gracie never expected her mind to be this occupied by thoughts of the man whose mouth seemed to have her own way too eager to find it again. she definitely hadnβt expected to ever know what he tasted like or what his skin would feel like beneath her fingertips after sheβd slipped her hand beneath the fabric of his shirt but here she was. apparently, this was her life now and she wasnβt exactly complaining.
theyβd parted that morning after breakfast - a night that probably couldβve led to a lot more if she hadnβt been so jet lagged that sheβd quite literally fallen asleep on top of him mid-sentence - and had only reunited about ten minutes ago. thereβd been a quick hello to the rest of the band, a few smiles and casual exchanges, before gracie found some half-hearted excuse to pull marcus away from everyone and steal a few minutes for themselves.
now they were tucked away at the end of a hallway, hidden from anyone who might happen to wander by, with her back against the wall and marcus standing entirely too close. her lips only parted from his long enough for her to whisper into the tiny space between them, her eyes wandering over his ridiculously handsome face while her free hand - the one that wasnβt currently tucked beneath his shirt - settled against the back of his neck, fingers lazily playing with the hair at his nape.
βwhen youβre on stage, just remember iβm going to be sitting there thinking about what happens when youβre finally doneβ¦ weβre going to put all of your post show adrenaline to good use.β a grin tugged at her lips as she caught his bottom lip lightly between her teeth, just for a second, before letting it go. her eyes met his again, a mischievous little glint in them that made it pretty obvious she knew exactly what she was doing.
