaches the higher-ups are placing on her next EP, Dove gushing about the last episode of Euphoria, Trinity rambling eagerly of a break after wrapping up filming for her latest movie, and Victoria complaining yet again of her extraordinarily famous director of a mother.
You sit in the midst of the beautiful chaos with a soft smile, nibbling absentmindedly at your friends before your phone buzzes again. Trinity glances overâyou wonder if it's her innate overprotective best friend roleâuntil you wave her away. It's just your manager, Cassie.
"I've gotta go," you sigh regretfully as you show the screen of Cassie calling you. The girls boo dramatically but you give your customary cheek kisses before you stumble out of the booth, answering the call and tucking your phone in between your ear and shoulder. "Hey, Cass."
Your heels carry you to the front, sunglasses back on your face. The valet approaches you but you politely wave them away just as your own driver pulls up to the curb.
"⌠yeah, Antoine just got here," you tell Cassie on the phone as he steps out to open the door for you. "⌠yup, absolutely." When you hang up the phone, you let your driver know to take you straight to the recording studio.
As you sink into the backseat, you let out a quiet huff as you brace yourself for the packed schedule that'll take up the rest of your day. In the midst of LA traffic, you mindlessly scroll through emails and correspondence to shift your brain into work mode.
Even so, your attention falls to the leather cord that's wrapped loosely around your wrist. A guitar pick dangles at the end, matte black with a red 'J' scrawled in the center.
Your smile never fades even as you enter the building upon arriving.
â
The outside world falls away when you envelop yourself into the bubble with the other writers and producers. Before you even step into the booth, you settle onto the couch as you're surrounded by a few of the other staff. Cassie had brought you your notebooks from your house for you, along with a few changes of clothes in anticipation of having no time to go home and change.
"I do have potential lyrics for one of the b-sides."
You flip through your notebook and the raw vulnerability that greets you nearly has you slamming the pages shut. But you keep it open and hand it over to Brendon, one of your harsher critics and fellow co-writers. It always feels like peeling your skin and exposing the muscles beneath when Brendon looks over your work; he may not know it's about Jack but he'll see the yearning that's been burrowing deeper and deeper in your bones.
"Not bad." Brendon nods and turns where he sits on a piano bench, testing out the chords you had scrawled above the lyrics. "Slower tempo, though. Might keep this as an opener if you want to build the storytelling to something biggerâŚ"
The afternoon continues on like this, testing out melodies and harmonies while locking in the lyrics. Something comes to mind from the brunch and you lean over Brendon to scribble an extra line in the first verse.
He reads it over, sings it in the melody. "Honest love is a cage that makes you feel freeâŚ" the final chord echoes in the room. "That's cynical for a love song."
You shrug. "That's why it's titled 'stupid song'."
Another producer behind you chuckles at your smart wit. The progress is slow and steady but you've got a demo recorded at least and soon Cassie's hustling you out for your next schedule to the dance studio a few blocks down.
Fortunately, there's only a few dancers already there and the choreographer and performance director is close behind; you hate making people wait, fully negating the diva persona the internet tries pushing on you.
The choreo is something you're already familiar with and rehearsal goes by swiftly, blocking out your entrances as you follow the marked tapes that's meant to mimic the stage for the festival you're headlining next month.
"We'll end here today. Thanks, everybody." Everyone disperses for water, stretching out while you head over to your phone where it's been ringing.
You thank everyone as you cross the room to your bag, rummaging to bring out your phone. When you answer, a smile immediately blooms upon your lips.
"Hey, baby."
Jack's chuckle is slightly overtaken by the roar of winds and you figure he's driving with the windows down. "Hi, sweetheart. Did I interrupt something, you sound breathless."
"Oh, absolutely. I was just riding Robby," you retort with a snappy giggle.
"My best friend? That's cruel," he whines dramatically before he breaks off into a laugh. "Our recording sesh finished early, thought I could swing by and wait for you at your place."
"ActuallyâŚ" Your conversation with the girls begin to weigh heavily on your mind, missing the way some of the dancers start to glance your way. "Rehearsals just finished. Do you wanna pick me up instead?"
"Depends. Where's the dance studio?"
"Are you near West Hollywood? On Melrose?"
Jack chuckles. "I am. I'll be there in ten, alright? Don't come out 'til I pull up."
You hum, not bothering to stamp down your bright smile. "I know. I'll see you soon."
"See you, darling."
Jack's G-Wagon is excessive yet blends right in with the rest of the vehicles that roll along Melrose Ave. He's shamelessly double-parked in front of the studio, hazard lights flashing, as you walk briskly to hop into the front seat. You don't relax until the door's shut behind you, safe behind tinted windows, to lean in and kiss Jack across the console. Despite the obvious traffic he's causing, his hand grasps your jaw to deepen the kiss that has your thighs clenching together.
"Mm, Jack⌠the carsâ"
He nips against your lower lip. "Can't help it. Missed you today."
You giggle, traffic be damned, and lean in for another. "You saw me this morning."
"Not enough time," he says simply before he drops a kiss to your nose and shuts off his hazard lights. "Buckle up."
You obey immediately before a tantalizing smell steals your attention. Like a bloodhound, you sniff the air and look over your shoulder to see the familiar box in the backseat.
"You got me Vito's?"
Jack chuckles at the sharp squeal that follows, landing his warm palm onto your thigh to settle you when you attempt to turn and crawl into the back for an early slice. "It's your favorite, sweetheart, of course I did. Now quit moving and behave for me."
You retaliate with a sharp nip to his earlobe instead, dragging his hand higher up your thigh which he squeezes. "I'm giving you the sloppiest head later."
"Just for pizza?" He barks out a laugh as he turns onto your street.
"For Vito's," you correct. He rolls into your driveway, the gate shutting behind him. Once the security system is locked in place, you squeal as Jack's hand shifts higher to rub your clothed clit. His mouth finds yours, swallowing up your moans as he rubs you through the soaked fabric until you're cumming in your seat.
You're panting against his mouth when he reluctantly breaks the kiss, retracting his hand to lick his fingers clean while you watch with a burning gaze. "Always taste so sweet for me, sweetheart," he remarks casually before he steps out, circles the car and helps you out next.
The indifference he has is a ruse, you know that much, but it turns you on even more, whining playfully as he grabs the pizza and heads inside without another word. "Jackâ!"
His resounding cackle only has you huffing, playfully stomping your feet as you follow him inside. "Go shower, pretty girl, I'll meet you on the rooftop."

VIDEO: A screen recording of an old livestream of you that aired a few months ago. It's late morning or early noon, birds chirping. You're sitting in your backyard patio at the table, an acoustic guitar on your lap and dressed in a matching pajama set. A bowl of unfinished greek yogurt and parfait is sitting on the table beside you.
"This is a demo, not really sure if this'll ever be released but I finally figured out the chorus. Hope you like it."
A sweet melody rings out, mingling with the occasional songbird that flits in and out of frame behind you. It's likened to a lullaby.
"And it's too hard to describe thisIn a way that feels honest, but even when I'm quietI adore you, baby, I promiseAnd I hope I never see what your face looks like goin'A face, I swear, that I could spend my whole life knowin'Here's to hopin'."
â
By the time you're showered, the sun has begun to set, painting the skies a strawberry pink tinged with orange. One of Jack's old NIGHTCRAWLER shirts hang off your frame, the black dye faded into a crackled gray, and conceal the cotton shorts beneath as you climb up the stairs that lead to your house's roof.
It had been the sole reason of purchasing this home, the gorgeous view that overlooks the neighborhood with an artifical ivy wall to create a semblance of privacy. With some renovation, you had another wall put up to project movies off of with a mountain of beanbag chairs and plush couches to sit on at the other side of the roof. A low coffee table sits nearby as well, occasionally pushed aside or dragged closer for whatever the evening requires.
But tonight, Jack has the lanterns turned on, casting the roof in a warm glow that'll replace the sunset's natural light. The coffee table is tugged close to the couch that Jack's already occupying, the pizza box open and a couple of cherry cokes already set out for the both of you.
"That mine?" He chuckles in greeting as he opens his arm for you to slide into.
"It's mine now," you grin and tuck your legs beneath you, fitting perfectly in his arms while he hands you a plate. Music is playing faintly; you may not own an exorbitantly expensive record player like Jack but you have a handy JBL speaker that's currently playing an old R&B track you might've introduce him to.
The two of you eat in comfortable silence as you assume your usual position: legs tossed across Jack's lap, his hand stroking along your thigh, and your head resting on his shoulder as you chew. While he'd been technically on hiatus with Robby for the past several years, he understands the chaos and demands of a life lived in the public eye.
Sometimes, just existing with Jack is enough to find your anchor.
"Day's been okay?" He asks quietly, plates set aside as he presses a kiss to your forehead. When you nod, a voice that sounds eerily like Trinity whispers in your ear: boyfriend activities. You bat it away.
"Just busy," you answer as you set your cherry coke down to tip your head up to meet his eyes. Your fingertips scratch along his scruffy beard, traveling up to play with his silver curls. "This is nice, though. I love our rooftop pizza nights."
Jack hums in agreement, head tipping to chase your touch. "Best way to end the day. Made any progress with the album?"
"A bit. We got the verse down but we're still playing around with the chorus," you murmur. His hand smooths up your thigh without expectations, basking in the domesticity of the evening while you ramble on about your day. He listens with a few nods and hums slipped in. "But how about you? I saw the Rolling Stones article about you and Robby. Are you excited to be back in the limelight?"
"I think soâ I know Robby is," he chuckles. "Most of the album is recorded but it's shorter than we planned it to be. Either we just drop it as is or we would drag out the release by dropping singles."
"That's what my company wants me to do. Don't tell anyone but I have something slated to release for my music festival next month. Ohâ that reminds me! Will you be coming?"
Jack already has trouble denying you anything but when you pair a question (that you ask oh so sweetly) with a bat of your big doe eyes, he's saying yes before he could even consult his schedule. He's rewarded with an eager squeal from you, nearly knocking him backwards as you hug him tight. "Careful, sweetheart," he laughs as he braces you against him with a hand on your back, effectively holding you like a clingy koala with how your legs hook around his waist.
"I'll have my team send over badges so you can get through security," you state while reluctantly releasing Jack so you can draft up an email to Cassie while perched comfortably on his lap. "Should I get Robby one too?"
Jack pauses before he nods. "Sure, why not."
"Good, I already requested for two." The email's sent and when you toss your phone aside, you catch your lover's questioning look as you settle back down in his arms.
"Don't give me that faceâ you and Robby are like a set, I know better than to separate you two."

Titus Danforth x Fem!reader oneshot she's a series now
Part 1 Part 1.5 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
Summary You were the bride. The one being chased. You would do anything to stop running. Stop being hunted. Titus accepted your marriage proposal. Now it's time to take your place.
or
An alternate ending to the movie, where you don't immediately kill Titus, and try to make peace with your new life at his side.
W.C. 13.3k (bruh)
Tags Angst, smut, Dubcon (in the sense of like Stockholm syndrome and slight coercion), enemies to lovers, slow burn, mentions of blood and violence, attempted SA, implied murder, Titus being douchey, cuck if you squint, infidelity, oral sex (f and m receiving), unprotected sex, slight, breeding kink, no use of y/n for reader insert, the goat pit is mentioned but no one gets thrown in
Author's Note The whole prospect of a marriage to Titus was kinda giving me Persephone and Hades vibes, I think, and I hope I communicated that well. Like I said, I apparently can't just write smut, I have to build emotional depth (sue me). I almost feel like I could continue on with their relationship after this point, it would be so interesting to explore.
Slightly ooc because letâs be honest, Titus probably wouldnât wait.
xoxo
"I do."
As soon as you said the words. The pit in your stomach calcified into something heavier. You were almost trembling too much to put the ring on.
Titus was overjoyed. As much as someone like him could be. And of course he was. With his twin dead, and you legally linked to him, he was on top of the world. Literally. There was no one in his way. Titus told you the moment the hunt started, that it would be he who got you. And he was right.
Blood was drawn from the goat. Sacrifices made. And you were pushed aside in the revelry. You didn't want to enjoy any of it. Not that you could have. You were an afterthought, swept away in the crowd of cultists and freaks, standing along the fringes by yourself while they all drank and celebrated.
Titus didn't spare you a second glance when you left for your room. He had what he wanted. And you knew that your nightmare was just beginning.
Youâre in your room when thereâs a knock on the door. You tighten the silk robe around your waist and answer, nearly shaking too much to hold the door handle.
"Hello Mrs. Danforth," a man in a white button up nods pleasantly at you. "I have been sent to tend to you."
