Is that LILY EVANS stepping out into Diagon Alley? Ministry records tell us that they were born on 30 JANUARY and are a 22 year old, MUGGLEBORN who works as a MEDIWITCH AT ST. MUNGO’S. Some have said that they can be described as being EMPATHETIC, KIND, & LOYAL, however, they also see themselves as being OPINIONATED, STUBBORN, & HOT-HEADED AT TIMES. Apparently, SHE look(s) a lot like KENNEDY MCMANN, whoever that is, and if they had to pick a side in the war, they would choose to JOIN THE ORDER.

BIOGRAPHY
(bullet points while i get my life together)
Born to David and Katherine Evans, Lily is their youngest child. She was born in Cokeworth and lived a relatively normal childhood. Until things weren't so normal anymore…
Growing up, Lily's elder sister Petunia was her best friend. They did everything together until Lily discovered that she was different. Her sister grew to be jealous and ostracized her. Their relationship has never been the same and it's a bit of a sore subject for Lily.
When the sorting hat was placed upon her head, it was a toss up between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. However, the end result was Gryffindor and it happened to fit Lily to a tee.
She struggled at first with the change in environment at Hogwarts and all of the new things she needed to learn. However, with the help of her (former) best friend she took to it quickly and began to excel at most subjects. Her worst subject was transfiguration. Best subject was Potions
She enjoys the chaos of her job and helping people in need. She finds herself nervous about the world changing around her but is not afraid to voice her opinion even if she clashes with others
WANTED CONNECTIONS
friends and confidants
rivals (academic or personal, give me drama)
a bad influence
exes (flings, relationships, whatever)
study buddies
sibling-like friend
childhood friends (still friends vs drifted apart)
etc

Aurora was grateful that Lily was on the same page as her. All she wanted was to give Ela something great for Oliver. "I think the variation is a better idea." It also gave more for her to munch on. She gives a small laugh. "You do have a point, but I want to try to make it look good." There was the Little Tart bakeshop, but she wanted to try to make these the best that she could. "You have to tell me what is new with you."
Truthfully, Lily didn't know that much about children. However, she did know that they had small attention spans and liked to make their own choices. That was why she gathered that variety would be a better option. "They're going to love them," Lily confirmed with a smile, "As long as you put love into them. You'll do great. I have faith." The redhead picked up a few more sweets. Some for James and others that she could keep at work if needed. "Me? Just trying to adjust to living with James. It's a definite change, but so far it's been good," Lily couldn't hide the smile on her face. She was smitten. "How about you?"
"Yeah some people aren't the most skilled at keeping secrets." Alice agreed with a laugh. Luckily the party was in a couple of days time so people wouldn't have to keep it secret for too long. "I'm buying a cake but I want to bake something the muggle way. Remus said he'd help me but you are welcome to join us."
Lily knew that the best way to keep a secret was to tell no one. To keep it to yourself. Secrets always had their ways of coming out, especially if multiple people knew. She hoped that the party would be a surprise for Frank. He deserved it. "I'd love to help. I know a few techniques from when I was growing up. I might be a little rusty, but I'm sure I can find a muggle book on baking somewhere. It could help."
Andromeda was only glad to know that she wasn't the only one struggling. She did her best not to take the day home with her, to leave her work there. But it was difficult to forget what one saw at any point, and to not worry for Ted and Dora. She laughed softly as Lily mentioned her daughter, shaking her head. "Truthfully going home to her and Ted give me more energy. Their happiness and energy is always contagious." If she were to go home to nothing it would be far worse. They were able to distract her, bring her peace. She can only nod as Lily agrees that it will get worse. "If you ever need anything, even if it's just someone to talk to at the end of the day. You know where to find me." She assured her with a smile. "In these times I think it's important we check in on each other."
