We've got an official starting point

So for now the orgins of this universe's "god/creator" are going to remain unknown, the beginning of everything was a massive clash of Stardust, (my representation for matter) pretty much the clay of the universe that comes from stars, theyre like a well for the stuff. Viscosity, pretty much the original definition but more based in density and gravity yatta yatta, the denser you are the tougher and stronger you grow, the less dense you are or grow to be the faster and somewhat intangible you become. Rigid is the fundamental law that if something is still and silent it will de-materialize into stardust. The other fundamental law is that Sound is everything, every action happens because a sound is made, if sound isnt made effect and action doesn't happen. Volition is the will of the Creator, passed onto all living beings, its pretty much a willpower amp and the narrative reason for plot armor ehehehehe. But anywho all these aspects of creation collide and create a massive struggle of elements bursting out, big bang pretty much. In this big bang the god is doing its best to stabilize it all into actual form, and the first few things it makes is beings that were inspired by the actions of their god. So they too created and thus the six beings of creation were born.

ALL of this can be explained better I'm gonna get there eventually. Anywho the first being made was the Anomalocaris, it was a voracious being that starved and hungered for anything and everything, it was a chronic desire that made it beastly and relentless in nature to consume. The second was the Jellyfish, it was a being of legacy and eternity and it created a flow of time. The third was the Axolotl, she created the gift of affection and reproduction to all living and a few unliving beings. The fourth was the Urchin, a being of parasiteism and violent impulses, it made what would eventually be called warfare, it can infect the very soul of all living beings, urging them to be violent. Fifth is the Secretary bird a being of respect and Pride, it made the gift of individuality and pride to living beings. Finally was the Siphonophore it created community and empathy for one another, incentiveising groups that cared for one another.

The February piece of stuff that was in my head this month,

Genuinely pretty impressed at how fast I made this, I think once I can fluidly pose i can start making comic panels, but thats still a ways away.

Still really proud of this piece though, no lasso tool to help with proportions or lengths, no skeletons or references, just raw dogging a drawing.

I'm kinda dreading leaving the concept art stage of all this, I really like just having a huge sandbox I can through random stuff into and seeing what sticks. The brainstorming, character design, and writing have been probably the most cherished part of my life for the past couple months, and I dont want to change that into a thing Ill view like a job or a big deadline.

First legit coloring ive done in awhile, Pull just keeps getting reinvented over, and over again. Now THIS depiction which will LIKELY be the one I stick with, is a more intimidating, but ultimately unprofessional look for him. He's got robot hands now and theyre much bigger, the jacket has grown a bit and is overall a lot more detailed, the fluff is now exclusive to the hood and the little lights on it add a nice consistent color to the rest of the mostly purple design. The head is no longer a cool stylized head, I couldn't consistently capture the emotions I wanted to with that head design so sadly I've shelved it for now, in it's place is the black hole head. My main inspirations for the new head was that one sage guy in elden ring's dlc, and murder drones expressions, the expressions arent really shown here very well but I want to use the rings in most depictions of black holes as ways to make faces subtly. Whether thats eyebrows a smile or a big ol eye I want the head to still be expressive but ultimately simpler to draw than a raw human face.

First post with the backround thingie finally, ANYWHO Carillon and Fever got heavily redone. Carillon is straight up shelved for now, taking her place is Aero a mimic of angels. Her planet's ancestors were blessed with the presence of actual angels and ever since then those ancestors have shaped the entire planet to act like those angels. Aero is a pilot and enjoys flight A LOT, shes a very avoidant of her angelic "duties" and often runs, or escapes her problems or responsibilities by flying.

Now Fever, got heavily reworked, she isnt some top of the food chain world ending powerhouse now. Instead its pretty much the inverse of Aero, the planets neighbor each other and cause frequent issues amongst the people and their differing ways. Fever's planet is much more akinned to hell, but a very softcore kind of hell, mostly about indulging yourself and things of that nature, one of the ways they initiate truly faithful followers is burning them alive for a few moments before bringing them back as a "test of strength" really the leaders just like the lack of skin and the chared color.