"Ah- what do you mean?" you ask as he makes his way into your room, opening up the bag that he carried with him. Your mind reeled with the possibilities. Tend to you? Take care of you? Is he here to kill you?
As he unpacks his tools, you realize very quickly that theyâre just medical supplies. Gauze, alcohol pads, needle and thread.
The man looks at you, and gestures to the bed. "Please, relax Mrs. Danforth. This wonât take but a moment."
The name still feels foreign to your ears. Mrs. Danforth. Your new title. Itâs going to take a while to be able to wear that completely, without it feeling like a mask.
They had done some basic patchwork before the wedding. Bandages and gauze. Barely holding you together at the seams. Enough to make you presentable for the ceremony, thatâs it.Â
But this is real medical care. You needed it. Every stitch, every swipe of a wound made you bite your tongue, holding back screams. But at least youâre being tended to, and you can only hope that you never have to endure this kind of pain again.
When heâs done, you stay laid out on the bed. He packs up his medical kit, collecting the bloodied rags and wiping away the surfaces, leaving no trace.
"Who-who sent you?" you ask.
"Mr. Danforth," he smiles at you. He said it so calmly, as if the answer was obvious.
Heâs out of the room without another word.Â
Youâre finally alone. Tears well in the corners of your eyes. Tears that you didnât even realize you were holding in all night. Dawn breaks through the curtains, thin streaks of light fighting their way into the room. A new day, a new beginning. The start of the rest of your life.Â
You let out a shaky breath and sit up in the bed, running a hand through your hair. You extend your left hand in front of you, catching the light on your wedding ring.
You hear Ursula's voice in your ears.
I tried looking for the goodness in him. I found nothing.
We can control him, together.
Maybe she was right, there is no goodness in Titus. But maybe she was also right, that he could be- well, not controlled- but gently steered in the right direction.
Hades and Persephone. Death and his wife. Two sides of the same tarnished coin.
The door opens. No knock, of course not. He owns everything, including you, and heâs entitled to whatever he pleases. Whoever he pleases.Â
You rise to your feet immediately, wincing at the sudden movement and trying to bite back the discomfort.
"I see you're looking better. All stitched up?" Titus grasps his hands in front him. He looks pleased with himself.
"Yes," you say, giving no emotion away.
He twists the rings on his hand- both the wedding band and the family heirloom- and steps closer to you.
You flinch slightly, taking a half step back. Itâs more reflex than anything, conditioned by multiple nights of being chased and hunted. Those hands, one ones innocently twisting at his wedding band, were around your neck not too long ago.
Titus notices. He takes a beat and nods. "I owe you my gratitude," he says.Â
There is something strange behind his eyes. The feral bloodlust from last night has faded into something almost human. "I obviously didn't know about the loophole," he continues. "Rather convenient."
"Yeah, convenient," you deadpan. "For you."
"We both win, right? You're still alive. I have what is rightfully mine." His fingers linger on the council ring. His priority.
"Are you here to consummate the marriage?" you spit, venom laced in your words.
"No," Titus shakes his head.
You allow yourself a breath of relief. A small victory in a night of horrors.
"When I have my way with you,â he mutters, voice low, âyou'll be asking for it. Begging for more. And I won't touch you until then. You have my word."
The small victory was short-lived, obviously. This is a challenge. To see how long you can last.Â
"Then you'll be waiting for a very, very long time," your voice is even, though youâre almost visibly trembling.
"We'll see about that," he nods. Not a threat, just a fact.
There's something in the air between you two. Heavy, and almost tempting.
Without another word, he leaves you in your room to sleep by yourself. You let out the breath you were holding, and collapse onto the bed. Every cell in your body is begging for rest.
And you have your first full nightâs sleep since before your first wedding.Â
When you wake, the sun is strong and high in the sky. It must be mid day by now. You have no idea how long you slept, but you feel like youâve been hit by a train.Â
Thereâs a knock at your door. Who knows how long theyâve been waiting for you to gain consciousness.Â
"Come in," you grumble. You dig the heels of your hands into your eyes until you see white spots, trying to wake up fully.
A very perky young woman opens the door, stepping in with a stack of clothes.
âMr. Danforth would like you to come down for a meal before you depart,â she says, her tone much too light and airy for the setting.Â
âDepart?â you ask, yawning. Just the simple act causes you to wince, your body still aching and sore. âWhere are we going?â
âHome,â she smiles.
Itâs unsettling, how pleasant everyone here is. Donât they know what just happened? What youâve been through?
Titus clearly has terrible taste in clothing. You realize this when you put on the clothes he has chosen for you. Just bleak, drab, business casual. You wince a little when buttoning the pants, your stitches crying out for sympathy.Â
When you go downstairs, Titus is nowhere to be seen. Youâre quietly grateful for the opportunity to eat in peace. Again, your first full meal since your first wedding. You donât realize how weak youâd become until your belly is full again and your senses are renewed.Â
A dark escalade pulls up to the front, and you are ushered out the door. Titus is standing outside, talking with the driver. He spares you a sideways glance before climbing into the back seat. You sit next to him, staring out the window the entire time.
âIâll have your belongings brought to the house,â Titus says as the car peels away, still not looking directly at you.
âI donât have many,â you say.Â
Which is true. The clothes in your dresser. Your favorite books. And the necklace that your mother left you before she died. You were cursing yourself for not bringing it with you. But then, how could you have known that a weekend wedding getaway would morph into this?
Otherwise, there wasnât much to want.Â
âSomehow, that doesnât shock me.â Titus replies.
You glance at him sideways, and his smug attitude makes you seethe. After everything youâve been through this week, you should feel relieved that youâre still alive. And yet, youâre chained to this man.
You wonât feel any relief until youâre free from him.Â
The house in Newport is not a house. Itâs a sprawling estate, of course. Inherited by Titus after his fatherâs death, the houseâs upkeep is its own operation. Thereâs more people working on the property than were on staff at your last job. Every need is taken care of, so that the Danforths donât have to lift a finger.
Titus has probably never had to work for anything in his life. And now, youâre going to make him work for your favor.Â
âSomeone will show you to your room,â Titus says as the front doors open for you. Again, never lifting a finger, these Danforths.Â
âWhat am I supposed to do here all day?â you ask, looking up at the foyer with curiosity. Itâs grand and heavily decorated, paintings and lavish accents touching every corner of the space.
âI donât care,â Titus replies, voice flat, already walking down one of the hallways.
âIâm just supposed to stay locked up in here?â you call after him, tone incredulous.
Titus stops dead. He turns on his heels and stalks back to you.Â
Your chest tightens, the image of Titus running after you replaying in your head.Â
âUpset with the lodgings, darling?â he says, voice low. âRemember, a golden cage is far more preferable to a goat pit.â
You chew on the inside of your cheek, trying to settle the emotions building in your chest.Â
âNow,â Titus continues. âAnything you should desire can be taken care of. Want to try horseback riding? Go to the stables. Want to rot your fucking brain all day? The theater room is on the first floor. Go online shopping. Do whatever you want. I donât. Fucking. Care.â The last sentence is emphasised, his eyes boring into yours.Â
âWhatever I want,â you reply, eyes narrow, âexcept leave.â
Titus relaxes slightly, a smile forming that doesnât reach the rest of his face. âNow youâre getting it. I knew you had some sense.â
He wraps a firm hand around the back of your neck. Your breath stills and eyes widen, just barely, worried that something in him snapped. That volatile temper of his has decided to just kill you right there.
But he brings you closer and presses a kiss to the top of your head.
Without another word, you watch him walk away. This time, keeping your mouth shut.Â
It occurs to you that he could, actually, kill you at any time. Decide youâre not worth the trouble anymore. All of this would have been for nothing if you still end up dead by the end of it. And then Titus will have gotten everything he wanted, like he always has.Â
Itâs time to make yourself more valuable.
-
The forest on the edge of the property is secluded, just like you want it. You needed somewhere to practice without the prying eyes of the staff. You line up the shot, taking a deep breath. Almost ready, when you hear a branch snap behind you.Â
Your arms fall to your sides, head turning to the sound. The tightness in your chest does not ease when you see Titus walk towards you. The only thing keeping you calm is that this time, youâre armed. Just in case.
âWhen they told me you were out here,â Titus stops just a few feet from you, âI thought I misheard.â
âNope,â you say, turning your attention back to your practice.
âOf all of the hobbies you could have chosen, and I do mean all of them,â he walks closer, stepping around a fallen branch, âshould I be worried that this is what you picked?â
You take a deep breath, fingers light on the blade. You bring the knife behind your head, other arm outstretched in front of you, finding your target. After steadying yourself, you launch the knife. It sinks into the tree. Not into the target, but also not on the forest floor. You take the victory.Â
âI donât know,â you turn to him, wiping your hands on your pants. âShould you be?â
âWhatâs the matter, nothing good on the television?â he asks.
âDonât you have some small children to bring to tears or something?â you reply.
âWhere did you even get the knives?â
You walk by Titus, jutting your chin out. âLike you said, I can get anything I want here.â
After collecting the knives from the bark, you find your starting point again, with every intention of practicing as if Titus isnât standing there, watching you.
âYouâre choking it,â Titus says.Â
You glare at him. âExcuse me?â
âThe blade.â Titus approaches you and takes your wrist in his hand, turning it over in his grip. You have the knife in your grasp, fingers gently wrapped around the base of the blade. He gently slides the blade down, so that your fingers are resting at the tip.Â
âYou have more leverage this way,â he says, voice low.Â
Without explaining further, Titus moves his hands to your hips. You still, just barely, breath hitching in your throat. Based on the way his eyebrow lifts, and the corner of his mouth twitches, Titus notices.
He gently positions you, moving your hips so that you are facing him straight on, perpendicular to your target. You wait for his hands to fall away, but they linger just a little bit longer. You can feel his fingers twitch lightly against your hips.
âYou will push through with this back leg,â he taps your thigh.
You watch his hands, eyes narrow.
âNow,â he murmurs. The hairs on the back of your neck stand. âTry again.â
Titus brings his hands behind his back and takes a few steps back. He nods, waiting for you to make your move.
You donât hide the disdain in your face, but square up anyway. Blade behind your head, other hand out towards your target. One deep breath in, and out, and let the knife fly.
It lands right on the target. Not the center, but closer than youâve been all afternoon.Â
Titus flashes you a smug grin. âGood,â he nods, and you hate the way the word runs through you. âMaybe now youâll be able to hit a sleeping elephant.â
âFuck you,â you spit, readying your next blade.Â
You throw again, remembering what Titus said, and hit closer to the center of the target. Titusâs smug grin permeates your periphery. You roll your eyes.Â
âAlright, time to come inside,â Titus extends a hand.Â
âIâm not a dog,â you spit.Â
âNo, and youâre not a child either. Youâre going to come with me. Now.â His tone is flat, and his smile doesnât reach his eyes. Unsettling as always.Â
You collect your knives and walk by Titus, leaving his extended hand hanging in the air.
Titus directs you to your bedroom, keeping a respectable distance as you make your way through the halls. Even after moving to your permanent residence, he doesnât have you to sleep in the same bed as him. Chivalrous, maybe. More likely, though, his clear disdain for you would ruin his sound sleep.
When you open the door, you realize why he brought you back in.
Your belongings have been delivered. Four boxes, stacked neatly on the floor, with your name printed on the front. Your entire life, reduced to this. You would be ashamed, but you worked for everything in those boxes. Itâs all yours.
âYour apartment has been paid off. Furniture sold, and personal effects packed,â Titus walks in behind you. âIâm not sure how you managed to live in such a tiny hovel, though,â he adds, nearly under his breath.
You glare at him, unamused.
âAnyway,â Titus clears his throat, âLet me know if anything is missing.â
âOkay,â you approach the boxes, gently kneeling on the ground to open them.
Old concert shirts, a few pictures, and some well loved novels. You pick up your worn and very annotated copy of The Portrait of Dorian Gray, grateful that it made the trip.
You move to the second box. Then the third. And the fourth. Your movements become more haphazard with each box, hope fading fast. You check the excess packing material, thinking it must be hidden somewhere. Not missing, though. It canât be.
âItâs not here,â you mutter. Not wanting to believe it, you rifle through the boxes again.Â
âWhat is it?â Titus asks, stepping up behind you.Â
âMy necklace. The- the heart pendant. Itâs not here,â your voice is rising.Â
Titus looks at your possessions with near disgust. âI can buy you another necklace-â
âNo,â you cut him off, tone harsh. You turn to him and try to decide how much youâre willing to share with Titus. âIt was my motherâs.â
For the first time, something softens behind Titusâs eyes. You almost donât notice it, but there is definitely something different in his expression. Something like empathy, if thatâs even possible for him.
