there are a lot of creepy adults that want to take advantage of vulnerable (usually young) people that are suffering. if someone approaches you and asks outright if you want an ana coach, DO NOT ACCEPT IT. block and report if possible.

when it comes to people that are just trying to find a ‘buddy’ or someone for support, you sometimes have to get a feel for whether this is someone you can feel comfortable talking to. always ask for name, age, and pronouns, and NEVER send pictures of yourself, especially if you are a minor. i’m saying this as someone that was taken advantage of as a minor. you think that you’re in control of the situation, that everything is fine, that you can trust everyone, but you don’t and you can’t.
