lily collins for grazia uk, january 2018
š„šš©š„š¤: šš¾š š
bill: i have to admit that would be rather tragic. iāve never dropped a bottle, but iāve had some of them shatter on a car ride home and it was quite the sad event. iād like to think so! or at least on jeopardy. i canāt really blame you when itās a good drink, and iāll admit i have trouble stopping at one sometimes. or an adult that just loses cards. we canāt all be good at everything.
bill: i canāt help myself, i love knowing random facts and being able to break them out at a momentās notice. or on trivia night as the case may be.
bill: it gets more challenging and therefore more addicting? totally been there on most games. though i still pat myself on the back for never having gotten involved in candy crush. you should! i promise animal crossing is worth the addiction just for the fun. and youāll have an island youāre proud of in no time. once in a while, i have to remind my liver of its abilities.
[ typing... ]
bill: you want to? itās definitely been a while for that, but yeah, iād be in for it if youād like. sort of surprised you asked.
lily: so tragic that i have no choice but to remember how many times, it was eight by the way. during a car ride? sheesh, that must've been a whole different pain, if you include the mess. jeopardy, definitely jeopardy, best to make a statement there. they're /unnaturally/ delicious. it's always snapple half n' half for me, i'm weak, probably my form of kryptonite. i guess not, sometimes i'm under the impression that i could be i'll keep dreaming.
lily: competitively, trivia night all the way. i will say, it does make for interesting conversation, i can personally testify for that.
lily: yup, it's frustrating but you can never stop because of how far you've gotten, i guess they're marketing it right. i'm actually impressed that you haven't! especially since it's on the tip of your hand, i'm at level 200 so nobody should be. i'll keep you up-to-date with my island, i'll make sure to be in a tropical hgtv mode. remind it how it take huh, huh? i hear you on that.
lily: (typing...) i want to. it's not very often we get to be in the same general area and it would be a missed opportunity. maybe we can talk, have a good time.. i know i haven't been the most talkative out of us both, so this could help.
today itās a happy day cause i managed to order my own pizza. i know it sounds silly, but hear me out - my accent sometimes getās too thick, and by sometimes i mean anytime i say āhawaiianā. which is a pain in the ass. so this time i said it pretty slowly and the guy on the other side of the phone got it. the only sad part is that he didnāt get anything else i was saying so he gave me A MINI pizza. and now iām still hungry, help me out!Ā @hfrpstartersā
thatās amazing. iām so proud of you! iām sorry it didnāt go exactly the way you wanted your order to be, miscommunication sucks and itās horrible waiting even longer for food. its happened to me here and there, i donāt even have an accent. i could order you something else, maybe make you a meal, iām not too horrid at that.
My sleeping schedule is messed up where there is no returning, and I swear thereās the good and bad times, like my two year old is really hyper and bouncing off the walls around 3am, difficult to calm her down, but then sheās usually calm and happy. Itās really weird, but thatās the price you pay for having a kid. Donāt get me wrong, though, I love Stormi and everything about parenthood, itās incredible how much sheās grown. I might get sappy, so Iāll stop right there. @hfrpstartersā
sounds adorable and tiring all at the same time. my sleeping schedule has been all over the place too, but for completely different reason, iāve just always lacked the ability to have a healthy one, but iām still functioning so thatās great. i donāt mind the sappy stuff at all, stormi is such a cutie. i would get emotional talking about her. iām not even her mother.

youāre right, iām just not used to having such long breaks. our boss is trying out this schedule for lord knows how long but iām not mad at it since it means i can stay home and love on my dog. you know iāve heard of those shows but iāve never gotten the chance to watch them. which would you recommend i start watching first? yeah! a few of my friends are like that too, they donāt really watch anime nut they watched death note and loved it.Ā
itās really nice to meet you too! iām also related to ray-j, but i always get kim k questions when i say that so i avoid it, usually. iām so excited to go to vegas, iāve already began picking my outfits for the trip and iām in love. thatās definitely not sad. i took my dog for a walk today and it was hte most exciting thing iāve done all day. whenever i hear you dadās name, all i can picture is where they played his song for the mike tyson scene in the hangover. itās a great song though, i was listening to it earlier actually. the tarzan soundtrack was really good too. how are you?
thereās a dog involved!? you must tell me what kind of pooch you have. i got to adopt a rescue dog in december and heās already got my whole heart. out of both of them, i would probably watch on my block first, the humor softens the blows for the more dramatic moments so itās nice. golden time really packs a punch when it comes to emotional distress, but i also know some more lighthearted recs if you would ever be interested in those. i get into all kinds of genres. probably even easier to see it after the movie, gives people an interest in the plot line.
really? god, that's insufferable, people are so wrapped in business that isn't even theirs, but that's still pretty amazing. he's got some great songs under his belt. i know, right!? i can honestly say the same, i've been trying to put my suitcase together, but the procrastination is trying to threaten me. i'm still getting revved up by some of the plans i've put together. that's a little more sensible, anything with a dog is exciting, at least to me. the hangover was so hilarious and that scene really does stick, i might have to play it once outloud to really capture vegas and all the chaotic energy. i'm doing good! besides the procrastination, i've been hanging around and relaxing, the trip is just an added bonus.