âI- I understand,â he nods, tone noticeably softer. âIâll send someone out to see if it was missed.â
You sit on your bed, arms wrapped around your stomach. âShe was a single mom, and tried to give me the world. It was the only thing of value she had to her name. When she died-â your voice catches in your throat. You look up at Titus. His hands are heavy at his sides, clearly not sure what to do at this moment.Â
âWhen she died,â you continue, âit was the only thing I had left of her.â
Thereâs a heavy silence, a lengthy pause. You retreat into yourself, any bravado you had cut short. Any quips you may have for Titus die on your tongue.
âIâll see what I can do,â Titus nods and folds his hands behind his back.
He leaves you alone in your room, your whole life reduced to four measly boxes and a broken heart.
-
Titus decides to throw a dinner party. He says itâs to honor the new marriage, and to celebrate the Danforths remaining at the high seat of the council. But this is clearly just a way for the wealthy to live in their wealth. Spending money just to spend. Luxury for luxuryâs sake.
Your outfit was chosen by him, of course. You half expected it to be some tacky, gaudy display of horrendous opulence. Itâs not like he has proven to have exceptional taste.
But the dress is surprisingly lovely. Lush, deep blood red fabric hugs every curve from your breasts to your hips, then drips down to the floor. Off the shoulder straps leave your collar bone exposed. With minimal beading, itâs much more subdued than you would have expected from him. Not that his wardrobe is particularly flashy, but these events have a way of bringing the tackiness out of people.
The maids finish preparing, leaving you at the vanity, staring at yourself in the mirror. You look beautiful. And you can feel your will starting to erode. You hate how much you like this gown on you. You hate how perfectly your hair is pinned. You hate how your skin is glowing, how well this life fits on you, like the ring on your finger.Â
Titus enters the room without knocking. The vest heâs wearing has an ornate pattern on it, blood red, matching your gown.Â
âYou look beautiful,â he says.Â
âWay to compliment yourself,â you roll your eyes, âsince youâre the one that picked this out.â
âThe dress is nice,â Titus says, standing behind you now, hands behind his back. âYou look beautiful. Now, close your eyes.â
âWhy,â you glare at him through the mirror.
âJust do it,â he squints at you, patience thinning.
You stare at him for a moment, but heâs unmoving. Finally, you relent.
âYou arenât particularly trusting,â Titus says, voice low. âThen again, neither am I.â
âI wonder why,â you mutter, eyes still closed.
You feel a chain drop down around your neck, and his fingers clasp it behind you. You can only imagine what kind of garish jewels Titus has picked out for you. Without waiting for him to release you, your eyes open, and your gaze falls immediately on the necklace.
Your motherâs necklace.Â
A thin, gold chain and heart pendant, etched with an ornate design. Simple, but beautiful. You thought youâd never see it again.
Tears well in your eyes. You blink them away quickly, careful not to ruin your makeup, or let on how moved you are by this gesture.
âHow-â you start, but you bite your tongue.
âThe servant who collected your things tried to pawn it. Idiot. He has been killed for his treachery." Titus says those words so plainly, and even smiles at you. Like taking a life is as mundane as taking out the trash.Â
Your painted fingers move to the pendant, touching it gently, making sure this is real. There is a pang of guilt at the thought of someone dying for this. But you think about what you would have done just to get it back, and suddenly your disdain doesnât feel as strong.
You look at Titus through the mirror. âThank you.â
The corner of his mouth twitches, but the rest of his face remains unchanged. Something flashes behind his eyes. Not smugness, but maybe pride.Â
âOur guests will be arriving soon. Be sure you are in the foyer to receive them.â
And he leaves as quickly as he entered.Â
Dinner is a chore, to say the least. These people, having no real lives or ambitions, have no personalities and no interesting things to say. They comment on the state of the world- which, seeing how far removed they are from it, leads to very shallow discussion.Â
You remain silent, picking at the courses set in front of you. Any appetite you had vanished the moment you were seated and were forced into such mindless discussion.
Titus sits at the head of the table, and you at the other end. Every so often, he steals glances at you, and the necklace. But he otherwise does not acknowledge you or your presence at the table.
Somewhere near the end of the meal, you feel something nudge your leg.Â
The cousin seated next to you, Jonathan or something, catches your attention. What you thought was a mistake proves to be very intentional when he drops his hand under the table, resting right on your thigh. His gaze is heavy, daring you to make a sound.
âTitus lucked out with you, didnât he?â Jonathanâs voice is low, lost in the many conversations happening around the table.Â
Your entire body goes stiff, unable to decide on what to do. Nothing in your brain materializes on your tongue, and for once, you are stunned into silence. The sheer audacity required to hit on you at a dinner party in your own house, when your psychotic husband is on the other end of the table.
âThat is not a good idea.â Your words are weak, but itâs all you can think to say.
Jonathan gives your leg a rough squeeze. âTitus is all talk. We both know heâs not man enough to do what needs to be done,â his eyes drag over you, lingering over your chest and the deep breaths youâre taking.Â
You look down the table at Titus, who doesnât seem to have noticed. Heâs locked in a conversation about who knows what. Oblivious to the disrespect happening right under his nose.Â
Jonathan removes his hand and settles back in his chair, continuing on as though nothing happened. Your breath finally returns to you. Stupidly, you think that is the end of it.Â
When the dinner party winds down, and the men gather in the drawing room for scotch and cigars, you excuse yourself.Â
âIâm going to bed,â you murmur in Titusâs ear before slipping away. He gives a silent nod in understanding.Â
In your room, you start by taking down your hair and removing your accessories. Your fingers once again linger on the necklace. Your heart squeezes in your chest, thinking of your mother, what she gave up for you. And how much you wish she was here to guide you. The necklace stays on.
Thereâs a knock on the door. Instantly, you know itâs not Titus.Â
He doesnât knock.
âCome in,â you say, thinking itâs one of the maids sent to help you undress.
The door creaks open, and Jonathan saunters in. Heâs holding two glasses of wine in his hand.Â
âI figure we pick up where we left off, what say you?â He sets the glasses down on a nearby table.Â
âI say you should leave,â you say, backing away slowly.Â
Jonathan loosens the tie around his neck.Â
âYouâre a woman with needs,â he says, stepping closer. It doesnât take many strides for him to cross the room. âIâm sure you understand that a man has needs as well.â
His gaze appraises you again, dragging over your figure and practically licking his lips.Â
âHe will kill you,â you spit.Â
âHe wonât,â Jonathan shakes his head. âBecause you wonât say anything, will you?â
Your back finds the wall, trapping you. Jonathan reaches out and tucks some hair behind your ear. âPretty little wife,â he murmurs. âPretty little trophy.â
Jonathan bends down and plants a kiss to your collar bone. Testing, to see how youâll react. He looks up at you, searching for signs of betrayal.Â
âDonât,â you say, voice small. Your hands find his shoulders, and you start to push back.Â
When you do, fury flashes in Jonathanâs eyes. This is no longer a game. At least, no longer a fun one. He captures your wrists in one hand and pins your arms above your head.Â
âYouâre going to take this like a good little whore,â he spits.
His other hand palms your breast roughly.
âIâll scream,â you bite.
âIâm family,â Jonathanâs eyes are dark, âyouâre just some gold-digging slut. Weâll see what happens. Who is believed.â
âJonathan,â a voice cuts through the air. Angry, uneasy.
Never in your life have you been relieved to hear it. Until now.
Jonathan goes still. He releases you from his grip, and smooths the fabric of his shirt before turning.Â
âI was wondering where you went off to. Only to find you groping my wife.â The words are venomous.
âTitus,â Jonathan nods. âYour wife has quite the insatiable appetite, doesnât she?â
Jonathanâs voice is light, almost jovial. But thereâs a tremble in it, and you can see the panic in his eyes. He clearly wasnât expecting to actually have to answer for this. âShe asked me up here,â Jonathan continues, stepping closer to Titus.
Titusâs eyes move from Jonathan to you, looking for something, anything, to validate what Jonathan is saying. A quiet anger simmers below the surface, ready to explode with any excuse.
With everything you have gathered about the Danforths, specifically about Titus, you know what will happen if you out Jonathan and his true motives. His fate will be sealed. And right now, you couldnât care less about him or his life. You give a near imperceptible shake of your head that Titus understands immediately.Â
âCome with me,â he says to Jonathan, turning on his heels and moving quickly from your room.Â
Jonathan turns to you, flashing a smile as he walks away. But the smile doesnât reach his eyes, and you know that he can feel how the air shifted.Â
The door closes. You hear hushed voices for just a moment, before the loud bang of a gunshot cuts through the air.Â
A heavy thud, then nothing.
Titus enters the room again. You see Jonathanâs legs on the ground on the other side of the door, his lifeless body already worthless, dead weight. The blood splatter blends in with the color of Titusâs vest, but you still see small specs around his collar and on his neck. The gun is still firm in his grasp.Â
âBlood is not easy to wash from silk,â he nods to you. âAnd itâs easier to clean the floors than an entire room, anyhow.â The way he says it so calmly, so rationally, shocks you more than the killing itself.
At this point, after all youâve been through, the violence should be second nature to you. There have been many sleepless nights spent reliving the lives youâve taken. Their faces, bloodied and screaming, calling out to you. Asking why. But it was self defence. It was all in the name of survival. Thatâs what you say to their decaying bodies in your nightmares, at least.Â
As horrifying as it is, you hope that you never one day grow numb to these careless acts of violence.Â
You havenât moved away from the wall yet, but your pulse has noticeably steadied. Titus sets the gun down on the table next to the glasses of wine and makes his way to you.Â
âYou should know,â Titus says, âI will always protect what is mine.â
You take a deep, steadying breath.
âAnd like it your not,â his voice drops low, âyou are mine.â
Titus reaches out for you. This is the first time that you donât flinch. The first time that Titus has reached for you, and your first thought is not of the possible and very likely damage he could inflict upon you. And has.Â
There is no ire in his words. You slide your hand in his.Â
âAre you hurt?â he asks, pulling you to the center of the room.Â
You donât argue as Titus turns you away from him. His hands drag from your hips, to your waist, up to your shoulders.Â
âNo,â you say, voice thin.Â
âGood,â he says.Â
His fingers find the top button of your dress, undoing it quickly. Your body stills.Â
One of his hands lingers on your waist, while the other drags the zipper down your back. Slow and controlled. Your breathing shallows.Â
Titus leans in, pressing a kiss to the base of your neck, then your bare shoulder. He pushes the straps of your gown down, the fabric giving way easily under his touch. The satin slips down your body, pooling at your feet.Â
Youâre left standing in front of him in your undergarments. Compared to the fear coursing through you when Jonathan touched you, this is different. You arenât afraid, not of Titus. Not now. This feeling is harder to name. Itâs almost curiosity. Almost.
Titusâs hands grip your bare hips. The touch shoots up your spine. Itâs not bruising, but firm. Heâs reminding you that he can, and will, do what he pleases. His mouth moves up your neck again. You donât realize how long itâs been since anyone has really touched you until now. Not your ex-fiance, not anyone.Â
Your body leans back to him without you realizing it, your back meeting his chest.Â
One of Titusâs hands moves slowly from your hip to the front of your panties. Just resting, not moving between your legs yet. Titus sets his chin on your shoulder, looking down at how your body reacts to him. Your breath catches in your throat.
âFeeling needy, are we?â Titusâs voice is low and gravelly right at the shell of your ear.Â
âN-no.â You donât even believe yourself when you whisper it.
âDonât lie to me, darling,â his fingers toy with the lacy seam.Â
As much as you can feel the heat growing between your legs, you canât get the context of this situation out of your head. What almost happened just 10 minutes ago, the dead body outside your bedroom door. The hands on you, and what else they have done to you.
âIâm-not-â you breathe.
Suddenly, Titus pulls away. You almost fall backwards, jolting back to yourself.
You turn to him, your face burning.
He canât meet your eye as he smooths the front of his vest. You canât quite read his face, but he looks almost disturbed, embarrassed.
âGood night,â he gives you a curt nod.
You watch him walk out, dazed. You have no idea what just happened, and youâve stopped breathing entirely.
As soon as the door shuts, you drop to your knees, overwhelmed with conflicting emotions. Your hand presses to your chest, heart clenching, pulse racing. Everything from this evening collides in your brain.Â
Jonathanâs leering, greedy gaze. The way Titus looked at you, angry, protective. How vulnerable he looked when he left. How your body eagerly accepted his touch. Itâs all too much.
