sorim felt stupid. what was she even doing here? she didn’t even know what compelled her to come here when the curfew had already begun. maybe it was because she needed to take a break from all the stress that being an uptight bitch took or she was just tired of seeing all those security guards who question her every move as if she was one of them. she wasn’t one to break the rules, she used to but she didn’t anymore so why was she out here at eleven thirty in the evening just walking aimlessly when there was the risk of being caught by the guards. she was so lost in her thoughts that she almost didn’t hear the sound of footsteps approaching, her heart beating against her chest as she turned around, expecting to see a guy in a uniform. “shit, you scared me. what are you doing here?”

“no no, you don’t need to apologize!” nayeon quickly shook her head, “i was simply confused that’s all.” her eyes held sincere interest while she listened to what she was saying although they changed into a glimmer of surprise when she heard the word. “fans? are you famous or something?” she felt uneducated at that moment wondering if she was in the presence of a celebrity (not like she would treat her any different) and had no clue as to what was happening. “oh look how cute my baby is. he looks adorable, don’t you soonshimie?” she cooed, scooping up her fluffy puppy and hugging him close to her.

‘ no , i should. totally should’ve asked first. but i forgot. my brain is just....ehhh , like keyboard vomit all the time or whatever. who wouldn’t have been confused? ’  too many thoughts , too many ideas , and not a single one telling her what was or was not socially appropriate. at her next question , lily fidgeted slightly. scratching her head as she gave a  s h r u g  of her shoulders.  ‘ well....yeah , technically. i'm a youtuber. i go on variety shows. i even hosted music bank once. all that. ’  while lily looked forward to her world domination of the film industry , she was rather SHY talking about her achievements now. always afraid someone would judge her , think her big headed , or simply want to use her. usually she liked when running into people who didn’t know , but it never stayed like that for long.  ‘ such a cute dog. wish i could have my own , but always busy. speaking of busy , i should PROBABLY get going now. work to do. homework to do. thanks again for letting me pet soonshim! ’

a few times, minhyuk had already considered the fact that he should go ahead and move out of the dorm and request for a new place where he wouldn’t have to hear lily’s noise. however, the whole moving process would take too much of his time and besides, the two were still going to see each other at the campus. the fact that he moved because of her would only cause tension, something that he didn’t want. with all the rumors that revolved around his name, he didn’t want any more trouble. “oh.” was what came out of his lips, the words almost caught as he had heard her words. a soft sigh had slipped out of his lips. a hand would move to his nape, having him scratch it as he stared at her before saying, “i appreciate the offer, but maybe next time. i’d love to get some rest, just––don’t be too loud.”

‘ oh , i wasn’t offering now ! ’  the girl shook her head , slightly appalled and taken aback.  ‘ i meant sometime in the future....way future. but anyway , go to sleep. REST. i should probably go to bed too. as i said earlier , didn’t even realize how late it was. ’  lily , feeling incredibly  a w k w a r d  , slowly began closing the door. giving him a tiny wave , she told him good night one final time before completely closing and locking up behind her. another awkward encounter with her neighbor....hm , maybe she should make a scene out of that. either way , lily had kept her promise. turning off the SCARY film and moving to her king sized bed where her tiny frame rested in the very middle. as soon as her head hit the  p i l l o w  did she realize how tired she was , her eyes fluttering shut for a few hours before she would need to get up and begin another day. 

‘ wha —? you studied abroad in america?? that’s so cool ! i actually want to be a NASA scientist once i graduate. i’ve taught myself english and everything !! ’  the words practically flew out of his mouth, he was so excited. he knew she spoke english but never knew anything else about her. nothing outside of her WONDERFUL artstic vision. her other channel wasn’t catered towards his interests, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t watch the occasional make-up tutorial & drool all over the screen. also, he hardly had the chance to practice speaking his second language and therefore he happily took advantage of the situation. he decided to switch over to english for the rest of the conversation. ‘ did you know that forty-five percent of koreans have very limited english proficiency? ’  how daesung managed to know the most random bits of information was a mystery. he could have a conversation about ANYTHING and he’d still manage to have something to say about it. his eyes lit up once she mentioned the school. ‘ NO WAY !! i go to hongdae university too! see, it’d be pretty CONVENIENT to have me as your assistant. i can be there whenever you need me without a SINGLE doubt ! ’ he was trying his absolute HARDEST to convince her. if he let this opportunity pass by, he wouldn’t know what to do. probably cry before he went to bed at night, wondering where he possibly could’ve gone wrong.  ‘ and oh my god, that would be so amazing??  to see YOU at work?? like….. wow. i really wanna pinch myself to make sure this is not a dream ! you know, in the average dream —- OH ! ’ the boy was so caught up he had forgotten to tell her his name. ‘ my name is daesung, by the way ! an absolute HONOR and PRIVILEGE to meet you, lily. ’

