At Castle Cousland
Arthur paused only to marvel at the ingenuity of his sisterâs plan.Â
"Oh, and weâve the sweetest of voices, you and I," he sighed, throwing an arm across Lindriaâs shoulders and the two strode into the courtyard.Â
Sure enough, Dawn was present across the way, helping a blushing Ser Gilmore with his bowman skillsâŚor entire lack thereof.
"Oh, Dawn, Ser Gilmore, what a surprise," he called, his voice a thoroughly amused drawl.Â
Breaking away from Lindria, he clapped his hands together, looking absolutely ecstatic. âIâm so glad youâre both here! You see, Lindria and I have a special delivery!â
Lindria smiled sweetly when she saw the two together. Oh, it was just too easy. She placed a hand on her hip as her brother spoke. She was certain that the plan would work smoothly, but she had to keep a smile or else Dawn would get suspicious.
"Yes! A very special delivery specifically for you, Ser Gilmore, but how convenient that both of you are here."
Lindria smiled to her brother before she paused. Shit. They didn't actually have a written letter.
"And by specially delivery," Lindria coughed, "we mean a message for Ser Gilmore... from Lothering. From the messenger's mouth to our ears." She trailed off, hoping that Dawn wouldn't notice her slightly panicked expression.