Thereâs no sleeping soundly tonight.Â
Hours spent tossing and turning, you finally give up. Anxiety fills you all over again. Every sound, every creak in this god forsaken house, sounds like someone entering your room. You sit up, sleep deprivation pulling at your sanity. Thereâs no way youâll get any rest like this. Feeling alone and unsafe.Â
There is one room that you know no one will enter.Â
Until now, neither have you.
You pad down the dimly lit hall, a few lights guiding your way.Â
A large painting of the late Chester Danforth watches you walk by. His face is somber, stoic. You pause for a moment, feeling uneasy under his gaze. Titusâs eyes have the same look when heâs focused. You shake off the eerie similarities and push on.
You hold your palms to the heavy wood of Titusâs bedroom door, pressing your ear to try to hear any movement inside. All you hear is the racing pulse in your ears.Â
Trying to be as quiet as possible, you push the door open, just enough for you to slip through.Â
You see Titusâs sleeping figure illuminated by the moonlight. Heâs on his back, one arm resting on his chest, and one arm splayed out next to him. You approach slowly and quietly, just in case heâs a light sleeper.Â
Itâs almost strange, seeing him like this. Completely disarmed. Thereâs a softness in his features that you havenât been able to appreciate, what with his personality ruining it. You want to lean in and memorize him like this. The sharpness of his jaw, the slight curve of his nose, his long lashes.
Titusâs chest rises and falls steadily, clearly in deep sleep. You move quietly to the other side of the bed and slip under the covers, head resting over his outstretched arm.Â
For a few moments, you just watch Titus sleep. Like this, you can pretend. You can pretend that heâs not who he is, and that you married into a normal life. That Titus is a loving husband. That you are not constantly unnerved by him and confused by his motivations.Â
It lulls you to sleep.
Morning light streaming through the gap in the curtains wakes you softly. It takes you a moment for you to remember yourself and your surroundings. Everything comes back to you when you see Titusâs arm wrapped around your waist, holding you flush to his chest. His face is pressed against your hair.Â
Annoyingly, this was probably the best nightâs sleep youâve had these last few weeks, which pains you to admit.
One minute. You allow yourself one minute like this. To feel Titusâs arm around you and again, pretend this is normal. You want to melt into his embrace, and forget what heâs done.
But you donât want to risk him waking up like this, with his arms wrapped around you. Thereâs no way you would willingly give him that satisfaction.
You hold your breath and try to slip out from his grasp without waking him, almost tripping trying to contort yourself in such a way that makes as little noise as possible. When you straighten yourself out, Titus appears to still be sleeping. Thankfully.Â
You quietly sneak to his door and pull it open without another glance.Â
âSleep well?â his groggy, deep voice calls out to you.Â
You press your forehead to the door and curse quietly to yourself. When you turn around, Titus has one arm tucked behind his head, eyes on you. His mouth curves into a smug grin.
âDonât.â The word is a curt warning.Â
âCome back to bed, darling,â his voice is dripping with condescension.Â
You remember why all of that softness from last night was not real. The fact that you were able to pretend this was remotely normal was not real. It was all in your head. You will never have a normal life with Titus, not as long as he is who he is.Â
Face hot, you leave without another word.
-
âPernilla,â you look up from your book, âwhere is Titus?â
âThe guest room in the west wing,â she nods. Her eyes shift back and forth, and she looks uncharacteristically nervous.
âOkay,â you say, dragging out the end of the word. âWhy is he in there?â
She doesnât answer right away.
âYou know what,â you hold a hand up. âDonât worry about it.â
It takes you a second to even figure out where the west wing is- this house is far too big for normal people- and find the guest room.
You lean your head to the door and are immediately confused. All you hear is the sounds of sex. Whines, moans, and the animalistic grunts that can only come from your dear husband.Â
The door creaks when you open it, and falls heavily shut behind you.Â
âDarling!â Titus smiles when he sees you.Â
The girl, whoever she is, is bent over in front of him. Her hands are tied behind her back with thick satin bindings, face twisted in pain or pleasure, you're not sure. Then again, the line between them is thin, anyway.Â
Titus is thrusting into her at a dizzying pace, surely chasing his own release, not worried about the girl in front of him. His bare chest is glistening with sweat, biceps pronounced as he grabs the bindings of the girl in front of him, hauling her up and pressing her back to his chest.Â
âSheâs pretty, isnât she?â Titus asks, looking at you with amusement. He drags his tongue up her neck, gathering the sweat. She whimpers, leaning her head back to his shoulder.
Titus forces her face forward towards you. âMeet my wife,â he says into her ear.Â
âAre you trying to make me jealous?â You ask, crossing your arms. âThat would suggest I want you in the first place.â
You canât help your gaze from falling down to the girlâs poor pussy, where Titus moves in and out. Itâs the first time youâve seen him. All of him. You swallow hard, trying to keep your face flat.
âYou expect all of us to take a vow of celibacy, just because you have?â he smirks. âSit down,â Titus nods to the chaise across the room, âif you want to watch.â
The girl in front of him starts whining again. Titus covers her mouth with a firm grip. âShut your fucking mouth,â he growls.Â
You narrow your eyes. This was a no-win scenario. Leaving would imply that he got to you somehow. He could stay in here, fucking this girl in peace. Staying and watching would mean he could put on a show, and you would be subjected to whatever happened next. Or, worse, let him think you were turned on by this display. You wish you never walked in.
Arms still crossed, you walk towards the bed. Titusâs hips stutter slightly, clearly confused by this course of action. You grab the girlâs face with one hand, bringing her gaze to you.Â
âDoes that feel good?â you ask.Â
âMhmm,â she whimpers.Â
âDid he let you come?â you push the hair out of her face.Â
âN-no,â she whines.Â
Titus looks down at you, smile faltering.Â
With your eyes locked on Titus, you drag two fingers into your mouth, and press them against her exposed clit. She lets out a loud yelp.Â
âWha-what are you doing?â Titus groans, feeling the effects of your actions on his cock.
âCome on, come for me, let go,â you coo at the girl, caressing her clit as Titus continues to move inside.Â
His pace has slowed, too busy watching you.Â
Youâre not sure how long he has been using this poor girlâs cunt, but it doesnât take long for her to reach her peak.
âIâm coming,â she whimpers. âOh my god.â
You help her ride through it, watching Titusâs face as she squeezes him. He drops her down onto the bed face first, his face twisted.Â
âWhatâs the matter?â you smirk. âYou gonna come now, too?â
He looks at you, breathless, as it dawns on him. He can stop now, stave off the climax heâs right on the edge of, or find his release, and end this charade.
âBitch,â he mutters, moving inside the girl again.Â
âYour bitch,â you spit.Â
Titus is so sensitive at this point, that it takes three more thrusts for him to finish off inside the poor girl.Â
âShowâs over,â you shrug, turning to leave. âAnd make sure you clean her up before you send her away. Please.â
-
Two can play at this game.Â
Not that you want to hire an escort to fuck. Titus would clearly enjoy that.Â
In true Titus fashion, you saunter into the study, unannounced. In your clothes. Not the ones Titus bought for you. The ones he turned his nose down at when they were delivered in boxes.Â
Soft, dainty panties and a flowy nightgown that is far too short to be considered PG. It was your go-to sleeping outfit when you were trying to seduce your now dead ex-husband. Worked every time.
Titus's eyes rake over you, not even trying to hide his leering.
"Comfortable?" he asks, taking a sip of his whiskey.
"Very," you smile. You lie on the couch on your stomach, your ass almost completely out, and feet waving lazily in the air. You flip open a magazine, and try to pretend like itâs the most interesting thing youâve read in the last two months.
Titus clears his throat and moves the paperwork in front of him to the side of the desk. He leans back in his chair and justâŚwatches you.
You continue leafing through the pages, feigning ignorance. The quiet is unsettling, though. Every so often, you steal a glance at Titus, to find that sure enough, heâs still just watching.Â
Deciding to take it up a notch, you roll over onto your back. Your legs drape over the backrest of the couch, and the soft satin falls even further, exposing the entirety of your legs. Very little skin is left covered.
Titus clears his throat.
âYou have something to say to me?â you ask, not looking up from the page.
âJust that you are incredibly predictable,â Titus drawls.Â
One of your legs falls to the edge of the couch, completely exposing your panties. âWhatâs the matter, dear? Canât stand to look at what you canât have?â
Titus rises from his desk and moves towards you. The magazine falls from your grip. He just stares down at you at first, almost appraising you. When he reaches down, you think he may break his word, you think he may have snapped. He may take you right here on the couch.
But he grips the front of your panties, dragging the fabric firmly between the folds of your pussy, rubbing right against your clit.Â
Your jaw drops in a surprised, silent moan, eyes wide.
âYou think you can tempt me?â he says, his voice low and gravelly. His eyes arenât crazed. Intense, yes, but otherwise Titus is surprisingly calm. His grip on your panties tightens, increasing the friction on your clit.Â
A low whimper escapes you before you can stop it.Â
âThatâs not-â
âYouâll have to try harder, my dear,â he says, finally letting go. The fabric hits your skin with a sharp snap.Â
You yelp. Against your better judgement, and the soul still thriving in your heart, you are ashamed to admit how wet you are.Â
âSatan knows I want you,â he caresses the side of your face.
You have to will your eyelashes not to flutter, and your heart to stop beating so fast.Â
âBut like I said,â Titusâs gaze is heavy, eyes boring into yours, âwhen I have you, youâll be begging for me.â
You swallow hard, trying to get a fucking grip. This should not be turning you on, and yet.
And yet.
-
âWhat the fuck is going on in here?â Titus storms into the kitchen. The arguing, he ignored. It was when he heard your voice cut through the hall that Titus knew he needed to see what the hell was the matter.
He finds you standing there, thoroughly chastised by his tone.
âThey wonât let me cook,â you cross your arms.Â
The cooks look at Titus, eyes wide, not knowing what to do.Â
Titus takes a beat, closing his eyes for a moment, like heâs trying to calm himself.
âLeave,â his voice booms through the kitchen.Â
They vacate without another word. The entire kitchen leaves, a fury of kitchen clogs scurrying out of the room.
âOf course they listen to you,â you mutter.
âThey would listen to you,â Titus says, moving closer to you, âif you didnât ask them for things that directly contradict me. Now, what is this about?âÂ
âI wanted to make dinner,â you shrug. âThey wouldnât let me, kept offering to do it for me.â
âReally?â Titusâs eyebrows raise. âAn entire team of expertly trained chefs, and you think you can cook better than them?â
âItâs not about better,â you snap.
âFucking ridiculous,â he scoffs.Â
âLike you would even understand,â your voice rises.Â
âI donât!â his matches.
âI need some agency, Titus!â Youâre yelling now. The only person (alive) to dare raise their voice at Titus Danforth. âI donât understand how you live like this. I need to know that I can still do something for myself. That I can still take care of myself.â
âYou donât need to take care of yourself,â he hisses.
âItâs not a matter of need, darling,â you spit out the pet name. âYou obviously donât get it. Iâm sure Titus Danforth canât even make a fucking grilled cheese!â
He narrows his eyes at that. You think you may have angered him, struck a nerve, but you donât care. At this point, more than two months in, Titus has proven that he wonât lift a finger to you with the intent of causing pain. At least, not anymore.
âSit,â he points to the stool in the corner.
âTitus, Iâm not-â
âSit. Down.â He hisses. âI wonât say it again.â
You settle down on the stool, arms still crossed.Â
Titus takes a moment to orient himself before searching around the kitchen. He opens and closes multiple cabinets, not finding what heâs looking for.Â
âThis is painful,â you groan.Â
âShut up.â
âYou donât even know where anything is in here,â you roll your eyes.
He finally finds a skillet, and glares at you pointedly.Â
âCongrats,â you scoff.Â
He sets the pan on the burner and pilfers for everything else. Butter, sliced bread, cheese.Â
âCheddar, gouda, or havarti?â he asks over his shoulder, looking at the offerings in the fridge.
âCheddar and gouda,â you reply.
âOf course,â he mutters.
You watch as he builds the sandwich, the actions clearly foreign to him. Nearly tearing a hole in the bread as he spreads the butter, and cursing to himself when he realizes that he let the pan get too hot. You watch as the man who walks with his head high, all the confidence in the world, stumbles through the kitchen. For you.
