Illustrations from The Human Body: What It Is And How It Works by Cornelius De Witt

Amazing stuff. De Witt’s papers are available at the University of Oregon. Some info about his life: 

Cornelius Hugh DeWitt (also spelled De Witt) was born in Cassel, Germany on June 6, 1905. He spent his childhood and young adulthood in Europe, where he traveled extensively. Before emigrating to the United States in 1928, he studied bookkeeping, spent one year in the Army, and worked in the advertising profession in Paris to support his study of art at the Ecole de la Grande Chaumière and Alliance Française.

DeWitt created several murals, including four for the New York World’s Fair in 1939. While working for the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Company, he became acquainted with Lucille Ogle, and soon launched a successful children’s book illustration career with Ogle and Golden Books. His illustrations are featured in such publications as the Regions of America series (Harper, ca. 1940-48), The Little Golden ABC (Simon and Schuster, 1951), The Golden Geography (Simon and Schuster, 1952), The Golden History of the World (Simon and Schuster, 1955), and The Human Body (Golden Press, 1959). He illustrated the first edition of The Golden Encyclopedia (written by Dorothy A. Bennett, 1946) and was a contributing artist for the later sixteen-volume Golden Book Encyclopedia (edited by Bertha Morris Parker, 1959).

DeWitt died on February 27, 1995.

Actors Yoon Kyunsang, Jung Hye-sung, Kim Hee-won, Jang Hyun-sungappeared as guests in SBS Power FM to promote their drama ‘Oh, The Mysterious’.

One listener asked Kyunsang “I saw you keep ordering more rice in the restaurant. How many bowls of rice do you typically eat if you eat more than usual?”

To this Yoon Kyunsang seemed surprised saying “When did you see me?” and replied with “up to three bowls.”

DJ Kim Tekyun said “On food shows I see you eat a lot” referring to the tvN’s ‘Three Meals A Day’. Yoon Kyunsang smiled and said, “I was allowed to let go and dig in as much as I could.”

He added “Not only I wasn’t good at cooking, I also had no interest in cooking. But I learned cooking from Eric hyung and now I even cook at home these days.”

Shinhwa’s Lee Minwoo also promoted Kyunsang’s Monday - Tuesday drama ‘Oh, The Mysterious’.  On the 27th, Minwoo posted the official poster on his Instagram saying: “BoBoom!! Tonight at 10pm, finally the pilot!!”

Min-woo, who appeared with Andy as guests on ’Three Meals A Day - Seaside Ranch’ for fellow Shinhwa member Eric, has formed a relationship with Yoon Kyunsang during filming as well as at the after party.
