After ordeal call 4 story, I'm even more curious about what happened to Galahad Alter in Fate Requiem that made him decide to give up his quest for the Grail.🤔

Galahad's personality during his lifetime was that he was a man without any emotions or selfish desires, which is why he became a Grail Knight, but at the same time he didn't do anything to save Camelot's companions, because he was an fair Ruler who wouldn't take sides.

In Fate Requiem, Galahad Alter mentions that he didn't have any wishes in the past, but seeing the Holy Grail made him know the truth: he just lived for the sake of living, which he thought was more painful than death, and questions whether a man who doesn't know how to love others really needs the Grail. (Although in the story he likes to mock others and do whatever he wants, but he'll still lend a hand when he has to.）
