              “ gloomy? me? ” something about that seems wrong but he doesn’t feel the need to correct her. while the actions of his peers does make him feel uncomfortable and even at times rather angry. he wouldn’t think he’s ever gotten gloomy over it, or wouldn’t let it show.

              he does appreciate her kindness though.

              “ ah, well, I was just going to head home — but if you want to do something Elise-san, we can. ”

Elise-san. He called her Elise-san.

Giggling at this thought, the girl rocked back and forth with her arms behind her back, her lips curled into a wide grin, and pride brightly shone in her eyes, a feeling she was unable to withhold... not that she wanted to anyway.

              “ hm ? what am I doing after class? I don’t think I have any plans why? ” this image must have been weird for the students at Shujin. The delinquent transfer student ( what a criminal! ) casually chatting with their newest addition — the bubbly first year Elise.

              he does hope his status as a troublemaker doesn’t get her in too much trouble. he hasn’t asked — yet.

“Weeeell...” The younger girl muttered, obviously taking her sweet time with her response for the sake of a dramatic — and maybe kind of uncalled for — effect as she did her very best to withhold a giggle. She’d heard the rumors. Some mumbo-jumbo about a criminal record or whatever, but because of it almost everyone here tried his or her very best to shun this guy or even avoid eye contact with him at all cost to the point where Elise began to feel sorry for the poor boy, regardless of the credibility of those rumors and gossip.

So instead of wondering whether the word of mouth could be believed or not, wouldn’t it be easier to just go and find out?

              he’s wondering if he should shoot her down, play up the ‘bad boy’ persona the rest of the world seem’s to given to him. just to allinate her now before she allienates him or is allienated because of him.but he knows its not in his nature to be cruel or mean to someone who is undeserving. he lets a small sigh escape him hoping that nothing of ill fate falls to her.

             " that’s good, you’re a first year right? have you seen the school already? “

“Yes and no. I mean... yes, I am and no, I haven’t.” Her response slightly resembled a short military-esque report as she unintentionally (or so it seemed) mimicked her more reserved and disciplined siblings’ manners, probably trying to seem cooler and more interesting — it was a childish instinct, a silly urge that was practically impossible to resist, even though there was a chance that she, perhaps, was not even aware of it. That was when a sudden realization struck her; her eyes widened in surprise, her mouth agape in an almost dramatic fashion.

              he turns confused and rather bewildered that this girl would approach him so randomly — especially to talk about his uniform. Usually when he has this on he’s expecting people to ignore him.

              “ yeah, i’m from shujin. are you — a transfer student ? ”

“Yep!” The girl chirped as she clapped her hands cheerfully, her eye shone with glee and excitement — not even for a second did it occur to her that, perhaps, her behavior could be a little bit overwhelming. No. Instead, she was too busy imagining her life as a schoolgirl, just like one of the many characters from Japanese cartoons, unable to listen even to her own — quite frankly, rather faint at the moment — voice of reason.