When Lily had first began training as a mediwitch, she had found it easy to leave her work at St. Mungo's. It was rare that she felt the weight of her day of work at home. But now, she could feel the lines blurring. She thought about work often. She thought about the things that she saw and the people she couldn't help even moreso. "That sounds nice," Lily agreed with a smile, "I'm glad that they make things better." James and her friends did the same for Lily. Whether they knew it or not. "Of course and I'm here for you as well. For whatever you need. To talk. To vent. A babysitter. I can do all the things," Lily replied with a grin.
Marlene chose to spend her day with her very best friend, the two of them having been joined by the hip since they met all those years ago in the Hogwarts express. She had the day off at work and had attempted to get Lily to join her into an afternoon at the Three Broomsticks only to be met by her always responsible self, not able to skip work. Instead, the blonde had tagged along for a day at St. Mungos, lingering on the side and getting to chat with the other witch. It had been hours now of observing, Marlene unable to hold her tongue anymore. "I have to say you're an angel, Lils, the patience you have with the ill and harmed is just marvelous." She said with a shrug of her shoulders. "I could never."
It wasn't often that Lily had a shadow at work. Sometimes she trained other people, but it was far and few in between. She had been surprised when Marlene had agreed to spend the day with her at St. Mungo's. Maybe she should have taken the original suggestion to skip work for the Three Broomsticks instead. It had been hours, but Lily was just happy to spend time with her best friend. "It takes a special kind of person to work in healing. Takes a lot of practice perfecting the patient look," Lily laughed softly as she put away the paperwork she had just finished on a patient. Her gaze flickered to Marlene, "You've been such a good shadow. Let's go grab a pint. I'll leave a bit early just for you."

Alecto let out a small hiss, keeping along with her charade. "It's a little tender." It was not. "Not one of my finest moments. I was getting off my broom and didn't see the rock that I stepped on and fear I rolled it." It sounded plausible. She had seen others do it, herself more cautious of what was surrounding her. "I have an important dinner tonight, and would hate not to be able to wear my heels." That was one thing she could not do without.
Lily was good at what she did. She could tell when people were telling the truth. Most of the time. The witch in front of her was putting on a good show, but she wasn't wholly sure that she believed her. Raising a brow, she nodded at Alecto's words, continuing to do her assessment. "I think that if you monitor it and keep it elevated, it should get better. Seems as if it's just a sprain."
A smile pulls on his lips at the sight of Lily. The redhead always impressed him with her natural talents, considering those who would judge her because of where she came from. "We have a few concerns brought up. They seem to be a little more active recently, which has sent some flags in our direction. A few places that we need to be checked out." He waits until she sits to hand her a folder. "You would go with someone. Never alone."
One of her best qualities was her stubbornness. While others might have given up, Lily was still going and fighting back. She knew being in the Order put a target on her back, but she didn't care. All she wanted to do was help. To fight for what she believed in. The redhead listened to what Edgar had to say, nodding as she took it in. It was dangerous, but she would do whatever needed to be done. "Consider me in," she agreed without hesitation. She knew she could do what he asked for and she trusted him. "When?"
"Her place is big enough that shouldn't be a problem. I'll still have to ask her if we can host it there, but I suspect that it shouldn't be a problem. I'm thinking around fifteen people? What do you think? Is that too much?"
"No, that sounds like the perfect amount. Especially if you want it to remain a secret. You know how people are about keeping secrets," Lily murmured with a laugh. "What else do you need? I'd be happy to help with anything!"
"The wands!" This was why she had friends like Lily to help her make hard decisions. "Why don't I get them all, that way I can make a different variety if needed." And she could munch on what was left. The amount of effort that she was putting into this cupcakes, she probably could have gone over to the bakeshop to order them. "Do you think they'll like them?"
Lily browsed the shelfs for something she could take home for herself. She had always had a bit of a sweet tooth. "I think the wands will be great. Or even a variation so they can pick what they'd like," Lily reasoned, agreeing with her friend. She picked up some sugar quills to take home for herself and a few chocolate frogs she could stash away for Remus whenever he needed them. "I think they'll love them. Toddlers love sugar. You can do no wrong."