âMy mother was a lot like you,â he says without removing his attention from the skillet. âShe married into the family. What she wanted was security, what she got was my father.â
He flips the sandwich, wincing slightly when he sees how dark this side is. You listen to him silently. âIn the end, she wouldnât let this life consume her. Until it ended her. And my father saw her as weak for it.â
When Titus turns the sandwich out onto a plate, the second side is much lighter than the first. He seems pleased with himself, sliding the plate down the counter to you.Â
âItâs a little well done,â you grumble.Â
âSatan help me,â he sighs, eyes cast towards the ceiling, flexing his hands at his sides.
You take the plate in your hands, looking down at it, and back up to Titus. âSo what youâre telling me is that your humanity died with your mother? Thatâs it? You are the way you are because she was the light? And then your daddy put it out?â
âWhat Iâm saying,â he grits his teeth. âIs that the world is not black and white. We are all good. We are all evil. You have to be the strongest in the room. You have know how to play the game.â
âIâm tired of your fucking games,â you take the plate and storm out of the kitchen.Â
âAnd by the way,â you pivot back for the last word. Apparently, you canât help yourself. You raise the plate. âThis is still not what I wanted. The grilled cheese was a joke. I was going to make myself a chicken quesadilla. So. Thanks for that. You proved that you can burn bread and that you donât listen.â
Titus just blinks at you. âIncredible.â
-
This cat and mouse is exhausting. You donât know how much longer you can do this, how much longer you can keep being the petulant, defiant bride.
One day, Titus is surely going to snap. He seems on edge as it is. When he gave you his word, he probably didnât think youâd last as long as you have- three months now. The teasing and taunting from both of you has gotten to be pathetic and draining.Â
Some days, you can almost feel your humanity eroding. Being locked away in the gilded cage, seeing no one, caring for nothing. It has a way of steeling you to the outside world and its problems in a way you swore wouldnât happen.
But then, youâll catch a glimpse of a story on the news. Or Titus will take you with him to the resort for a day of meetings. Being around people again, it reinvigorates you, grounds you, reminds you that there is something outside of the Newport walls.
âWe should come out here more often,â you look at him over your sunglasses.Â
âWhy, are you bored at the house?â he drawls.Â
You just stare at him.Â
âDonât look at me like that.â
You sit out by the pool of the penthouse suite at the Danforth Casino and Resort, while Titus paces back and forth on the phone. Every so often, his voice raises at whoever is on the other line. Eventually, you try to tune him out and lean your head back on the lounge chair.Â
âYou have a short temper,â you say when you feel his shadow cast over you, eyes still closed. âYou should consider therapy.â
âIâm in therapy. Itâs called a cigar club, very effective,â he responds. âI need to take care of some business down at the casino.â
You wave him off. âOkay,â you say, uncaring.Â
You expect him to stalk off, like he always does. But instead, he bends down and presses a rough kiss to your head. You wave him off.
âIâll be back shortly.âÂ
You mumble a response.
As the time passes, you get bored fast. After an hour, you decide youâve had enough. With the entirety of this resort at your fingertips, Titus thinks youâre going to stay locked up in this room?Â
Laughable.
You pull a sundress over your swimsuit, slide into some sandals, and take the elevator down.Â
Thereâs people everywhere. You wander the lobby, watching the uber wealthy fret over luggage and take pictures by the front entrance. You wonder, if they knew of the blood spilled in order to keep this thing afloat, would they still come? Still make their reservations, host their bachelorette parties? Or would they turn their heads, somber for a while, mumbling about thoughts and prayers, and still come back for more?
You move on, knowing the answer.
You see the cinnamon sugar curls of your dear husband, his back to you, talking to someone youâve never met. Theyâre standing in the doorway of the casino, having a heated discussion. You try to stay on the fridges, watching without looming, but it doesnât last long.Â
The man sees you, and immediately his demeanor changes, lightening up to something worthy of a show.
âAh, the wife,â his face lights up dramatically at the sight of you. You try not to roll your eyes at the address.
Titusâs head snaps in your direction. The heat behind his eyes fades, brows knitting together into something akin to concern. You step closer, plastering on a smile of your own.
âMrs. Danforth, lovely to make your acquaintance.â The man bows his head and kisses the back of your hand. Itâs not exactly inappropriate, but it still confuses the hell out of you.Â
âLikewise,â you reply, still unsure of what to make of him.
âIâm Jones, your husbandâs favorite business partner.â Jones flashes a mouth full of tacky veneers.Â
âRemains up for debate,â Titus deadpans.Â
âI hear you hold the humanity of our man Titus, here,â he grabs Titus by the shoulders, shaking him a little.Â
Titus clearly does not like that.
âWha- what do you mean?â you ask, your gaze flickering between them.
âEnough-â Titus starts.
âApparently,â Jones continues, âTitus has been making all kinds of changes with his new seat. And people seem to credit all of it to his marriage to you.â
In an instant, his smile is no longer joyful. Jones drags his gaze down your body, sizing you up, deciding what to make of you.Â
Titusâs jaw clenches. He opens his mouth to say something, but stops when you drape your arms over his shoulder. He brings a hand to your waist as you press your body to his side.Â
âWell, if you know anything about my husband,â you say, âyou know that he doesnât do anything on anyoneâs behalf. Afterall-â
You look Titus dead in the eye, your noses almost touching.
âHeâs not a man that can be controlled.â
Titusâs jaw works again, eyes refusing to lift from yours.Â
âRight,â Jones nods. âOf course.â
âGo away, Jones,â Titus grits, still not looking away from you.
Jones lingers for a moment longer.Â
âNow,â Titus raises his eyebrows and flicks his wrist in annoyance.
As soon as Jones is gone, you remove your hands from Titus. But he keeps his grip securely around your waist.Â
âI thought I told you to stay upstairs,â he mutters.Â
âYou didnât, darling,â you smile.Â
âIt should go without saying at this point.â
A hand firmly at the small of your back, he leads you back to the elevator. You grumble under your breath the entire way.
âWhat was that about, anyway?â You ask as soon as the elevator doors close.Â
âDonât speak to me right now,â he says without looking at you, pressing his fingers to the bridge of his nose.
âItâs a long ride to the top,â you say, âplenty of time.â
âDo you ever stop talking?â Titus snaps.Â
You narrow your eyes at him. âNo.â
Titus moves quickly. His hand wrapped around your jaw, not hard but forceful, pushing you against the shiny, opulent wall of the elevator. Your eyes widen.
âI have been very patient with you,â he spits. âAny other slut would have been bent over my knee a hundred times already. And still, you push me.â
âTitus,â your voice is thin. Itâs the only word you can get out.Â
Heâs completely pressed against you, and you feel every muscle and hard outline of his body.
âYou think youâre better than me, donât you? Higher, holier, cleanerâ he continues, âbut Iâve seen what those pretty hands are capable of. The violence, the destruction. You were one of us before I put the ring on your finger. Before our blood mingled on the page.â
You want to argue, but Titus is right. Whether or not it was self defense, you still did those things. You still hurt people. And lived to not regret it at all.
âYou want me to tell you that I want you? Huh?â Titusâs pupils are completely blown, voice harried. âYou want me to tell you that when I fucked that girl, I pretended she was you? What difference would it make?â
âTitus,â you croak again. You bring your hands up around his biceps. The action is small, but it does something to him. At the very least, it snaps him out of it. He presses his lips together, and with a frustrated growl, Titus releases you from his grip.Â
Your breath comes back to you all at once.Â
âDo not mistake my restraint for anything other than that,â he spits.Â
The elevator dings, and the doors slide open to the penthouse. Titus storms out without another glance at you.Â
Youâve completely lost it. Thereâs no other explanation for what you are feeling. This man has chased you, threatened you, and tried to kill you- multiple times. Heâs made you fear for your life.Â
But now, when you watch him pace the length of the patio from the other side of the sliding glass door, you twist the ring around your finger. You think about the serenity of his sleeping form. The way he protected you from his own family. The lengths he went to for the one thing in your life you held dear. Even that stupid, nearly burned grilled cheese.
Ursula was wrong when she said there was no goodness in him. She just wasnât looking in the right places.
Titus has won. Again. It doesn't bring you any joy. But what's worse is knowing you are trapped either way. And you are so tired of fighting, of pushing, of making your life harder. Wouldnât it just be easier to acquiesce? To give in to the part of yourself that isnât repulsed by any of this?
And really, how bad can selling your soul really be? In the grand scheme of things?
The sun dips down below the horizon. Room service has brought up your meal, and you sit in silence with Titus.Â
The sound of cutlery hitting against the plates is interrupted by Titusâs deep breath. Your attention snaps to him immediately.
âIâŚâ he starts
You look up at him from behind your glass. The sip of wine turns into a full gulp.
âI dismantled a terrorist organization in the Middle East.â
You set your glass down, nodding, trying to absorb this information.
âThatâs what Jones was referring to. He had an arms deal with them that is nowâŚvoid.â
Titus does not look proud or pleased. You try to catch his gaze, but he wonât look at you directly.Â
âWhy are you telling me this?â you ask carefully.
âYou asked,â he says.
After a beat of silence, you continue. âYou donât have to do anything on my behalf.â
âI donât.â Titus finally looks at you, his words heavy. âItâs hard to invigorate economic growth when those people are being slaughtered, so.â
Titus shrugs. He isnât eating anymore, silverware set down on his plate.Â
âOf course,â you nod.Â
You donât know what to make of this information. Would Titus have always made that decision? Was Jones right, are you somehow swaying him? Itâs something youâll probably never know.
Titus still wonât sleep in the same room as you. Now you realize, itâs not disdain, itâs temptation. The best way for him to ensure that he keeps his hands to himself is to make sure there is a physical wall between you.Â
Itâs late, but you canât stop thinking. The time you spend undressing, your thoughts are with Titus. Trying to figure out how you feel, how to move forward. What the right choice is in this impossible situation. Sleep isnât even an option right now.
You tighten the robe around your waist, wringing the straps in your hands. Your body and mind are at war with each other, fighting over control. But really, the choice is simple. Keep fighting, keep resisting, or take your place. Accept your fate. Make this system work in your favor.
And youâve come too far to remain a prisoner.Â
Your knuckles hit the door lightly, almost sheepishly. Itâs like youâre giving yourself an out if he doesnât hear.Â
âCome in,â Titusâs voice calls from the other side.
You slip in quietly, shutting the door behind you.
Titusâs hungry eyes watch as you cross the room. Heâs standing by the fireplace, stance wide, top buttons of his shirt open. The dim lighting of the room and low fire highlight his features, the ones you came to appreciate in the moonlight.
You twist the tie of your robe again, trying to steady your heartbeat.Â
âWhat is it?â TItus asks, crossing his arms.Â
You donât say anything for a moment, just looking around the room. The entire Newport house, and even the lodge, have Danforth written all over them. Old, ancient money, collections that would put a museum to shame. But this is the first time you are surrounded by Titusâs things. What he holds with value.
âI thought maybe we could sleep in the same bed tonight,â you say, meandering towards his desk. Titusâs eyes track your movements, but he doesnât stop you.
âYou thought?â Titus narrows his eyes at you.Â
You gently push a stack of books aside, fanning them out to read the covers. Most of them are ancient-looking notebooks, or books on finance. But one catches your eye.
The Portrait of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. The same edition as your very well-loved copy. Heâs been reading it, you can see the tabs and dog ears as evidence.
âYes,â you whisper, gaze meeting his.Â
When you finally approach Titus, he drops his arms to his sides. You reach for his shirt, carefully undoing the rest of the buttons. The fabric falls open, exposing the lightly freckled skin that youâve only seen once before. Titus watches your face as your eyes drop to his chest.Â
You raise your hands towards him.
Titus grabs your wrists. Your breath catches in surprise, but not fear.
âDonât toy with me.â His voice is a low warning.Â
âIâm not,â you reply. You are not trembling, you are not confused. There is not an ounce of mischief in your actions. Not this time.
He releases his grip, and you bring your hands to his shoulders, gently pushing his shirt down over his shoulders to the ground. You donât hide your appraising stare. His broad chest, his strong arms. Every move is slow and deliberate. Youâre taking your time, and Titus is taking you in.Â
"Say it," he says, still not raising his voice.
You chew on your bottom lip.Â
âI need to hear you say it,â his voice is still strong, but laced with less venom. Almost desperate. Almost.
"Titus," you look him in the eye, "I want you. Please.â
Titusâs eyes- though already dark- cloud over with something forceful. He clamps his hands around your waist, pulling you closer to him. His eyes move between yours and your lips, like heâs trying to make his mind up. Decide if you mean it, or if this is just a trick.
He takes you for your word.