jcmesrodriguczā:
I donāt know, I think whenever I visit them, they just want to do something different. Are you saying youād like to ruin my hair? Is that the reason why youād be good friends with her? I mean, my hair isnāt looking bad, I kind of like it a lot. I think I am, Iāve got a ring pop and everything. I donāt know if I should invite you because you were basically saying youād like my family to ruin my hair, I donāt know if I can trust you. You lost the ring? Why are you the way you are? I bet the person is devastated. Should I help you? Should we travel around the world and find him? What is his name? How did you meet him? I wouldnāt mind an adventure right now.
thereās mystique behind it too? it just keeps getting better and better. iām not saying that i would directly ruin your hair but iām also saying if she asked me, i would struggle a little bit then say no. i think. who am i to ruin your self-proclaimed nice looking hair? i couldnāt take that away from you. oh, no! that was a complete misunderstanding, i just changed my statement to maybe ruining your hair, i think that should be enough to let me attend, wouldnāt to do anything on your wedding that could equal to collateral damage. iām an ungrateful wife, thatās why. he probably forgot about me because he figured out my little secret. you can help me with huge love confession though, his name daniel and i met him in north carolina while i was filming. are you still down?
š„šš©š„š¤: šš¾š š
lily: i'll give you this one, while i'm thankful that i don't have to worry about breaking the glass bottle. the facts are the highlight, maybe sometimes more than the actual drink your excuse has been taken into /deep/ consideration. so i'm the only one that has drink at least three!? i just might have a problem. i don't ever believe people people when they say they have a full deck, i had up to three once because i kept losing them. i'll pull this off, or just buy my fourth one.
lily: i had no idea and i'm a little disappointed in myself? i think i've picked three out that already caught my eye, get ready for this.
lily: bees have five eyelids, perfect for betting them. flamingos turn pink from eating shrimp, literally proving you are what you eat. last but not least, fish cough. that's it, they cough.
lily: best fiends, it's like candy crush but worse, but i can't look away. i'm doomed. it looks like i'm not that far behind from that and feel like i still haven't played animal crossing, is it worth the investment? i am, actually. can't really turn down offer to be consistently drunk.. are you going?
bill: is that what you worry about? has that happened before? and thank you, i'm glad i've been vindicated here bc i do love my random facts and learning them. three?! i'll admit i have a sweet tooth but that's a little much, even for me. i question if i have one mostly bc there are a lot of kids in my family and god knows what happens to all the cards. part of the reason i have no idea where the deck is in the first place. might just buy another.
bill: i'll admit i knew the flamingo one, but bees have five eyelids and fish coughing?! i had no idea. glad to add these to the knowledge arsenal.
bill: i've never played it but from what you've just said, maybe it's a good thing if it's so addictive. besides, i'd feel like i was cheating on animal crossing at this point. it's definitely worth the investment, you should try it! join the rest of us and go down the island rabbit hole, your life will never be the same. yeah, i'm going too and basically feel the same way. the 'ol liver needs a workout, anyway.
lily: recently discovered it was my biggest, nothing worse than missing out on some snapple due to my butter fingers. i think you would really do someone a solid for a trivia night at this point. the first step was admitting i have a problem with it, but it's just about as far as i gotten and plan to. i think that might be your best bet at this point, but that leaves me with the question that if there is no children to help me lose my decks.. am i the child?
lily: knowledge arsenal? yeah, you're definitely trying to murder your competition during a trivia night. i feel so bad for the bystanders.
lily: it is good, just the worst because it just gets harder the farther i get. basic game formula, i know, but still. looks like i have to, i really have to involve myself in things like this once everyone i knows does. i also need something to save me from on and off relationship from best fiends and a rabbit hole seems ideal. that sounds good for you and your liver.
lily: (typing...) would you want to hang out? i don't know, have a few drinks. it's been a while since we last did that.
jcmesrodriguczā:
The first thing that happened when I got to visit my family in Colombia was my sister asking me a million questions about what Iāve done since I last saw them ā they also tried to cut my hair. Apparently Iām not allowed to look prettier than them, although theyāre all very beautiful ā so that doesnāt make much sense. Sisters, canāt live with them ā canāt live without them. And when I was on the plane back to Madrid because I have practicing tomorrow, there was this one kid that wouldnāt leave me alone but it was kinda cute. She kept giving me paper, saying that one day ā theyād be flowers. then I got a ring pop. I think Iām engaged now. || @hfrpstartersāĀ
now thatās just gold, i think iād be good friends with her. was there masterplan to ruin your hair? i feel like that would be the case if that was her first complaint. if it is, i respect her even more. all due respect to your hair though, hope it still looks nice for years to come. wait, now youāre engaged? i full expect a wedding invitation even if we donāt know each other that well because thatās the cutest thing iāve ever heard. i had a little propose to me once, i admit i may have lost the ring but sometimes i think of where my long-lost husband is now. the only thing left is to go on an epic search for him, but something tells me he might have forgotten by now.