Andromeda didn’t miss the way Lily’s shoulders dropped as she came into the room, likely the same way hers had. They put on a good front while with their patients, working tirelessly to help and never stopping. It was unlikely anyone outside the job knew how exhausted they were. The sorts of things they were dealing with on a regular basis. A soft laugh slipped past her lips as she asked if it had been a long day, nodding. “If I had stood still at any moment I may have fallen asleep. Fortunately for me there was no time for that.” She stifled a yawn. “I keep hoping to see things slow down but it seems to be the opposite, doesn’t it?”
The days that Lily put into St. Mungo's were long and exhausting. It didn't help that she was barely sleeping at night. There were nights when she would awaken with nightmares of all the things she witnessed and then it sent her into a spiral. So, she'd go into work early to distract her mind. It was an endless cycle. "I know exactly how you feel and I don't even have a child at home to take all of my energy. Maybe I don't know how you feel," Lily chuckled, rubbing her forehead with her hand. She needed to go home and get some sleep. "I hope for the same, but no. Unfortunately, I think it's only going to get worse."

where: three broomsticks.
who: lily evans; @lionessevans.
Lily was an incredible friend to Remus. She was one of his best friends. She knew he was a werewolf and loved him unconditionally. He could talk to her about anything. Even some things the boys would give him a hard time time with. After all, how do guys understand talking about a woman Remus should have never given up? Lily would be able to understand. She could steer him in the right direction. She was a woman herself. She could give insight the guys couldn't. That was the joy of having her as a friend.
They were meeting at the Three Broomsticks to talk about life, to catch up and, hopefully, have some deep conversation. He always loved their deep conversations. Lily was good at them. She didn't hide her feelings with Remus, something he needed. He didn't need anything sugar-coated no matter how much easier it would be to swallow.
At this time, he needed her input. His mind was whirling with thoughts of Aurora. There was too much there and he needed Lily to be there for him. Cue what was meant to be a deep conversation.
When she entered the Three Broomsticks Remus smiled. He'd been waiting at the bar and walked up to her and gave her a big hug. "It's so good to see you." He let go. "Let's find a booth, yeah?" He asked before his drink slid toward him.
Lily loved her work at St. Mungo's. She loved the thrill of the job but sometimes she let it get in the way of her personal life. As much as she tried not to, there were far too many times that she cancelled plans or showed up late because of her job. Hell, she had shown up at the gala late. It had been far too long since she had seen Remus. Even longer since they had just been able to sit down and have a chat. That was why they were meeting at the Three Broomsticks.
She had cleared her schedule for him, feeling like a bad friend. Remus was one of her best friends. She was incredibly thankful that they had gotten so close over the years. Lily knew his secret and she kept it close to her heart. She tried to help him as much as she could, always feeling for him. That being said, they both knew to never hold back the truth. Their talks were always something that Lily held closely to her heart.
Walking into the Three Broomsticks, Lily bounced up to Remus and hugged him without hesitation. It had been far too long since she had last seen him. "Hi!" Lily grinned brightly at Remus as she pulled away from the hug.
"That sounds like a good idea," Lily murmured, before leading the both of them to a booth. Sliding into the booth, she looked at Remus immediately and asked, "How are you? Is everything alright?"
Alecto shakes her head at the redhead, feigning innocence in her feature, which came by more naturally than one would expect. Rabastan would be proud of her. "Please, I would greatly appreciate that." All that consumed her thoughts was how the witch in front of her would look sprawled out on the stone table she had in her dungeon, tied and screaming in pain. Her mind would in mysterious ways, that at times, it even surprised herself.
One of the things that Lily loved the most about her job was the ability to help others. To see them get better right in front of her eyes. She got the agreement from Alecto and quickly went to work, kneeling at Alecto's side to take a look at her ankle that she claimed was injured. She touched the ankle gingerly, before asking, "How did you injure it? Does it hurt more when touched?"