His mouth presses against yours. Just like on your wedding night. Forceful, eager. Only this time, you kiss him back. Your mouth opens for him, taking his tongue against yours. This is the first time heâs kissed you since the wedding night. And that was completely one sided.
This time, you whimper into his mouth, and it spurs him forward.
Itâs not sloppy. Titus is many things, but not sloppy. Heâs eager, ready to take what he believes is his.Â
And as of now, you are. Completely.
He grabs at the tie of your robe, undoing it and letting the soft fabric fall, leaving you in your delicate lingerie. Your exposed skin prickles in the cold air. Itâs not the first time Titus has seen you like this. But itâs the first time heâs been able to drink you in, knowing that itâs all for him.Â
âOn your knees,â his voice is gruff, catching his breath.
The command runs through you.
You lower yourself to the floor, looking up at him through your lashes. Titusâs breath comes out heavy as he loosens the buttons at his waist. His eyes donât leave yours as he pushes the waistbands down, discarding both his pants and underwear at the same time.Â
Your eyes widen slightly at the sight of him, hard and ready. You think back to when you saw him fucking the escort. That was different. Now, youâre seeing him fully, right in front of you. Embarrassingly, your mouth waters a little.Â
When you think heâs going to come closer, Titus actually steps away from you. He looks smug as he settles back into an arm chair by the fireplace.Â
He watches you, a smile pulling at the corner of his mouth.Â
âCome here,â he waves.Â
Heat rises in your cheeks. You know what he wants. After a deep breath, you move to your hands and knees, and slowly crawl to him. He watches you cross the room, hungry and waiting. You push your face against his knee, resting your head on his leg.Â
âGood girl,â he smiles. The praise courses through you. You should be embarrassed. This should be upsetting to you. But for some reason, your panties are completely soaked.Â
Titus looks down. âYou know what to do.âÂ
You swallow once, bracing yourself. When you reach for him, and wrap your fingers around his length, Titusâs inhale sharpens. His smile falls fast. It makes you remember that he had been waiting for this, too. Even if he wasnât completely without sex in the meantime.
With your mouth wide, you look up at Titus and drag your tongue up his length, gathering the salty precum at the tip, watching for his reaction.Â
Titusâs mouth opens slightly, feeling your tongue against him. He reaches one hand behind your head, threading his fingers through your hair, and holds you steady.Â
âCome on,â he says, âtake it.â
You open your mouth as wide as you can, and he pushes your head down. One of your hands rests on his thigh, and when you take him as far back as your throat will allow, you squeeze gently. Itâs involuntary, like a muscle reaction.
And he stops.Â
Titusâs eyes close for a moment, feeling your wet mouth tight around him. âThatâs it,â he groans.Â
You gag slightly, and after a moment, Titus lets you up for air. Saliva drips from your lips onto his lap. He lets you take a moment before pushing your mouth back around him.Â
Itâs equal parts strength and trust. Titus pushes you down further and further each time, only stopping when your fingers curl gently at his thigh.Â
Eventually, Titus releases his grip, giving you autonomy. You donât relent, bobbing your head up and down, hand stroking the length your mouth doesnât reach. Titusâs fingers grip the arm of the chair, growing more and more restless the longer you work him.
âEnough,â he says. His voice is strong, but heâs slightly breathless. You try not to get too smug, knowing that you can elicit this reaction from him.
âEnough?â you ask, resting your cheek on his thigh again.
He motions for you to stand, and you slowly rise to your feet.
He rises along with you, capturing your mouth with his again. His hands grasp as much of you as possible. Itâs a frenzied kind of contact. After months of depriving him, Titus finally has you. And he canât stop touching you.
âYou drive me fucking crazy, you know that?â he mutters into your mouth.Â
You reach behind you for the clasps at your bra.
âNo,â he grips your arms and pulls away, âI want to do it.âÂ
âOkay,â you roll your eyes, just a little, and drop your hands, letting Titus reach behind you.Â
His eyes donât move from yours until the fabric falls away, exposing more of you. He takes you in, and canât help himself from reaching up and palming your breast, catching a hard nipple between his thumb and forefinger.Â
You hiss, the sensation shooting through you.
âSensitive?â he asks, dipping his mouth down to your chest.Â
You gasp and thread your fingers in his hair, holding him close. Titus holds you, hands splayed out on your waist and ass.Â
âPlease,â you whimper, running your hands down his arms.Â
âPlease what?â he mutters, standing over you again.
âPlease,â you breathe, âI need you inside me.â
Titus smiles, the tone of your voice clearly exciting him.
He kisses you, pushing you towards the bed. When the backs of your legs hit the mattress, you collapse onto your back.
âLet me see her,â he mutters, pushing your legs open. He presses his mouth to your panties, dragging his tongue over the wet spot thatâs formed.
âDonât make it weird,â you writhe under him.
âWhatâs the matter?â Titus looks at you from between your thighs. âEmbarassed?â
âNo,â bite back, but you feel heat rush your cheeks.Â
Titus pulls at the straps of your underwear, tugging the fabric down your legs.Â
He starts on your thighs, biting down on your skin, soothing the marks with his tongue. He pushes your legs up, knees towards your stomach to get a better angle. You are completely open and exposed to him, everything on display.
âFuck,â he hisses, licking his lips before kissing the skin just around your cunt.
âTitus,â you whine.Â
âLook at how wet you are,â he mutters against you. âWho is all this for?â
You whimper, desire clouding your thought processing power. His tongue slides quickly over your folds, just tasting you for now.
âSay it,â he grunts.Â
âFor you,â you gasp, back arching off the mattress. âItâs for you, Titus.â
âThatâs right,â he growls. Two fingers slide over your pussy, teasing, before slipping in easily. âMine.â
Your jaw drops at the sudden thrust.Â
âOh shit,â you hiss.
âI canât believe this is what youâve been hiding,â TItus says, slipping a third finger into you.
You canât think of anything remotely intelligent to say. The combination of Titusâs mouth on your clit, drinking you in, and his fingers sliding in and out, brings you to the edge faster than you wanted. It has been months, after all.
âTitus, Iâm so close,â you bring your hand down into his hair, pushing your hips closer to his mouth, chasing the release.
âNo,â he pulls away. âNot yet.â
You let out a frustrated groan. âWhat the fuck?â
âThe only way you get to come,â he stands upright, looking down at your desperate form, âis wrapped around my cock.â
You stare daggers, but open your legs for him anyway, as he slowly fists himself, moving closer.Â
Titus bends over you, a glint in his eye. He presses a firm kiss to your lips again, tongue sliding against yours. He swallows your gasp when you feel his tip graze over your pussy, teasing you.Â
âTitus,â you moan.Â
âWhat, darling?â he drops his mouth to your jaw, trailing wet kisses to your neck.
You buck your hips slightly, seeking out any kind of friction you can get.Â
âWords,â Titus growls, nose brushing yours. âTell me what you want.â
You kiss him, taking his bottom lip in your teeth as you pull away. âEnough with the teasing. Fuck. Me,â your eyes narrow.
âThatâs more like it,â Titus smiles.Â
âI told you,â he says, lining himself up with your entrance, âwhen I take you, you would beg for it.â
Any smart quips die in your throat when he suddenly thrusts inside of you. You take him all the way in all at once, pushing you to your limit.
âFuck,â Titus grunts. âLook at that. You take me so well.â
âTitus,â you breathe, voice wavering. âItâs too much. I canât.â
âYes, you can,â he says, holding your legs up over his shoulders. âYouâre going to be a good girl and take it.â
He starts moving, and your vision immediately starts fading at the edges. Youâre completely overwhelmed, voice already ragged.Â
âYou feel so good,â Titus says, pressing his face to your leg. He kisses your calf as he slowly pulls out before pushing all the way back in.
Titus watches your face, watches for the moment that your whines change from pain to pleasure. Only then does he start to pick up the pace.Â
âTalk to me, darling,â he pants. âI want to hear you.â
âYouâre splitting me apart,â you moan.Â
âYou want me to stop?â his mouth curls up into a sly grin.Â
âNo.â The word slips out quickly. Too quickly.Â
Titus presses a smug smile to your leg.Â
âDonât,â you snap, but the word is not as threatening as you want it to be.
Titus moves his hand down between your legs, pressing gentle circles over your sensitive clit.Â
Your hands find purchase on the sheets, gripping them so tightly you almost cramp. Itâs impossible to keep your body still, arching and writhing under him.Â
The climax you were so cruelly denied just moments ago builds back up in your belly.
âPlease,â you look up at Titus. This is as close as you will let yourself get to literally begging him.Â
âHow could I deny that face,â Titus smiles down at you. The mischievous glint is gone, his eyes only focused on your and your breath.Â
Broken, desperate sounds claw their way from your throat as you finally feel the euphoric release you were chasing. The orgasm washes over your entire body, all the way down to your toes.Â
Titus feels it, too. His jaw goes slack and his hips stutter, feeling your walls squeeze around him.Â
âFuck, sweetheart,â he moans, fucking you through it.Â
âYou need- ugh- Titus please,â you press your hands on his hips, completely over-stimulated and overwhelmed.Â
He pulls out of you, but not without a sly grin plastered over his face.Â
âToo much for you?â Titus bends over you and kisses your neck.
âDonât,â you groan. But your legs wrap around his hips, holding him close.Â
âI think Iâll say whatever I please,â he kisses you hungrily. âAfter all this time, Iâm going to enjoy this.â
You drag your nails down his freckled back, pulling small noises from Titus.Â
âWe need to set some rules,â you whisper into his ear.Â
Titus pulls away, propping himself up over you.Â
âExcuse me?â He raises an eyebrow.
You grip Titusâs shoulders and push him, rolling the both of you over until youâre straddling him. Based on his expression, Titus is surprised, but not upset.Â
With the new position, and your senses finally coming back to you, you smile down to Titus.Â
âI want to sit in on council meetings,â you say, rubbing your cunt over Titusâs dick.Â
âThatâs not-â
âI will.â You cut him off, leaving no room for an argument. âYou donât have to include me in every discussion, but I will be there.â
Titus rests his hands on your hips, helping you hold yourself up on shaky legs.Â
With Titusâs dick in your grip, you try to sink down on him, only able to take a few inches at first.Â
âThatâs it,â Titus mutters, squeezing your leg reassuringly.Â
Unable to control your whimpers, you lower yourself further and further.Â
With one final push, you arch your back over Titus, taking him all inside of you. He brings a hand up to your breast bone, dragging all the way down your stomach before gripping your hips.
You move above him, slowly and intentionally. The fervor of moments ago has melted into something almost religious. Two bodies becoming one, meeting each other where they are.Â
âI will not be your pet.â
Titus just moans, looking up at you with those pathetic eyes. For a split second, you see his bravado drop. He looks completely at your mercy as you ride him. Your hips move back and forth, grinding against him.
âI will not be your trophy. I will not be your silent arm candy. I am your wife, and you will treat me as such.â You lean forward, gripping his shoulders for stability.Â
âYes,â is all Titus manages. His voice is beginning to thin, the same pleasure in you finding its hold on him.
âAnd in return,â you bite your lip, letting yourself feel this without shame or embarrassment. âI will truly be your partner. Completely. Body and mind.â
Titusâs eyes flash dark, the aggression taking hold again. âYes.â
He looks up at you, licking his lips, moving his hands to grip your ass. His hips buck upwards, picking up your slow, deliberate pace. It catches you off guard, your grip tightening on his shoulders and leaving small half moons under your nails.Â
You lean forward over him even more, allowing him to control the pace. You are almost completely overwhelmed by pleasure, feeling him hit that spot deep inside you that makes you squirm.Â
âTitus,â you moan right into his ear. âIâm gonna come again.â
Titus brings a heavy hand down onto your ass, pulling a yelp from you.Â
âYeah?â Titus grunts. âGreedy, greedy girl. Gonna come on my cock again?â
âMhmm,â you nod your head, eyes closed.
âGo ahead,â Titus brings his hand down again, squeezing your ass roughly. âIâm going to fill that greedy cunt. Claim you once and for all as mine. Forever.â
When you fully collapse on top of him, face buried in the crook of his neck, Titus presses a kiss to your shoulder before sucking a bruise to your skin. The feeling of his teeth grazing you, leaving little marks, pushes you over the edge.Â
You come again, hard, with his name on your lips.
The second you clench around him, crying out for him, Titus loses himself inside you. He buries himself deep, not letting up until heâs sure heâs completely spent.Â
Your body is almost completely useless, just dead weight on top of Titus. He presses another kiss to your shoulder before carefully rolling you off him, pulling out of you slowly.Â
You lay on your back, trying to regain control of your breath, watching Titus sit up against the headboard. You reach your hand out, gently dragging your fingertips against his leg. He takes your hand in his, interlocking your fingers and pressing a kiss to your knuckles.Â
âIs this what love is supposed to feel like?â he asks.