‘ you want to work at NASA ??? that’s so cool !!! you must be incredibly smart then. like that’s so amazing !!! hey , if aliens are real would you tell me ??? ’  of course lily BELIEVED in extraterrestrial life. who wouldn’t? the universe was so vast and mysterious , them on earth  n o t h i n g  but the tiniest of specs in all of the galaxy. his excitement for his dream made her incredibly happy and excited as well. the girl chasing after her own dreams knowing how fulfilling it can be. when his tongue flipped languages , her eyebrows raised in minor shock before an impressed look settled on her features. what could this boy not do?   ‘ i honestly had no idea !! that’s so interesting though. did you know the majority of the US only speak one language?? that’s not very difficult to figure out , though. ’  the girl laughed , speaking to him as if they had known each other F O R E V E R. which was strange , because she really did feel that way. when he relayed that they even attended the same university something in lily’s head told her this had to be some kind of fate. because what else could it be?? coincidence? she didn’t believe in that. things seemed much more magical when etched together by the HEAVENS.  ‘ i see no problem with that then !! as long as you aren’t in the criminal program , though. i personally have no problem with that , but my manager ahhh~~~ ’  blessed be her mom-ager. fuck , she loved this boy. certainly one of the easiest guys she ever talked to.  ‘ it’s an honor and privilege to meet you as well , daesung. ’   the name rolling perfectly off her tongue.  ‘ we will be filming near the cafeteria around midnight tonight. you better be there. ’

“mhm, yeah that’s why,” she hummed, deciding not to go into details about her extracurricular activities that contributed largely to why she’d lost weight drastically, looked sick constantly and was now suffering from increased nosebleeds. “uh,” she paused, fingers poking soonshim’s nose. “why were you snapchatting my dog? is that something you do? or are you just one of those people who love to use snapchat?” nayeon really didn’t use social media as much, she only used snapchat to send nudes to levi.

‘ oh ! about that.....oh my god , i’m sorry! ’   the youtuber laughed nervously , unlocking her phone and pressing the little ghost in preparation for her explanation.   ‘ yeah it is something i kind of do. i don’t own a dog , so whenever i see one i kind of spaz. ’  her hand found the puppy once more , letting the  s o f t  furr move through her slender fingers.  ‘ i mean , i LOVE snapchat but it’s actually....like a thing. i post a photo or video with me and a dog and my fans will make cute little fan art for me. ’  lily held out her phone , clicking the snap she had just posted with soonshim and scrolling through the thousands of views and screenshots that were already up.

he knew that didn’t really have to react that way that he did. there was a better way of addressing his concern, a manner where he didn’t have to snap at her the way that he did. taking in a deep breath, minhyuk had closed his eyes momentarily as he had hoped that this could calm his nerves and put his tired brain to work properly once more. “sorry. i just––i’m really tired, alright?” he repeats his claim, his bloodshot eyes enough to be evidence for his case. how could she even be awake at this hour? he couldn’t really figure that out. a soft sigh had slipped out of his lips, fingers threading through his dark locks as he had listened to her words. “maybe you should do that. could help a lot of people. you really don’t have to scream that much you know. you’re so fucking scared, then just watch it with someone or whatever.”

chewing on her bottom lip , lily wasn’t upset but more embarrassed and feeling bad that she had once again disrupted him. while the girl knew deep inside she was a very kind and  g e n e r o u s  person , she also wondered if she was a bit inconsiderate. of course she didn’t MEAN to be that way. with her head always up in the clouds , she had somehow become absentminded of the real world.  ‘ please don’t apologize !! it’s my fault. ’   him apologizing? why why why?? she held up a single hand , and waved it slightly. telling him no , no , no. don’t. though her hand dropped as his rudeness once again made a reawakening. angry neighbor: the bloody sequel. but she couldn’t be mad. wonder woman wouldn’t approve of that.  ‘ you are absolutely right ! i should watch it with someone. i’d invite you to watch and make you tea , but you obviously need your sleep. i’ll remember that suggestion for next time though. ’

          with delicate hands back on his chest, jungwon wore a victorious smile. she was so easy. it could be the arrogance talking but he knew how to play his cards right. so far he’s been successful in getting what he wanted, and when he wants it, and to no one’s surprise he won once again. the reason to following lily in the first place wasn’t to pursue but to get an explanation ─ but why would any man miss an opportunity to take a gorgeous girl against a wall ?  “  you’re asking the wrong question, b a b e.  “  his virile hands slide from her waist to the back of her thighs. oh fuck, has he been waiting for this day. with a firm grasp ; lily was lifted and ruthlessly pinned against the wall ─ bodies merging into every crevice. not an inch separating them. if his bulge wasn’t seen before, it was definitely FELT now. the euphoria of anyone walking in on them simply added to his solidity.  “  you should be asking ;  ‘ how quickly can i change your mind about going to class entirely ? ‘  “  his tone fell low and husky. the words growled out like a starving predator before lily’s neck became home to hungry love bites and sloppy open-mouth kisses. their time was certainly short but jungwon was going to assure that her favourite spots were pampered while leaving a territorial mark.

          oh, the wicked smile that curved his lips. the hand on his chest was all he needed to know that the girl was falling weak. so very weak. of course, his future attempts to play coy were ruined by the tongue sweeping across his lips before pulling in his bottom one ; chewing his temptations back. it began as a simple tease but the more lily pries from him, the more he wishes to change  w o r d s  into  ACTIONS.  “ i’m not playing any games. i’m just answering your question. you know that saying, babe ; ‘ don’t play with fire if you don’t want to get burned. ‘ “  a fitting quote for a man who loves flames. but as of right now, the only thing he wants to see burning in heat is LILY. when he received the same question, his hands were quick to pull the girl closer by the hips. since she didn’t get the hint the first time, he’ll have to explain it in another way.  “ to give you a present example. if i had it my way, right here, right now, your back would be against that wall while you take every inch of me inside you. you’re legs will be too weak to hug my waist way before i’m done fucking you. “