"You're right. I agree, I think anything fun would be good right now." They needed that, a few hours to turn their heads of from the constant worry and fear about the state of their world. "I was thinking Ela's, if we do it at our flat Frank would surely notice."
The gala had been fun but it hadn't been free of drama or the reminder of what was going on around them. They needed something that was lighthearted. Something that could give them a distraction for a few moments. Something more than just another Order meeting where they were constantly reminded. "Oh, no doubt. Does Ela have a big enough place? How many people were you thinking?"

It was safe to say that Peter had invited himself. Each time he had a part of him still wondered whether it was okay to show up with only a small owl sent in advance to announce his arrival. Of course, he always brought treats. “Lils?” The wizard called out when he apparated into the entry area. “I brought some cake!” Peter hadn’t seen the other ever since he’d taken her home after the gala. The gala in question which had been a total mess. The amount of chaos found within that simple event was sheer impossible to describe.
“Still can’t believe the ministry put on such an elaborate event. Didn’t do much to cover up the mess the world’s in.” The former Gryffindor poked his head in through the door with a laugh. “And the way half of them were dressed up. Did you see them? Walking about like a bunch of pompous peacocks.” Despite all he had to admit that there was something calming about seeing such a spectacle in comparison to the cases he’d have to deal with at work; the number of things he had to fix thanks to those loyalists. “How have you been?”
Lily had grown used to visitors just showing up at her flat. She welcomed it. She liked to host every now and then. Peter's owl had been welcomed and she stood to greet him when she heard him from across the flat. "Hey, Pete," Lily greeted him with a grin and it only grew when she saw the cake in his hands. He was always welcome in her home. Especially when he brought sweets.
"I can believe it. Did you see they were taking donations and all?" Lily resisted the urge to roll her green eyes. She had doubt that they'd actually end up going to a meaningful cause. The redhead was an optimist at heart but it was hard to remain that way when the Ministry said little on the state of the world. She bit back a laugh, a bit sad that she had missed some of the spectacle due to work. "Did you see Minister's wife? What was she wearing on her head?" Lily asked with a giggle. "I've been well. Busy at work. I feel like I hardly leave the place. How have you been, Pete?"

Andromeda was thankful that her shift was over for the day. If she were to sit she felt as though she may never get up again. The hospital grew busier by the day, they saw the casualties of the war coming through their doors regularly. Retiring to the changing room, she rid herself of the healer's uniform and switched into her more comfortable shoes. She was just grabbing her handbag when she heard someone else come into the room. She smiled softly as she saw Lily wander in. "Are you off then as well? I'm not sure I could have lasted another hour." She admitted.
If Lily stopped to think about all the things that she saw at St. Mungo's in one day, she was afraid that she'd never stop. When you worked in healing, you were the front line to the atrocities that were going on around you. It was terrifying but it helped to fuel Lily. That being said, she couldn't be happier that her shift was over. She was exhausted. Lily walked into the changing room, her shoulders sagging the moment she walked inside. The shift had been long.
Seeing Andromeda, Lily's expression brightened slightly. "Yes, I am, thank goodness. Long one for you as well?" She asked curiously, knowing that some didn't like to rehash every detail.
It amused her how she played her role in how the wolf would capture her sheep. This sweet and innocent demeanour was merely an act that worked well on the gullible, like the redhead before her. Lily Evans would make a great addition.
"I feel something is wrong with my ankle, and I've been waiting a long time." She sighs, reaching down to rub it. It's really sore.
The redhead was curious by nature. That was one of the reasons that she had succeeded so well at Hogwarts. She was always open to trying new things. To learning all that she could. Sometimes that made her a little less cautious than she should be. One of Lily's fatal flaws was that she trusted too easily. It had blown up in her face before and she had the feeling it would again. She just wanted to help others.
"Oh?" She asked, her green eyes darting to Alecto's ankle. "Do you mind if I take a look at it? I can get it healed in a jiffy."