bill: itās not technically neurotic. i mean, snapple just builds all these expectations with their facts that when they donāt put them on all the products, itās rather chaotic. thatās my excuse and iām sticking with it. and well, i only looked up one fact for only having one bottle! and i do have a deck of cards...that i donāt know the location of or even if itās a full deck, so iām not in any better place with those. looking it up online just doesnāt feel the same.
bill: you didnāt know they had a facts site, though? iām glad iāve given you at least that cool piece of information. can i count on you to share the facts you really like?
bill: sounds positively thrill worthy. which game is it? iām about the same except iām waiting to pack last minute and letting animal crossing take over my evening instead. i take it the suitcase is for the vegas trip though?
lily: i'll give you this one, while i'm thankful that i don't have to worry about breaking the glass bottle. the facts are the highlight, maybe sometimes more than the actual drink your excuse has been taken into /deep/ consideration. so i'm the only one that has drink at least three!? i just might have a problem. i don't ever believe people people when they say they have a full deck, i had up to three once because i kept losing them. i'll pull this off, or just buy my fourth one.

bill: do you ever have those moments when you get tragically sad over something absolutely ridiculous? case in point, i bought this whole pack of snapple juices not realizing they're in plastic bottles and therefore don't come with snapple facts. looked at the label too, and absolutely nothing on there. so now every time i drink one, i feel like something's entirely missing and it's not the same experience.
bill: so now i head over to the snapple facts website just to have a fact every time i drink one. and just in case you wanted to know, the king of hearts is the only king in the deck without a mustache.
bill: hoping things are so much more interesting on your side of the world.
lily: did you ever meet a person that put the 'neurotic' into 'neuroticism'? ..i can't really just say that without acting as if that would be any less disappointing for me, almost as disappointing as you telling me just /one/ fact, but now i have this itching need to go check out a random deck of cards that i currently don't have. considering having someone over that does for my own selfish needs.
lily: the td;lr is that i'm actually really sad that happened to you and that now i'm really happy that snapple's website allows you to check the facts? i had no idea. time for a new morning routine.
lily: i'm actually having a blast, i've been sitting by an empty suitcase, staring at it then playing some kind of phone game that makes me feel defeated, then repeat. i didn't mean to brag about my vivacious life the way i did, it's just hard being as adventurous as me and... not.
johnkrasiā:
Ah, my lovely New York, youāll never stop being fascinating! So, just a couple of hours ago I was heading home from my friendsā place in Manhattan. Since itās pretty late, there were only two other people in the subway car and, honestly, I didnāt really pay attention to them as I was too busy scrolling on my phone and trying not to fall asleep. However, I still had to notice one thingĀ ā how this one man in a suit came up to me and sat as close to me as physically possible. Then he told me to stand up and block him so he could change his outfit. You know what I did? I was so confused that I just went with it. Also, who knows, maybe one day Iāll find myself in a situation when Iāll have to ask for help from strangers? AnywayĀ ā when it was finally my stop, he gave me a flashlight key chain and told me to be safe out in the world. So⦠I guess you could say it was a pretty good weekend. || @hfrpstartersā
i did not expect the last portion of that story at all. then again, it is new york so i think itād be even more shocking if something that wasnāt at least a little strange happened. thatās probably why i loved it so much. there are several points iād like to bring to the table. he was very brave to change on a subway car because iād probably lose my balance and fall over, not that iāve personally thought of doing it. also, it was nice that he gave you a little trinket for his troubles. i think what hits me the hardest is that when my friends and i were probably fifteen or so, it was something we would do for each other in stores if we didnāt want to wait to go into a fitting room. not that iā trying to compare you to a fifteen year old girl, but itās pretty hilarious to linger on.

Since weāve been filming our wrestling shows the last few weeks, Iāve gotten a lot of time on my hands, more than I ever thought I would so Iām watching my favorite show for the tenth time, at least. Iāve got a question for you guys, what show or movie can you watch over and over again and not get sick of? For me itās Death Note. I highly recommend it for those who love anime.Ā
Also, guess whose back? Itās me. For those who donāt know me, Iām Mercedes but I wrestle under the name Sasha Banks, and here are a few things about yours truly: Iām related to Snoop Dogg, thatās always going to be brag worthy, okay? I love anime, makeup, everything about Japan, k-pop, and tons of other things that I could list but weād be here for a while. Fill me in on everything going on with your lives, please. || @hfrpstartersā
free time is never a bad gig, i know i have some right now and i've been doing a whole bunch of nothing, nothing productive at least, so when you said you've seen this show for the tenth time--- i'm heading right down that road. i'm obsessed with on my block, the humor and drama all wrapped in a nice little bow, really seamless too. i've actually seen death note! i loved it, i haven't seen many anime's during my lifetime, but i have a friend that shoots me recs ever so often, like golden time. it was probably the most recent one i got to see.
it's nice to meet you, mercedes, and judging by all the things you just told me, i don't think any information i share could really be that much more exciting, snoop dogg and you kick ass? pretty impressive. my life has been a little bland, getting things together for the vegas trip and i washed the dishes which was the highlight of my day, possibly the saddest thing i've said today. my dad is phil collins, on the record of call people to be related to, i like to remind his greatest achievement was the tarzan soundtrack.