The question catches you completely off guard. You blink, trying to understand.Â
âThis is the closest we are going to get,â you say, curling your body around him.
âI love you,â Titus says, pressing a kiss to your lips.Â
Something foreign blooms inside of you. It canât be love. You have felt love before. For your mother, your friends, and your ex-fiance- before he tried to kill you, obviously.Â
This thing with Titus is different. Everything that has led up to this moment compiles together into something like attachment. Your souls are linked forever. When you look at him, you just feel like heâs a part of you.Â
The woman you were a few months ago is no more. Sheâs had to adapt to her surroundings.
âI-â you start, resting your head on his shoulder. âI love you, too.â
You canât be sure, but you think you may mean it.
well yes. i love how complex titus is, he wonât touch her until she wants him, but he fucks an escort. he doesnât care what she does, he finds her necklace and reads her favorite book. this was everything, so well written, i love the characterization. oh my goodness i cannot wait to read what happens next
Andrew who wonât let you do anything when youâre pregnant SIIIGH and since ur not supposed to be on ur back you just HAAAAAVE to sit on his face :(
TW: Pregnancy // MDNI
He's just so nervous the entire time that you're pregnant, especially if its your first baby together :(( he's wanted a family for sooo long and now he's having one with the love of his life? safe to say Andrew will be a bit overbearing about your general wellbeing from the start.
Pope doesn't want u fussing around the house or exerting yourself too much (which in Pope's POV is basically doing anything except sitting down and resting your swollen feet). he's stressed out of his mind when you try to help with even the most menial chores that you could still totally do yourself, and wants to be there with you anywhere you go outside the house "in case something happens."
He's fussy about sex. not that he doesn't think his lovely partner isn't at their sexiest, all big and round with his baby because you're glowing under his attentive care, but Pope's a big guy to say the least and his mind is screaming that he's going to crush you by mistake in the heat of the moment.
Missionary is out of the question, also because you're not supposed to be on your back. Doggy is absolutely out of the question because he's worried your arms will get tired and you'll fall on your belly. You two tried spooning but he couldn't get as deep as you liked and when you tried cowgirl Andrew got sucked out of the mood when you started panting and heaving from all the bouncing you were doing
So sitting on his face it was if you wanted to get off. and God did you want to get off, your pregnancy hormones coupled with Andrew strutting around all bulging muscles, building the nursery's furniture and baby-proofing the house making you wetter than ever.
"You're so wet," Andy huffs in between peppering kisses on your wet lips. His big, rough hands hold you safely above his face, fingers digging ever so slightly into the soft flesh of your thighs so Pope makes sure that you're not going anywhere. "This all for me?" He presses a hard kiss to the your inner thigh, nuzzling the soft flesh bracketing his freshly shaven cheeks before returning back to your needy cunt.
And trust that Pope loooves eating you out, it's his favorite thing to do ever. He's not saying much but every grunt and groan escaping his chest is music to your ears.
"So sweet..." he mumbles dazedly in between sucking on your clit and lapping at your cunt, more talking to himself than you. "Taste so good, momma..." Pope whines, rubbing his face across your lips.
He tugs you even closer, moaning when your ass and pussy press flush to his face, his free hand kneading your thigh like dough while the obscene slurping sounds coming out his mouth and the squelching of his fingers in your cunt burn your ears and cheeks.
It's so much that you have to hold onto his waist for dear life, Pope not even giving you the chance to grind onto his face with how he's pulling you back for more and more and more. The bulge in his boxers calls to your greedy mouth, the outline of his hard cock visible with a wet patch at the tip, but Pope's mouth is distracting you way too much for you to even concentrate on sucking him off.
Not that Andrew asked for a bj. he's too hyperfocused on your perfect, puffy pussy to do anything about his own needs, mouth and fingers incessant in fucking you until you're all stupid and sexdrunk, and even then he's not letting up.
"Please bunny, jus' a lil' more," whining against your swollen slit, index and middle finger still working at your silky walls, desperate to coax another orgasm out of you. When you look back Pope's face is soaked, your slick glistening on his swollen lips and chin and up to his nose. "Just give me one more, yeah? one more, promise."
Husband!Andrew Cody who sets it in stone in your house that Sundays are for cleaning.
MDNI 18+
He's pounding on your kids doors, waking them up while holding a dirty laundry basket. "Hey get up! Help your momma clean this house." He's shouting at the closed doors.
You're smiling, wiping down a counter as a fall breeze floats through an open window. Soft halloween beats playing from your TV in the living room. Andrew's kissing your cheek in passing on his way to the laundry room.
Your kids emerge sleepily from their rooms, groaning and sitting at the island where you put plates of breakfast in front of them. Andrew comes back and you pop a strawberry into his mouth before he kisses you.
Your kids groan and whine with a couple "gross"s and that only makes you kiss him harder and they groan again, making you pull away giggling. It smells like pumpkin candle you have burning in your living room all through the house.
He smiles and stands behind you as you watch them eat and talk about their Saturday nights. Your husband cages you in from behind hands setting against the marble of the island as he leans his chin on your shoulder, listening in too.
"You" he points to your son, "are gonna vacuum the living room after you eat, and you", he points to your twin daughter, "are gonna mop this kitchen after you eat, hm?" He rounds the island, grabbing the sides of both their heads and kissing them before nodding towards your shared bedroom.
You pour them some orange juice and then follow him. He pulls you in, closes the door and presses you against it, kissing your neck. "Andrew" you giggle, hands landing on his shoulders, he grunts into your neck.
"Love you s' much." He says lowly, nipping at your earlobe. "Love the life we've built." You swallow thickly pulling back and cupping his face in your hands. "I love you too" you frown in adoration, pecking him on the lips.
He growls and picks you up by the bottom of your thighs, and laying you back against the bed as you giggle kissing him. He crawls over you just as you hear the vacuum start in the living room.

making a scene at dinner bc you want to w/ husband jack
jack abbot x fem!reader
heels clack across the pavement as you might as well be stomping away from jack, arms crossed over your chest, lips twisted in a little pout. âno.â you say, with a petulant huff.
âsweetheart,â he calls after you, passenger door still open. âsweetheart, get in the car.â
still frowning, you twist your neck to look at him over your shoulder to send him a furrowed brow, before continuing to walk away from him. he exhales.
it was a little, stupid thing. but little, stupid things to you were never just that, and so the waitress and her silly smile and the fact that she laughed absentmindedly at an inside joke between you and your loving husband immediately turned into: she wants you, she was flirting with you, and you flirted back!
none of that, of course, were actually verbalized to jack. instead, you sat in your chair and sulked, ordered another cosmopolitan, sulked some more, then ordered another cosmopolitan, until jack decided dinner was over and it was time to get you home and investigate what the hell got you looking so sour in the midst of what had started as a pretty good night.
jack shuts the door to his truck, one hand in the pocket of his slacks as the other massages his jaw. âsweetheart, come on.â he calls after you again, as you traipse down the street. when he realizes youâre not stopping, he begins to follow after you. âyou canât walk all the way home, honey.â
âi can,â you huff, despite the fact that the balls of your feet have already started to rub themselves raw against the sole of your manolo blahniks. âiâll call a cab.â
âyou got your wallet with you?â he asks.
your jaw shifts. because, of course you donât. you donât think youâve brought your wallet out on a date with him in the last year.
jack doesnât wait for an answer, already knowing. âso how the hellâre you gonna pay for the ride, huh?â
you look at him over your shoulder again, still pouting as you reach the crosswalk. âwhatever.â
he lengthens his stride until he catches up to you, his hand, warm and heavy, resting on the dip of your waist. âthe hellâs goinâ on?â he asks, voice low and raspy. warmth, sticky and strong, settles in your lower belly as you lock eyes underneath the streetlamp. another petulant huff, before you turn your face away from him again.
with exasperation, he sighs, tilting his head up to look at the sky as if to ask what it is he did to deserve this, and moreover, why he feels like heâs right where he wants to be.
âwhat? câmon, honey, tell me. whereâd i fuck up, huh? canât fix it you donât tell me.â
sad, round eyes look up at him once again. âshe liked you.â
his brows quirk upwards. âthe waitress?â
almost timidly, you nod.
his expression loosens as he sighs. âokay, so what?â
âshe laughed at our joke,â you whine. âand you laughed at her joke!â
âi was being polite to a service worker.â
âyou laughed at her joke. she was givinâ you fuck-me-eyes the whole time, i swear,â you huff, folding your arms tighter over your chest.
âsweetheartââ
âno!â you interrupt, shifting your body to face him as you drop your arms, purse flopping down against your thigh. âshe wasâshe was flirting, i saw! andâand she wanted you, anââanâ youââ
âand i what?â he asks, grabbing hold of your wrist from where youâd started poking a finger into his chest. he rubs little circles into the joint with his thumb. âsweetheart, take a breath. come on.â
you do, lips still downturned in this sweet little frown.
he nods, his voice shifting to something gentler. âokay. okay?â
again, you nod, quiet. a little embarrassed.
âyou think i put this on your finger just to act a fool over someone else? huh?â he asks, thumb shifting to toy with the shiny diamond ring on your ring finger. âthink she didnât see it at the table?â
bashfully, you shake your head. âbutââ
âah-ah. iâm talkinâ, baby.â you quiet. âfuck kinda business does she have flirting that openly with a happily married man?â he asks.
ânone.â
âthatâs right, none,â he says, lifting your hand to press a kiss over the ring. âand iâm sorry i made you think all that. didnât mean to.â
pouting, you mumble, ââs okay.â
âyeah?â he asks, pulling you closer by the hand, pressing his nose into your temple before kissing at it. âif another waitress ever does that again, iâll be givinâ her the stink eye the whole time.â you giggle. âiâm serious. gotta make it clear iâm taken.â
âyeah, yâdo,â you murmur, as he wraps his free hand around your waist to pull you into his body. you bury your face into his chest. âshe was so desperate.â
âso desperate,â he humors you, rubbing his hand in circles into your lower back. he gives your ass a little squeeze. âyou done now? you okay?â
tilting your head up to rest your chin against his sternum, you nod.
âokay,â he chuckles, eyes wrinkling. âgonna let me take you home?â
again; you nod.
âalright,â he hums, letting out a little sigh as he grabs your hand, tugging it lightly as he leads you back to his car. âjesus, baby. starting to think you do this just to get a rise out of me.â
you giggle. âa little bit.â
he turns his head to look at you, a brow raised, before he chuckles, shaking his head. âcâmon. let me take my pretty girl home. gotta make it up to her.â
heâd love to tell you you were being moody, a little dramatic, that thereâs no need to make a scene on a date night heâd been planning for weeks, but thatâd be denying him of the fact that, despite all the stress you give him sometimes, he wouldnât have it any other way.
pope whoâs usually super quiet around you bc he never knows what to say, so you have to teach him how to express his emotions and he catches on immediately and always tells u how much he loves uuu :((
oh my god i love this so so much :(
cuddling with him and saying softly "i feel really happy right now. do you feel happy, andy?"

fluffy pope thoughtsâŚâŚ ok currently what iâm been thinking asking pope to send you selfies bc heâs so cute and dumb. does he care what he looks like. oh no is he insecure :( does he try to get a cute one. and then you tell him how adorable he is :( heâs the love of my life
i wrote a whole thing for this and then tumblr deleted it cause it didnt like shawn's popey selfies :( but he does not get insecure!
you ask him for selfies so he sends you pictures of himself with a straight face as he goes about his day and you always tell him he's the prettiest boy in the world.
you never ask him to smile or pose. he just goes đ and they are the world's best selfies and you make them your new lockscreen and homescreen every time !!!!!
to further my obsession with big dick!pope, can you imagine how crestfallen his face looks before he tells you? he genuinely thinks heâs sending you to the electric chairâŚ
youâve just gotten home from your first date night as an official couple, and youâre leaning back on the bed watching him. big hand spread across his black boxer briefs, jaw clenching as he pouts & grits his teeth. you reach out your arms to grab at him, and he brings one arm to firmly wrap around your forearm, his other hand applying pressure to his growing bulge.
confused, and always adoring, you look up at him in silent questioning. he seems to chew the words, weave them around in his mouth before saying them.
âiâmâŚ. iâm big, sweetheart.â his veiny arm flexes as he lightly squeezes the bone of your wrist âitâs- it might be a lot. t-too much, i might be too much. i understand if-if you donâtâŚ. want to.â
He sits by the tub while youâre talking a bath, occasionally dipping his hand into the water to make sure youâre not going to overheat. Heâs carefully reading the label of the bubble bath you used and googling it following the words âpregnant womenâ.
He goes with you to every single appointment, asking more questions than you do. On the way home he makes sure your seatbelt doesnât slip over your stomach, he absolutely never lets you drive.
Anything you eat heâs googling if itâs ever affected any pregnant woman. He has absolutely no problem waking up in the middle of the night and run to the gas station to grab your weird cravings.
He measures your stomach every week to make sure youâre growing at an acceptable healthy rate. He buys one of those high dollar at home ultrasound machines and checks your babyâs heart every Sunday.
He makes sure to buy the best prenatal, doing hours of research on them before paying $70 a bottle. He buys the safest car seat and stroller, he buys you a new car, making sure its crash test is almost perfect.
Heâs nervous about sex, asking the doctors if theyâre sure itâs okay. He insists on only thrusting his cock halfway inside you in missionary so you flip the both of you and take him fully. He groaning and snapping his eyes open, gasping your name and putting a hand on your belly.
Bonus: after the baby if you ever have a clogged milk duct he absolutely never gets grossed out or hesitates to suck it out, soothing your breast with his hand to try to help ease the pain.
Thatâs his baby and his woman!!!! He does not play about yâall.
mmm just thinking thoughts about how jack would handle women closer to his age flirting with him in public while reader is around⌠oop- because part of me thinks heâd be kind and accept a compliment but then the other half of me is like he also wouldnât play about his girl and make it knownnn (assuming readers younger hehe im in my 20s so this is self indulgent)
oh i am SAT for this train of thought my love!!
having jack trail behind you in the grocery store as you shop for this weeks dinners. it being summer and hot as shit, heâs wearing cargo shorts that you bought for him. his prosthesis is on full display and a woman with similar wrinkles to him approaches him with a sickly sweet smile when heâs down the aisle from you.
she says something flirty about how handsome he is and how she bets he can still âdo it allâ even with one leg. jack falters for a second, not knowing what to respond to such a crude comment without you there, since youâre usually the one whoâs up to date on dirty innuendos due to your youthfulness.
when the lady asks him how he stays active at âtheir ageâ, jack gestures behind him to where he prays youâre still standing.
âmy girlfriend takes great care fâme. just loooves helpinâ me take this artificial limb off at the end of the day. and i always get on my knees for her as a thanks in return.â
he accompanies his blunt words with a conversation ending, sly ass smirk and the older ladyâs lips part in shock at his brazen admission.
you see her scurry away by the time you waltz back over to him. âwhat was that about jackie?â
jack simply shrugs and throws an arm around you, not giving the woman another glance.
âshe just wanted to know if something in the store was still in stock.â he places a kiss to your forehead before pushing the cart for you. âtold her that it was sold out indefinitely.â
a take on j cody (or j'cody as i like to call him)
jâs loyalty is not actually based on who treats him well. itâs based on what people represent to him
there is no amount of kindness the codys could have shown to j, before or after smurf's death, that could have made up for julia being ostracized and abandoned
j doesn't care that his uncles aren't manipulating him or whether they have good or bad intentions or whether they played a role in julia's abandonment. it doesn't matter that deran took him on bike drives when he was 5 or that pope tells him to talk to him if he's scared, or that he comes to julia's grave with him and tells him stories about her.
in j's mind, he doesn't need a new family. he doesn't need the codys to take him in. he's julia's son, and the codys will always represent the life that he and his mother deserved but never lived :(
you are so right, and i love analyzing the family dynamics. i was so shocked by the ending the first time i watched it (bc i was so focused on how i could insert myself into the plot and be andrewâs gf duh) but upon rewatch im analyzing j and hes so interesting to me. he tells nicky im angry all the time for good reason bc the life he and julia lived didnât have to be like that. any one of them couldâve reached out, they had so much and turned their back on julia, and that betrayal runs deep, and itâs almost shocking that the boys donât care. theyâre so caught up in their own lives, so privileged, do they even care about who j is
it's especially jarring realising that julia wasn't even no contact with the codys after she got kicked out. like smurf abandons her under a bridge under the guise of taking her to rehab, no belongings, nothing. but she was still close enough with the family that she was bringing j around, letting him play with his uncles, up until he was school age?? they seem to remember him and be somewhat fond of him.
so it's not even that they didn't care about j or know him, they just never helped him or julia out with anything, probably because smurf intervened before any meaningful bond could form between julia and the other boys. we see this in the flashbacks too: no matter how much julia tried to reach them, none of the cody boys could ever challenge smurf once she decided she needed to isolate julia
i think it's less that they're privileged (although i suppose they are) and more that they've been manipulated into being emotionally and financially reliant on smurf and so can't disagree with her about anything. if they tried to help julia, they knew what would happen because smurf threatened pope with it: they'd lose their home, their protection, their family
yes!!!! fucking smurf manipulating them!!! and through that manipulation was there acceptance that thatâs just the way things are, at least for craig and deran, ofc itâs different for pope.
and i guess what i mean w privilege, focusing on class, which is mostly emphasized in s1 when j is given money to buy new shoes etc, and they donât ever talk about it, but then the betrayal/anger j feels runs so deep that even if asked, would he open up? when nickyâs shot, and he missed a meeting to clean up her blood, he doesnât bring it up. moments like this, itâs like yeah it was always going to end like that.

You know you shouldnât. Itâs only one more night. Buttt quite frankly, youâre a little high maintenance when it comes to Popeâs cock. You canât help yourself. No, like, you literally canât help yourself. Neither your bright pink vibrator, nor your fingers felt even remotely close to the real thing. His real, big, hard thing.
Pope and the guys left the day before to scout out a potential job in San Jose. Theyâd spend two nights and be back tomorrow afternoon. So, to your chagrin, youâre left alone and very sexually frustrated. Craig sent you a group selfie earlier of the four of them at lunch in some sports bar and grill. Your man looks veryyy unamused but sooo very sexy. Heâs wearing black on black with the aviators to match, his auburn curls in messy tufts from the wind. Heâs got a tight lipped, somewhat smile while sitting next to J, both of them nursing cold beers in frosty glasses. Craigâs text reads âOnly way I got him to pose for this was bc I told him I was sending it to u.â
Your pussy fucking flutters, and your stomach does a little somersault. Fuck, heâs so handsome. Such a man. A buff, strong, older man who was respectfully railing the fuck out of you just over twenty hour hours ago. Without even realizing, one hand slides down your stomach and into the waistline of your floral panties. Youâre rolling your bottom lip between your teeth, rubbing slow circles into your clit while still staring at Pope in the picture. You close your eyes and play back the night before he left, when he fucked you deep into the mattress, legs hiked around his hips with a pillow under your lower back so he can fuck you deeper. He was pounding into you so hard and deep that you could feel his balls slapping against your asscheeks. âF-fuckâŚgonna miss this pussy so much. Donât wanna leave you,â heâd said, relentless as he railed into your sopping cunt while placing wet kisses all over your face.
You get lost in the memory, your headâs in outer space. Itâs the reason you didnât hear the front door open and click shut. And itâs the only way you didnât notice Pope standing in the doorway until he cleared his throat. You freeze, mortified from head to toe. Your eyes tear up from both the embarrassment and the accidental edging you just gave yourself. Pope looks from your guilty face, to your glistening pussy, to your phone on the bed. Your heart is racing, and youâre unsure if you should say something or let him speak first. You canât muster up the courage to get even a syllable out, and you your shoulders finally drop a little when he starts.
âWhatâs going on here?â His eyebrows raise in an expectant pause. When you donât say anything, he continues. âWhat? I donât satisfy you, sweetheart?â
âNo! No, no, no. Andrew thatâs not it. I-â
âDo I neglect you so much that you canât even wait two days without touching yourself? Huh? Is that how you feel?â he asks provactively.
âNo, Andy. Itâs not that. Craig-â
âCraig??? Why is fuckinâ Craig in this conversation?â His voice is raised and tight.
âFuck, Andy please let me finish!â you say, frustrated tears pooling at the corners of your eyes.
âOh, you wanna finish? Should I leave the room?â Ouch. Your cheeks have to be scarlet at this point, and a prickly heat spreads all over your body.
âNo! Andy, want you. Nothing feels like you,â you whine. âIâm sorry, itâs jusâ I missed you and Craig sent me that picture and-â He walks toward the bed and grabs your phone, eyeing the picture youâre referencing to. He looks from the picture to you, a glittery amusement present in the inky blacks of his pupils. You had zoomed in quite a bit on him in the picture.
âYou were touchinâ yourself to that picture of me? You shake your head âyes.â Sure you werenât looking at one of them?â When he says this he means it as a jealous jab at you, but his eyes deceive him. His eyes are insecure; vulnerable. Worried about what heâs always been insecure about - that heâs not enough for you.
âPlease help me Andy. Canât do it without you.â You give him your biggest puppy dog eyes and the poutiest bottom lip you can. You spread your legs open further. And he canât resist. Who was he to deny his baby when she missed him so much she got herself all worked up over a blurry picture???
He steps out of his boots and peels his shirt off. Your pussy clenches around nothing at the sound of his belt clinking as he gets his jeans off. He pulls his boxers down, heavy dick slapping against the swell of his firm belly. You lick your lips, hungry like a jungle cat.
He grabs your legs to pull you toward him. He brings you to the edge of the bed, hiking your hips up and legs around his waist. He grabs the base of his cock, sliding it up and down your slick pussy. He taps it against your clit teasingly. Your brows scrunch and you whine at the sensation, impatient and eager to feel him inside of you.
âTell me you missed me,â he whispers huskily.
âMissed you so much Andy, thought about you all night last night, and all day today, and-â Your babbling is cut off by the feeling of him pushing into you. He canât help it, his cock was just throbbing at the sound of your sweet voice going on and on about how much he occupies your thoughts when heâs gone. You both moan as he bottoms out, your chest arching up into him, desperate to feels his skin pressed to yours.
âTell me you need me, honey. Câmon, tell me Iâm the only one who can make you feel this good,â he whispers huskily into your ear while thrusting deep into you.
âF-fuck, need you Andy! Youâre the only one, nobody could ever make me feel the way you do,â you whine, nails pressing into his taut back muscles. You can tell heâs been tense, and that he needs this too. Two days of surveillance in a truck with Craig, Deran, and J could not have been ideal for him.
âShit, if she keeps grippinâ me like that Iâm not gonna last long,â he grumbles, eyes screwed shut and brows pulled close together. His cheeks and chest are rosy, and the constellations of freckles dancing across his chest feel warm beneath your hands. You got yourself fairly wet before he came home unexpectedly, so youâre already on your way to an orgasm. And letâs face it, Pope is always needy for you - all the fucking time - so he doesnât last too long as it is đ Which you never mind of course, when the way he fucks you is this fucking good.
He snaps his hips harder, heartily chasing his high and desperate to get you to yours. Needy little thing (as if heâs not), canât wait two days without him. But he loves that you need him. He loves the way you fall apart on his cock, squeaking and squealing beneath him each time the mushroomy tip of his cock hits that special, spongey spot. He loves getting you so fucked out that you canât even form a single thought in that pretty brain of yours. Itâs all ooey gooey mush, just melting and melting until itâs like laffy taffy on a hot day. His hips stutter and his thrusts get sloppy. He buries his face into the crook of your neck, his groans and whimpers muffled against your skin. You completely wrap your legs around him, taking him as deep as you possibly can.
âTell me again,â he grumbles into your shoulder. Youâre so high above your body it takes you a second to register that heâs even fucking talking.
âHuh?â you ask.
âTell me again - oh f-fuck - tell me that you need me. Tell me you want my fuckinâ cum in this pussy baby.â
âOh Andy, need you sooo fucking bad! Need your cum in my pussy honey, wanna feel you leaking out of me,â you whine. And the bubbles of white, hot heat in both your lower abdomens burst - youâre a a mess of trembling and tangled limbs. He kind of collapses on top of you, but is careful not to crush you. He lets his bottom half rest against you but doesnât put his full upper body on you.
âFuck, fuckinâ love you so much,â he says after a quiet moment - filled with nothing but the sound of your rapid breaths slowing down and evening out; falling back into rhythm with each other.
âOh Andy I love you too. Donât ever want you to leave again.â You know thereâll be other jobs he has to leave for, and that he canât promise you that. But hey, whatâs that saying? Distance makes the pussy grow wetter? Because if every time he gets back he fucks you like this, you might be able to cum around to the idea.
